I had the code on my forum, but I lost it. It changes the banner every time you go to a new link and I lost it. You can add your own links and stuff. I can't find an example. >.< sorry. But can anyone help?

The one that I use can be found here. That one is easy to use and has never once glitched on me like a few of the other codes I tried have. The code's creator explains how to use it, and it's probably very similar to the one you had previously, but if you need any more assistance with getting it to work, I'll be happy to help you iron out any bugs.
