The Boundless Realms. It's a brand new RP so you'll definitely be able to grow along with the rest of the members. It's a Medieval/Fantasy RP but we accept any kind of characters. If there isn't a premade race that suits you you're welcome to create your own.

Hey there. I have a Roleplay site called 'Lives and Crimes'. It may be what you're looking for. It's a very new site now, and we're just still in the stage where we're deciding what works and what doesn't.
If you would like to take a look then here you go;
JRL - July 1, 2008 10:51 PM (GMT)

It's very close to being a fairytale. Someone wants a certain race to take over the world, powerful and seemingly unbeatable. It's impossible to locate who's supporters of who and who. Death is suddenly similar to dominoes... but this isn't a game. All the more it isn't a fairytale. It's a fire, with matches thrown in by Voldemort.
He wants to kill the half bloods and muggle-borns, they whisper. It's either dread or delight that accompany those whispers in the hallways of Hogwarts and the streets of London.
Voldemort. Suddenly his name sends shivers down the spines of the wizarding community. When you suddenly become sure that nothing can get worse, the Minister is said to have been
his puppet. The Minister's choice was to either help out the wizarding world and probably die, or become hated and live. His choice was both unwise, and unhelpful. The diplomats the Minister sent out to deal with Voldemort perished.
Voldemort's here. The Minister's denial led to his death.
Then...
It's all a lie, claim Voldemort and the Death Eaters. Voldemort showed that he was there, he was in the flesh. At school, it's either you seek the path less willingly taken to Voldemort, or you follow the other path... in most cases, the correct one. It is your choice to believe the Ministry, or Voldemort. So this is what it's like to be right smack in the middle of a war.
The wars goes on, and all the kids can say is
WE DIDN'T START THE FIRE.
Pleti Pie - July 1, 2008 10:54 PM (GMT)
AirBorne is an original board, and we have a small member base with a steady level of activity. We're not super active, and the rating is PG, but I'd be happy if you took a look anyway. Good luck in your search!
AirBorne takes place in that part of our imagination that thrives on childhood dreams. Here, ships fly through the sky and adventure is a part of life. Inspired by various movies, stories, and even a television commercial (points if you know what I’m talking about), AirBorne is waiting for you to join a crew. Everything is an original production, so there is ample space for equally original characters.
The unique roleplaying environment prevents anyone from being left alone in a secluded area. Anyone who joins is placed on a ship for guaranteed interactions. There are no landlubbers or “pleasurable company” here; everyone is a seaman. Or rather, airman, since the ships hardly ever actually touch the water. AirBorne is an RPG with 21st century sensibilities and 18th century influences. That means, yes, there are females on board.
So what the heck are you doing while flying through the sky? Well, there are lots of things. Some ships are just like merchant ships, taking cargo from one place to another. Others are militaristic in nature, protecting their mother country from trouble. There are “pirates” out there too, hoping to prey upon those merchant rigs and always out for themselves. But you! You are none of these (I’m not kidding).
You’re not a pirate, but you’re not a merchant. You’re not a navy man, but you’re not a rogue. You’re, well, everything. You work for an independent captain in an independent business. You gotta eat right? I suppose you’d be something of a “mercenary,” but that has a negative connotation to it. You and your crew do whatever you must to put food on the table. One day you could be hunting electric eels (which are more like sea monsters), another day you could be escorting a fancy-pants prince to his new kingdom, and yet another day you could be attacking a ship from that same kingdom (or at least defending yourself against it).
Drifters. That’s a good word. You and your ship-shape family are drifters.
Ready to board?

