I had an idea for an addition to my main RP, Behind the Veil. In it, I was thinking about putting in some kind of system to represent how well known a character is. The more fights they win or the more notable of actions they perform, it would increase this stat and their character would become more famous (infamous) among the masses.

However, I have no idea how I could record every persons win/loss record without it getting cumbersome quickly. Even then, I'm not sure what kind of benefits I can provide for people of a higher rank. Should it just be in character, or could there be possible to provide out of character rewards?

Thus, I come to you for advice.

Possibly, what you could do, is give out for instance an award for In Character, and Out-Of-Character actions. For instance, lets say you create a Member Group, meant for someone who has won the most fights.


You could, make a poll for members to vote on a selection of characters who have been in a fight and won. So you don't have to read every-single-thread you could, PM members and ask them, for instance,
'Please give me any and all of your characters who have won at least one fight'
Then wait for them to reply for a list, and once you get, lets say three or more characters, you put up that poll, let them vote for two weeks or so, and then award the most voted for character, by giving them a member rank that has a really good icon showing, that they have accomplished this.
