Title: Something Original
Description: i can't seem to find

DarlingDear - July 18, 2008 02:39 AM (GMT)
Genre:real life/ high school/boarding school
Difficulty: intermediate (maybe advanced)
Type(s) of Creature(s): humans only, please
Preferred Rating: PG-13, R or mature doesn't really matter
Preferred Number of Members/Activity: Active, but not overly crowded
Preferred Time where RPG is set in: present

Other Notes: I'm really kind of picky. I want something that would be really interesting and such and keep me coming back. I would prefer something more high school/real life because i want to try something a little different then the usual boarding school sites, but those are good too.

And of course, not too crowded, maybe at least 20 people. Enough where there are plenty of people to rp with but not too many. It would be help if they're friendly too. :]

Thanks!

"Sound rolling."

"Camera rolling."

"Frame."

"ACTION!"

You are part of this crazy industry. The industry that never sleeps. Work hours can start
at 10pm and last all the way till 3 in the morning. When you get a project, you can forget
about doing some lunchtime shopping or going for a short holiday on an island your collaegue
bought. You are stuck with the same people day in day out for the next 10 months.

But you would rather be in work than out of a job. The fame and the money that comes with
it --- priceless. Suddenly everyone knows your name, and all your school enemies are calling
you up to "chat".

Except happy endings are stories that have not finished. You wake up one morning and you
find dozens of hate mail stuffed under your door. You open the daily newspaper to find your
16-year-old face staring at you with a headline that says, "DIRTY SECRETS HE KEPT FROM
FRIENDS". Your so-called best friend is giving interviews to OK! and Hello!. The film
you starred in is postponing its release date. The television drama you were supposed to star in
drops you. All of a sudden your career is non-existant.

This industry makes or breaks you overnight.

Welcome to Hollywood.

You've got the whole world ▪ S T A R S T R U C K.

Dirty Little Secret !

At this moment, there are six billion, four hundred seventy million, eight hundred eighteen thousand, six hundred seventy one people in the world. Some are running scared. Some are coming home. Some tell lies to make it through the day. Others are just now facing the truth. Some are evil men, at war with good. And some are good, struggling with evil.

Six billion people in the world, six billion souls, and sometimes…all you need is ONE.
Everyone makes mistakes, everyone has secrets, but what if just what if your mistake or secret was big enough to make you run and hide would you run? Leave behind the people you grew to love: friends, family, children, spouses, everyone in your life? Well, there’s a city in New Mexico that allows this… Albuquerque, perched right in the valley of the mountains in the middle of the desert. There’s tons of things here to start your new life. But be careful as the secret city grows bigger it’ll grow harder to keep your secret with newcomers from peoples hometowns come in, how long is your new life going to be a secret still.

Hey there. :) I have just started a summer camp RP that accepts youth from 11-20 years old. It's just for this summer, but it should be pretty good. We're officially opening this Monday, but we're taking characters and RPing outside of camp until then. Please check us out!

Ever wanted to go to a summer camp but decided that the dirt and the sun wasn't for you? Or perhaps you want to go but you don't have the time. Well then, come to Camp December.

Camp December is a virtual summer camp that lasts approximately 2-3 months in real time while we RP a month-long summer camp. During these two months you can make characters, create plots, expand relationships while meeting new people in the roleplaying community.

If you're willing to help a new roleplay get off the ground, then I have a great site for you! Looks Like Rain is a small-town roleplay based in Minnesota, and we'd love to have you there. :3 If it's not what you're looking for, then I wish you luck on your search! ^-^

Perry, Minnesota.

Haven't heard of it? Well, that's no surprise. With a population of 11,000 people, it's hard to make itself known, especially in a state of Minnesota's size. Let me be the first to welcome you to Perry, Minnesota. One of many tiny towns in the state of 10,000 lakes.

Late on April 14, 1997, and EF4 tornado brought most of this small town to the ground. Large neighborhoods were destroyed, franchises were left barely standing, and trees were down everywhere, bringing power lines down with them. The tornado sirens in Perry were silent that night - it's still debated whether they were faulty or not. The only people who could've known were those sitting in front of their television sets at 2 A.M. After finally surveying the damage the next day, it was said that a total of twenty-two lives were taken. What happened in Perry that night was, and still is, considered the worst event that has taken place in the southern half of Minnesota in fifty years.

It's now Spring of 2008. It took years for Perry to completely rebuild itself: physically and mentally. Though many residents have chosen to forget the events that took place a little over a decade ago, many still have pangs of fear every time a storm cloud reaches the horizon. When one lives through the destruction of a storm of this magnitude, one doesn't move on easily. It could be decades more before any of the citizens in Perry relax during severe weather.