I know I already made a post for my RP but I just got done making a pretty ad for it and I wanted to show it off *blush*
EDIT: I simply edited my first post to add in the advertisement. Sorry for the double posts, this one can be deleted o.O

Let's see what we can do... This is a forum that's been going for around 6 months (with a few ups and downs along the way, sadly!), but it seems like we're just getting into the full swing of things! We're very active, but not too active that you're rushed off your feet. And like I said, the site is still growing, so there's plenty of room to expand ^_^ Anyway, here's the cheesy advert for you to ponder...
---------------------------------
|| Home || Advertising || Rules || Plot and Setting ||June West High School. Your ordinary, everyday English high school. At least, it is during the daytime. At night, the town of West Hillton is a very dangerous place to be as those who just aren't quite human roam the back-alleys. Vampires, demons and werewolves. Not all of them are bad, but not all of them could ever be classed as good, either. That's why the Hunter's Council was set up: to track down an destroy any and all creatures that threaten the existence of the humans race.
But even whilst the general human populace is unaware of the existence of these non-humans, there is something big about to happen in West Hillton. Bodies have started appearing. And what have they all got in common? The school. So, it's up to the five youngest Council Hunters to go undercover and find out what exactly is going on...
Can you handle it? Click here to read on...- Play as a human, vampire, werewolf, or demon.
- Friendly and helpful staff.
- Character-limited IC boards to stop one-liners being posted.
- A brand new layout made by the admin.
- Advertising board open to guests.
- 37 members and growing (we have recently done an activity check).
- Graphics requests and showcase.

Well its Halo, but you dont need to have played the games to know what its about.
Halo Conflict 2569
Based after the events of the Halo Trilogy, Conflict adds a totally new story to the Halo Universe. After the Human-Covenant War, most thought that the storm had passed and Humanity could become peaceful agian. However, thats not how we tend to work. Like the troubled times before the Great War, civil strife and rebellion started up agian.
With the governments of Humanity in shambles, early attempts to rebuild them were met with corruption and lack of authority. The UNSC took it upon themselves to become the Government of Humanity instead, leading to some rejection by the people under it.
Around 2557 a splinter faction named the United Colony Command split from the UNSC, claiming that the UNSC was corrupt and was not the government of the people. In the first round of the war, nuclear warfare was used on colonies. This was in the Paris Battles. This consisted of skirmishes across the Paris Colonies that ended up in nuclear warfare being used.
Lord Valieon, the UNSC Fleet Admiral was kidnapped by the UCC, and was killed infront of a number of UNSC officials. After Crystal McKay filled the spot, the Orgion Conventions were started to stop nuclear warefare. By 2569, both sides are locked in a seemingly everlasting battle spanning all of Human Controlled space.
You must join the fight, and pick between two sides that are neither good nor evil. Will you be able to participate in a Civil War and kill your fellow humans only 13 years after the end of the single most horrible war in Human history?

RoM is a completely original fantasy/medieval site--it's not based off anything but the members' imaginations.
That said, there are more than 20 members, although I'd say that about that amount are truly active. However, because of the freeform nature of the site, you can become a very important part of RoM and influence what direction the story takes by working hard and posting well. I have never in my life seen an rp whose very shape is so influenced by what the members are creating in their threads. Plus, we are extremely lucky to have a wonderfully warm and welcoming community, so you won't get lost, I promise you.
So I give you...RoM!
Enter into a world divided.
With the fall of the Guilds, the Realm of Mystery descended into chaos, out of which rose two factions.
Noresh, place of life, preaches truth, justice, and honor.
Noctis, land of dark, tempts with the night’s honeyed poison.
Repelling and attracting, their dance is a delicate balance upon which the fate of the world rests. After all, there could not be night without day, or day without night . . .
. . . could there?
Yet now an even greater threat looms, and the two are caught in a shifty alliance that could fall apart with a single wrong move. Wanderers, unbound by pledges to either side, pursue their own agendas or seek to create their own power base. Others choose to unite with one of the two factions and test their worth from within. The promise to all beings has always been freewill, and the choice can be made only by you.
The Realm of Mystery is a freeform rpg where characters are the ones who create—or destroy—their world. Join Noctis, join Noresh, or set out on your own. Rise through the ranks or become the subtle shadow behind the throne. Throw havoc or negotiate peace—make friends or enemies—control magic or become a master of fighting—be a leader or a follower—blur the lines of reality to suit your needs. Create your character . . . . Create your destiny . . . . Create your world.
As an advanced roleplaying site, a "sample post" application is required to join. Once accepted, you will find active, supportive members who are helpful out of character and skilled roleplayers in character. Very few other sites are as long-running and creative as the Realm of Mystery, and nowhere else have individual members had the power to change and alter their world as they have on RoM. Join us, and learn the true meaning of magic.

