Ok I have seen so many people start Charmed sites. But it always seems they don't last. From what I remember, alot of people use to roleplay Charmed. Are people just getting tired of Charmed? Or is that people are making the site right?

I created one myself back around Easter time. A friend wanted to RP one but could not find one he liked and so asked if the pair of us could make one together. Ours didn't last, we didn't have enough members which was the real problem. But here, this is my opinions on why they don't last long:

- Charmed finished on TV a while ago, so it is slowly dissapearing from our minds so to speak. What I mean is, we are no longer watching new episodes, it's considered old now, so I think most people are bored of it.

- People have been roleplaying it for ages and stick to other things now that everything has been done. If a plot hasn't been done on the actual show, its been in RP's, its hard to find an original charmed site. It doesn't matter if you have originals, if you make up a new threat. Its always going to be the same... The Charmed Ones fighing a great evil and always winning. It gets a little boring after a while. Huh?

I've actually been trolling the posted RPs looking for a good charmed site to join. My problem is that I hate canons. It's not that I don't like the characters I just don't want only 5-6 characters being the main guys and then everyone else just being sub characters. I think every member should have the opportunity to be equal with everyone else.

I would totally join a solid Charmed RP, but I want it to be an AU RP without the 'main' characters. I would like to find something that allows original characters to come in and do some business, and even if there were pre-made characters that would be fine, I just don't want to see the holiwell sisters in any shape size or form, unless they're a myth or something that is idolized by the played characters.

Alright, did that make any sense.

Any who, The Charmed series is on sale at Best Buy right now for $20 a season. Last week I bought the first two seasons cause I was bored and wanted to watch a TV show that was cheap to buy. I finished the first two seasons and now I've just come home with the second two.

All in all, if you were to make a Charmed based RP without the main characters involved I would so join in. Send me a PM if it happens ^^.

I'll second that. I have the enitire series on dvd and was actually looking for a decent one. Unfortunately the ones I came across where either long dead or just so completely unintriguing because they lacked originality. Also everything I have seemed to come across has the same theme and plot, that being the children of the charmed ones being the main players. Thats just never appealed to me. It might be interesting to see the bad guys in charge for a change instead of good always triumphing.

Humdi hum hum; Well if anyone is interested I have decided to go and make my own Charmed AU RP. It's still in the works; but so far I know it's going to have all the beings from the show, just no canons. Also, instead of being set in San Francisco it's going to be set in Chicago. Thought they deserved a little bit of a change of scenery.
