Title: Slash Friendly.

Puppeteer - July 20, 2008 08:29 PM (GMT)
Well, the rpg I was playing in has nearly died so I am looking for a new place to play at to get away from my own rpg. There are a couple things I am looking for and I am pretty open so as long as your rpg fits throw it out there. :)

Genre: Fantasy
Difficulty: Any.
Type(s) of Creature(s): Elves, vampires, werewolves, other mythical creatures. No harry potter please or twilight.
Preferred Rating: R
Preferred Number of Members/Activity: New -> established.
Preferred Time where RPG is set in: Modern prefered although I will look at all.

Genre: Real Life // no high schools please, I will consider colleges. Preference to those that include horses somehow.
Difficulty: Any.
Type(s) of Creature(s): Humans
Preferred Rating: R
Preferred Number of Members/Activity: New -> established.
Preferred Time where RPG is set in: Any.

Other Notes: I am looking for a place where I can roleplay a functioning female/female relationship. If your board is slash friendly, thats cool, but I would prefer if there were already existing femslash relationships. I find too many boards just have gay men and no gay women and that makes me sad.

Funnily, we seem to have more lesbians than gay men. Unfortunately, there's a temporary ban on female characters, because we've got a couple too many at the moment. However, things should be even enough soon, and females will be open again. If you like, I could even PM you when they open up again. ^_^

At this very moment, there are nearly 7 billion lives being led today.
That is 7 billion lifestyles, thoughts, breaths, decisions, plans, mistakes, and hearts.
It is impossible to keep track of every second of every life and every death, but we can try.

toronto, canada.
The Church and Wellesley neighborhood is one of Canada’s most vibrant communities. Because of it's diverse atmosphere, the neighborhood draws in a fair share of activity and has a growing number of residents. As with any community, it is both a struggle and a pleasure to call it home. Though, the general message, one that you'll pick up on almost instantly, is no matter where you're from, or how you happened upon Church and Wellesley, you're welcomed. It's just that behavior, the indiscriminate kindness and underlying sense of safety, that has drew in so many lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender residents. Needless to say, it's a welcomed place to just be yourself, despite sexuality, and never have to worry about what the next person has to say because, nine times out of ten, they're going through the exact same thing.

However, life isn't all rainbows, even though you my mistake it as so, considering the amount of rainbow flags, with pride, hanging up around town. There are some residents who are struggling to come to terms with who they are, and their life directions, in various ways, some which can go unnoticed without a closer look like, a person struggling with the loss of a lover after an emotionally defeating battle with a well-known illness, or a mother of a child turned down for parental rights, just because they aren't biologically related. There's even a person, one out of an overwhelming million, coming to terms with gender identity and how their outward appearance just doesn't seem to match.

Church and Wellesley is where people go to start anew and to forget old troubles. It is a community where pride is of the utmost importance, no matter what, who, or where you are. It is a community where hope springs eternal and dreams never die.

Thanks Spazzy, I would love a pm.

In the meantime though, I am open to more suggestions.

hmmm well on the fantasy part I know one suggestion:

QUOTE
Welcome to the Steampunk world of Legend Makers.

The former King was lately found to have died of natural causes at the age of 35. Predicted cause of death was heart failure. Unknown to most, the result of his kingship's death was from a large quantity of Foxglove in his soup, which in small doses is classed as a drug used to aid those with weak hearts, yet large doses can prove fatal.

Following the death of the King, his child Alexander the III has taken up the role of monarch at the young age of 7 years old. Due to his age and inexperience, the Church has offered their services in helping run the Kingdom temporally until his 16th birthday when he can take his rightful position in the political world, seeing as his knowledge of the political world and faith will be up to acceptable standards.

Unknown to the public, the Church has lead the continent for the past 100 years by pulling such stunts similar to this one:

Monarchs have been used as political puppets, to be used when useful and discarded when posing a threat, much like the former king Alfred the IV. His Rule was cut shot due to a few outcries on his half against the Churches current place in the political world, (unaware, every decision he ever took as King was moulded by the Churches very hands). This lead to a momentary laps in the peoples respect for the Church. The Puppets strings were quickly cut away, opening a position for a new monarch, a new face for the church to hide there scheming behind.

It's steampunk so it's future mixed with past.
The place has all sorts of creatures and you can create your own race too.

Dirty Little Secret !

At this moment, there are six billion, four hundred seventy million, eight hundred eighteen thousand, six hundred seventy one people in the world. Some are running scared. Some are coming home. Some tell lies to make it through the day. Others are just now facing the truth. Some are evil men, at war with good. And some are good, struggling with evil.

Six billion people in the world, six billion souls, and sometimes…all you need is ONE.
Everyone makes mistakes, everyone has secrets, but what if just what if your mistake or secret was big enough to make you run and hide would you run? Leave behind the people you grew to love: friends, family, children, spouses, everyone in your life? Well, there’s a city in New Mexico that allows this… Albuquerque, perched right in the valley of the mountains in the middle of the desert. There’s tons of things here to start your new life. But be careful as the secret city grows bigger it’ll grow harder to keep your secret with newcomers from peoples hometowns come in, how long is your new life going to be a secret still.

Dirty Little Secret!

zuca1988: Dirty Little Secret has my attention - I have actually looked at it before and considered joining. I will be lurking and maybe making a character. :)

Temperance: I am not sure if the steampunk one is my thing but I can't seem to find a link in your ad so I can check it out.

Meliora's a classic fantasy site (not modern, unfortunately) with a ton of opportunities to be creative. There are various races, including humans, elves, drows, dwarves, banshees, gnomes, nymphs, centaurs and quite a few more. Some of the races have the potential to become vampires, but werewolves are not currently found in Meliora (they were in the past, and they may be in the future). We accept all types of relationships and content (within reason and with warning), so if you would like to play a homosexual character in a female/female relationship, you are completely free to do so. In fact, we have quite a few bisexual characters at the moment (it's not at all uncommon in Meliora). Since Meliora is a small community at the moment (round off to 20 members), there aren't a ton of relationships of ANY kind right now, so I can't say we have a ton of femslash going on.

. . .There Are Many Paths to Tread. . .
In a land governed by royalty and divinity, how will you choose to live? Will you devote your life to your deity, serving them as a priest or priestess? Will you live independently, giving up the protection of the divine? Will you reside within one of the cities of the eight under the watchful eyes of the god you trust? Are you one of the extraordinary who can earn the right to share in the powers of the gods as a mage? There are many choices to be made, for in Meliora, all things are possible.

. . .The Power of the Eight. . .

Long ago there was a battle with the mighty Leviathon that changed Meliora forever. The greatest mages of this time joined their power to destroy the Leviathon, but paid a great price. They perished. Their power was lost, but the land was restored. Years later, individuals from across the land began displaying powers greater than those of the mages that restored Meliora. They became the eight deities of fire, water, earth, air, day, night, time and fate. Since then, some deities have come and gone, but the spirits of nature have chosen others to rise in their places. The Eight are the most powerful beings in Meliora. Your fate is in their hands.

. . . Nothing Lasts Forever. . .

Meliora has prospered for many years, but all good things must come to an end. The Leviathon proved that tragedy can strike when it is least expected. It is only a matter of time before peaceful Meliora is, once again, shaken to the core. Will you be the change you wish to see, or will you step back and watch as others control your destiny? Even the smallest person can change the course of the world. Every soul counts.

Join us and find your way. . .