I've got a Harry Potter site for you:
Ad Vitam Aeternam is a brand new post Potter site that's under 20 members (but very active). I think we have an interesting take, but you should come see for yourself. :pink:
| QUOTE |
AD VITAM AETERNAM to life everlasting Throughout history, in every civilization, there have been those who strive to be remembered. To live forever, in the minds and hearts of men. Or to simply live forever. Great and horrible deeds have been done, all in the name of eternity, immortality. It has been 300 years since the fall of Voldemort, and though the future brings advancements in technology and magic, in policy and practice, some things never change. There are rumors of corruption within the Ministry, especially about Minister for Magic Quentin Abbey. Here and there, vocal Ministry critics are disappearing off the streets- coincidence? And of course a new year is beginning at Hogwarts, with feelings of apprehension from longtime Headmistress Neredia Dauntrye. Our names will be revered. Our deeds will be remembered. We refuse to be forgotten, lost to the winds of time. We will raise our glasses together: a toast. "To Life Everlasting." AVA Version 2 was officially opened on 1 July 2008. We're accepting canons, stock and original characters. We're all about having a good time, so if that sounds like your kind of game, come give us a look! Rules • Canons • Stock • Application |

Okay, here are two.
The first one is a fairytale based RP, but not your average sort. It's not very old at all, and there are already 17 members.

Remember the time when you read books for fun? Remember when you actually learned from them? Remember the characters you loved so much?
Well, now you need to remember… for now they’ve been destroyed. Hope is not entirely lost, however; a young librarian created another world for these characters to live in safely. Here, these characters meet and live without any knowing of the world they were forced out of.
The young and those that believe in knowledge and stories can make it into the other world, though, to become a part of these lovely stories. It’s all a matter of whether or not they can find the right portal; it could be the refrigerator, the closet, anything… as long as you have your heart set on
DISENCHANTMENT.

plot and settingThe second is based off of A Series of Unfortunate events -- but set 20 years prior to the beginning of the books, so any knowledge of them isn't needed at all.
the world is quiet hereVFD stands for many, many things, but the most common is
the Volunteer Fire Department. Originally VFD was started to
put out all those pesky fires (metaphorically and literally)
that acidentally happened to start, but as of late, it has been
thrown into a schism and some of its members have begun
starting fires (metaphorically and literally) instead of stopping
them. Both sides are after the sugar bowl, which contains
something very important, although that's top secret
information that very, very few people know about. Will the
Volunteers be able to keep the world quiet? Or will the
villains wreak havoc on the world?
the world is quiet hereVFDNote: although based on A Series of Unfortunate Events, knowledge of the books and movies is not at all necessary.

May I suggest Blue Bloods? We're a vampire RPG based on the novel series of the same name by Melissa de la Cruz. Our member base is a little larger than 20, but I promise you that you won't get lost on our site. We're all very welcoming. If the site isn't quite what you're looking for, then I wish you the best of luck with your search! =)