So, where do you stand? Are you a high school student whose family has lived in Perry their entire lives? Or perhaps you're an incoming college student from another state, with no knowledge of past events that strike fear into the hearts of many Perry citizens. Or maybe you're a mother of two, just trying to get by with what little your job will pay you, while still trying to convince yourself that lightning doesn't strike the same place twice.

Fear is in the eye of the beholder.

Have you looked towards the horizon?
I've heard that it looks like rain.

2013.
What an unlucky number.

"My name? Oh... it's not really safe to say now, is it? Sorry. But it's best to stay anonymous
when you're talking about things like this; particularly as my house was broken into last week.
I'm not feeling sorry for myself, not by far; it happened to my friend too. The crime rate started
to shoot up here in London in about 2010 and it just kept going. The authorities can't really
handle it. Why don't we move? Because it's the same everywhere else; London just happens to
be where I stay. So many people are mugged near me now and there was even a murder only
five minutes from where I stay. It's unsafe and I can't even let my kids out of the house. I mean,
there was once a time where I could stroll down the street without clutching my kids' hands and
holding my handbag tight to my chest in case someone should try and grab it."
Welcome to London.
Your own personal hell.
Everyone's own personal hell.

Imagine crime shooting up to a ridiculous level. Imagine being
afraid to walk down the street. Imagine the breaking of the law
around you every day. Imagine the authorities losing control.
Imagine the punk movement's utter dream and your worst nightmare.
You my friend, are imagining 2013.
Watch out or you may end up with
BULLETS IN THE BACK.

Bullets In The Back is a hopefully successful attempt at a crime RPG
where crime actually does happen and the events actually are realistic
for the future but pretty horrific. The roleplay is advanced and we are
an originals only roleplay, believing in true freedom with characters.
We are R-rated so be sure you can handle violence. Hope to see you there!

Everyone has heard of Lewis Carroll's ALICE IN WONDERLAND,
but they haven't heard it like this. It's present day Oxford, a bustling
city with everything anyone can ask for. Socialites, celebrities, and
entrepreneurs plague the city streets, stimulating the economy in
every way. But while this may seen like the shagri-la in today's world,
there's this sinister evil hiding underneath the city's perfect façade.
Enter the wonderlanders, the group of customers of Wonderland, the
drug den. Of course, with every exclusive clubhouse there is bound
to be the V.I.Ps of the V.I.Ps, and they're the special brigade that's
been with the Rabbit since the start, and they're the ones you don't
want to mess with. They're the valued patrons of the White Rabbit's
money maker, and the thing is, they're the people you least expect
to be there. Politicians, CEOs, the head chief down at the precinct,
you name it, they've been bribed, there, sold and signed their soul.

Skip over to the other side of the town where the investigators reside,
the ones who are dying to uncover and bust Wonderland, whether for
prestige or for their job. Adding to the equation, there are the believers
who fuel the rumors, wanting so desperately a taste of this Wonderland
themselves. And then you have the skeptics. Skeptics are those who
refuse to acknowledge the fact that there is something threatening to
take down the city's prestigious titles and reputation. They're the close
minded social royalty that hide away in their penthouse apartments,
sipping away at their expensive imported tea as if nothing is happening.

This is the city of Oxford, where addiction is the new black. Are you ready?

APOCALYPSE HAS HIT NEW YORK CITY.

in 2009, the government launched a supposedly safe program to get rid of excess radioactive waste.
they started with a very small amount, containing it in an airtight pod to be sent up into outer space. the program was successful, and the pod made it past the atmosphere, to float in space forever, hopefully finding a the black hole on the astronauts' charts.

however, it took only a large meteor to smash into the pod 20 minutes after the initial arrival into space, the radiation was rained over new york city, not enough to cause complete ruin, but enough to alter its inhabitants. all citizens of new york were ushered into planes to be taken to other cities and towns, never to return to the Big Apple again.

however, the accident had lasting effects. in 2040, the sons and daughters of the new yorkers during the explosion had become....chemically altered. parents were shocked when their 14-year-old son could move earth, or their daughter in high school could learn any language within a few seconds. the government got involved again, establishing the Facility to contain the mutant children.

knowing no other option, the children fled to new york, using the new travel technology of the year to get to their new home. the government did their best to follow them, designating Seekers to hunt down the mutants and bring them to the facility. parents would never see their freak teens again.

now it's 2060, and new york has been divided into groups of Rebels and Loyalists. Where will you stand in this divided world?

this is the FINAL WARNING?