Well, this might not be *quite* what you had in mind, but if you're willing to look at anything, why not stop by our humble Star Trek board. We might not have very many members, but we're still very dedicated to our site!
___
2376The Dominion has been defeated. Against all odds, the Federation of Planets and its allies were victorious. Many brave souls gave their lives for the cause—soldiers and civilians, friends and family, leaders and lovers—but it finally seems that once more everything is safe and well in the galaxy.
The war criminals who aided the Dominion now face trial - but by whom? You see, even the most noble wars cause damage. Even the wars with the best intention behind them cause problems.
AnarchyOut of all the powers involved in the Dominion War, the Cardassian Union suffered the most. Their capital planet of Cardassian Prime was utterly destroyed, leaving the survivors to live in a place of anarchy, famine, and disease. While their other colonies and territories may not have suffered the same destruction, with their government destroyed they cannot do much to keep the pieces together.
TensionWhile still intact, the Romulan Star Empire came out of the war with its own political problems to sort out. Fighting alongside their old enemies left a growing rift between the Romulan people. Should they return to the isolationist ways, or should they entertain the idea of staying on the Federation's good side?
The Klingon Empire finds it's self in a similar situation. Do they separate themselves from the Federation or do they continue what has become an improbable - but strong - relationship? The issue could tear apart Qo'noS and what little is left of the Klingon Empire.
RecoveryThe Federation - and all involved in the war - are trying to rebuild. Havoc has been wrecked throughout Federation space. The Federation feels they have a duty to keep law and order in the alpha and beta quadrants during this troubled time, but how can they do that when half their resources - both in people and technology - are gone?
____________
We are a somewhat free-form Star Trek RPG, set shortly after the end of the Dominion War. Our purpose is to address the end of the war issues left behind after the finale of Deep Space Nine.

---------

Las Vegas is where anything goes, and everything stays. All the secret affairs, gambling, it's where people go for time to just have 'fun'. But then, there's always cheaters to this system and sometimes, it's not always fun for everyone else.
Casino: Fatale is a Literate To Advanced roleplay forum about transparant societies underneath all the lights, and the fancy colors that Las Vegas holds. Two teams, FALCON, and RAVEN, oppose each other in pure hatred for one another, or at least, their leaders due to beliefs about the way things should be run. Main mission? To destroy one's organization before the other destroys yours. Some may think it's simple, and each group puts the main goal as 'Protecting Vegas'.
But there's more to the story than a simple fight and protect scenario. It goes into a deep history between the leaders of each team, and the original goal that both teams shared. Differences create enemies, and now you must decide on where your loyalties lie. And is what you're fighting for truely noble?

Elenlond - July 2, 2008 03:14 AM (GMT)
=O Elenlond is a medieval fantasy Rp with a rating set at PG-13. We are original, and we accept any character types, though ones that would stir some sort of plot would be awesome. If you're interested, see below.
Elenlond...
A land of mystery, beauty, and power.
In recent times there has been some upheaval as those of the free lands - known as both the Scattered and the Middle Isles - begin to fear the power that the deities exercise over the two main continents, Esiria and Soare. Although no god has endeavoured to conquer the free isles, the people still fear. And there is talk that some have formed groups in Esiria and Soare in support of removing the deities, those who invaded their homeland.
The deities did not choose Elenlond, although they certainly named it. After their original homeland, Mianor, imploded on itself and the world began to devour its own entity, the gods gathered as many of their surviving citizens as they could, pushing them through the largest of the rifts that had begun to form in Mianor. There they travelled, weary from their travels, uncertain of their future.
This time was known as The Great Migration.
It lasted for many weeks - perhaps even months; few kept journals of their journey, and many perished along the way - but eventually, there was an end in sight. The people of the old land plunged into the new and it was named Elenlond. Once they were settled, the people could only breathe:
Our Celestial Haven.
Elenlond has been around for several years, although it recently underwent renovations. Although we sport 60+ members, we are looking for active, dedicated people who will join and help activity to blossom. Our members are friendly, chatty, and we love new people. So, if you're interested, by all means join! We'd love to have you.

Welcome to St. Tristan's School for Girls. EXCEPT it's not just for girls anymore.
St. Tristan's has been forced to merge with a nearby all boy school Karl Emery's
Academy for Young Men. Karl Emery's hasn't been doing too well do to low
enrollment. They were forced to fire all their staff and now only the Headmaster
follows the boys to St. Tristans. St. Tristan's isn't your ordinary school for girls.
There are many quirks about this school from the girls to the Headmaster. The
girls are all very different from one another and there are many cliques, but they
all get along. The older girls might look crazy, but you haven't met the first, second
and third years yet. These girls don't want Karl Emery's to merge with them. They
want their school to stay the way it is. Karl Emery's boys aren't all different like the
girls are. They're stuck up and annoying to these girls. The only boys they really
want around are their Headmaster, Science teacher and two townies that come in
once in a while. These kids are learning some academics, but mostly they're learning
about life. That is what these teacher are there for.

We're relatively new and still looking for new blood! We do allow for a bit more mature content, as long as the topic is rated. How far were going we haven't found out yet, but we see when it turns up :p. Out In The Black is based in the Firefly verse, but it's totally original and if you've never heard of the tv-show Firefly everything you need to know is onboard. And you can always pm me or post in the cbox!

...

Early 21st century, Earth had finally grown beyond its limits and exhausted its resources. Mankind reached for the stars and found themselves a new solar system, with dozens of planets and hundreds of moons. Each one eventually terraformed to sustain life, a process taking decades.
Early 26st century, life on the partially colonized outer planets resembles the lawlessness and desolation of the American Old West. While the core planets prospered and grew strong in their ideals under Alliance control. The Alliance, a formation between old America and China, wanted to get the outer planets under their control too. Independents refused these idealistic views and war broke out, known as the unification war.
Five long years later war ended with heavy casualties on both sides, more heavily so on the Independents side than the Alliance. Even more then before the outer worlds were impoverished and crime ridden.
The year is now late 2519, and in the quest to seek out the perfect civilization the Alliance began experimenting to create the perfect society in taming aggressive behaviour. But it backfired resulting in millions of innocent lives that were lost and the birth of a new people, Reavers, malicious and cannibalistic people. Alliance tried to cover everything up.
Mid 2519 word got out, the last recorded message of a scientist was broadcasted across the Verse. The secret revolting and rebellion spread across the stars once more. The Alliance denied the reports at first but eventually embraced the idea and regarded it as a necessary loss. Others thought differently.
The Alliance this time is on the guard, trying to stop any uprising of those who step out of their control and challenge them. The 'Miranda' project, as they called it, has become their battle cry. It has been seared into their brain as lost loved ones made their sacrifices on that forgotten planet.
Its a playing ground; how will you play it ?An active & original Firefly Verse RPG! Set after the Serenity movie in late 2519. Explore life on the Rim or join up on a ship, anything is possible on

The year is 2012, and the world has decayed from war. Only one place has stood strong against the destruction. Welcome to the city of Nipon, Japan. A city that will see brighter days ahead...the only catch is, can everyone stay alive long enough to witness peace?
Based loosely in the time of Moon Child by Gackt Camui, and the film Children of Men.

EnterAelyns. A place of both the living, and the dead. A place where there is no unreal or real, only those who exist. A place where freedom is a birthright, and hierarchies rule the land. A place where appearances are often misleading, and where even the purest of souls can fall to darkness. A place of traitors, a place of believers, a place of leaders and followers. A place where imaginations rule and reality is all but a dream. This is the place where fates collide. This is the place of the brightest hearts. This, is Aelyn.
As more and more souls enter these Lurid Lands, more and more connections, lies, and secrets are buried beneath the land’s mists. One wolf is his own enemy, one has been exiled, one has killed their own kin, and one is even supposed to be dead. Intricate webs of ties and bonds, grudges and lies are what hold this land together. Through the dark mists, these secrets lay buried. But dormancy is as much as a curse as it is a blessing. Sooner or later, these truths that are hidden are bound to resurface, and the deeper they are buried, the more painful the process will be. However, this is merely the beginning…
Aelyn is a mythical wolf rp rated PG-13. We encourage intermediate to advanced roleplays, but beginners are welcome and we will do all we can to help advance your writing skills. Members form their own packs, or are welcome to lone about in the free lands. We are fairly new , but don't let that discourage you. We're very active, so you can easily jump in and become a part of the member to member plots. We haven't yet started our main plot, mainly due to the fact we wanted to allow our members to start out making their own mini-plots and creating more to go on with future plots to come. We are also taking suggestions for plot ideas. We have several ideas right now and are always welcome to others that our members might come up with. New members are always welcome with wide, outstretched paws. Our Advertisement and Affiliation boards are always guest friendly!

Hi! We may be worth taking a look at! We are a new AU HP board with a handful of dedicated members already involved. We are a friendly group and there's definitely a lot of room for growth with your character(s). We are pretty open, free-form and encourage new ideas and creativity. We consider ourselves advanced, but we don't nit-pick about word count and all that - we are a dark board, so we are more concerned about the basics of RP skills rather than word count and such.
So: Our Advert:
Everyone made mistakes, even he, Lord Voldemort, did. And, it had been a gross and, at times almost fatal mistake. The Seer's prophecy about the Potter boy had seemed so simple and straightforward and it had distracted Voldemort from the real threat to his rise to power. But, the truth was, there had been nothing special about the boy. Potter had never really been a real threat.
It should have been obvious. The real threat was and had always been Albus Dumbledore. It had been him that had denied Lord Voldemort the ability to return to Hogwarts those many years ago. It had been he that had hid the Potters. Dumbledore had been the one to put the protections on the Dursley house. If Dumbledore could be neutralized, surely any other hindrances could easily be handled.
The task was simple. Go back and eliminate the real threat before it could thwart him so readily in the years to follow. Eliminate the Dumbledore bloodline before it could meddle in the true fate of the wizarding world.
The world had been as it was when he'd retired that evening. But he went to sleep, trusting that the time turner had worked. The Death Eater had reached their destination and the mission would be completed successfull. When the Dark Lord had awoken the next day to a delightfully different world, he needed no reports to know that the mission had been successful. The Dumbledore's had been eliminated, their world had been claimed and no one seemed aware of this drastic change that had occurred to their world.
It was clear things had changed. England, and indeed the whole world, had woken to a whole new reality the next day. It was a world in which the Dark Lord’s Death Eaters had been in control since their first claim of power in the early 1970s. The muggle class served the superior wizarding class and the Dark Lord enjoyed supreme rule over Great Britain. With Grindelwald alive and in power in continental Europe, they were well on their way to a superior wizarding race.
Most people are unaware of the change in history and situation. For most of them, they just have the memories of the current version of history, those having overwritten any memories of an alternate reality. On occasion, small percentages of people may experience a strange flashback or dream or something else that hints that things may have been different. But, such flashbacks are fleeting and frequently written off as wishful thinking.
What is Fires At Midnight? Our world takes place during the year 1997, when the main trio would be in their sixth year in the Harry Potter books of J.K. Rowling. In our world, in an attempt to secure his place of power, the Dark Lord sent one of his followers back in time to eliminate the Dumbledores before Albus and his siblings are born. In a world absent of Albus Dumbledore, Gellert Grindelwald rises to power in continental Europe while, later, Lord Voldemort rises to power in England.
We welcome folks that are new to the HP world and RPGing in general. While the basic plot of this RP is based on the HP world, there have been many changes to the history, characters and Harry Potter universe. So, there is plenty of room for you to find your own storyline, even if you aren't caught up in the Harry Potter mania.

I'm not exactly sure if you would be interested but you said you would look at anything so here it goes! (name's ducky, btw, so hi!)
I have one site that's centered around crime tv shows like Monk, House Md, Bones, CSI and stuff. I haven't completed all the subplots yet for the site but the main plot is just everyone's connected through somebody or something or some way. All the shows' characters, even though they are in different places and different levels, can interact with each other to solve a couple of crimes that I (the admin) have provided. There are also originals with their own storyline mixed in. The activity isn't very high but that's mainly cuz we have small number of people (and most of them play at least 3 characters each ... I think I have 6, lol). It's called BOULEVARD OF BROKEN DREAMS and the link is in my siggy!
The second one is a futuristic site based on the tv show, The Tribe. It's basically about a virus that wipes out the entire adult population and now the kids are left to fend for themselves. We have canons as well as originals as well. Again, I'm revamping it up again cuz it kinda died since no one joined it back then but I've got some more people involved and hopefully it'll come back. It's called THEIR GREATEST ADVENTURE and it's also in my siggy.
If none of these are your style, don't worry about it. At least it'll entertain you for a few minutes. lol.

CAN I BELIEVE WHEN I DON’T TRUST
all your theories turn to dust
The mentally insane.
Treated like lepers by those who claim to love them, the ones who beg them to receive treatment to correct their “bent” mental state. These so-called insane persons were, at one point of their lives, average human beings and by the standards of today’s society, considered to be sane. Then something happened. Something that caused the fine structures they built their lives around, the very foundation on which they had built their lives upon, to come crashing down around their ears with a deafening noise. Suddenly, they were no longer sane; they were a danger to society and must be treated, perhaps even cured, of their “ailments”, of their insanity - to have their sanity restored.
But what is sanity? Is it a picture that’s been painted by the higher authorities, drilled into our heads over the last thousand years by those with careful hands and strategic minds? Or is it the way that everyone wishes the world to be? What if the insane are really the only sane beings on the planet and the ones who claim to be in the right mental state are truly lost, enveloped so deeply into the illusion cast around them that there is no way to draw them out? Is it possible that the ones who have escaped the clutches of sanity are on the right side of the line, the ones who have seen the light and tasted the glory of the real world? Or are they truly as crazy as society paints them to be? Are the insane really insane or have they just come to their true senses?
Welcome to City of Delusion, otherwise known as Deliramenti Asylum for the Mentally Insane. Not only is it the most prestigious mental hospital in the state of Washington, but it is quickly becoming the most popular asylum in the United States, nonetheless the Western Hemisphere. Before the fire that spread throughout the hospital, claiming two of the wings and the maximum security cells, the institution was already well known. Established in 1966 by Dr. Reginald Davenport just outside the city of Seattle, Washington, the Deliramenti Asylum for the Mentally Insane started off as a rather small hospital, consisting of only twelve patients. But as the success stories of his patients grew to be known by the public, more started to pour in through the doors. Soon, grants were received and put to good use. The asylum’s fame, as well as Dr. Davenport’s, skyrocketed and continued onward until the hospital became the place it is today, consisting of three floors and an innumerable amount of wings, wards, and rooms. It was a prestigious place, having a lovely reputation for the honest and hardworking psychologists who connected with their patients, made it their life to make sure that everyone in Deliramenti received the same treatment.
The hospital was well on its way to becoming the most recommended asylum in the United States when disaster struck. A horrible fire consumed two of the wings as well as the maximum security unit. The fire was so large, so out of control, that the entire hospital was forced to evacuate the building until the blazing fire could be extinguished. However, when the nurses and doctors were checking the roster, they noticed one very alarming thing: a good lot of the patients were missing; some of them were obviously killed in the fire, as nothing could have saved them, even if they tried, but most of the inmates managed to escape. As if the fire wasn’t the worst of their problems, it was soon discovered that almost all of the escapees were the residents of the maximum security ring, the truly twisted and deliciously insane persons who had a thirst for blood and a penchance for evil in the eyes of society.
Only a few days after the fire, Dr. Davenport dropped dead. It seemed that his death was from the forces of nature, but the fire? Oh no, the police hired to investigate the scene soon learned that the fire was intentionally set, that it was arson. But who was the arsonist and why hadn’t the information been leaked to the press? The news of the escapees already had and panic was consuming the city of Seattle; it was no wonder why the police didn’t want that sort of information available for public knowledge - imagine the effect it would have upon the city at large! Soon, Deliramenti Asylum was back in order. Though it was chaotic, all the patients had rooms to stay in and the hospital was running as smoothly as ever. Leadership of Deliramenti passed into the experienced hands of one Dr. William Korsakov, a famed Russian psychologist who could do no wrong. He seemed like the perfect fit for the Head of the Asylum. Things continued normally: patients were admitted, treated and released like clockwork. The asylum was constantly in the headlines, which only caused their fame and their fortune to skyrocket, just as it had in the early days of the establishment.
It has been a year since the fire tore through Deliramenti Asylum. There are still escapees on the run, using their clever albeit detached minds to evade capture. A task force has been established to help bring in the criminals. And it seems that the press and police force are just one step away from working together to solve the mystery of Deliramenti Asylum: everyone who is anyone knows that the fire was not an accident and that something needed to be done to round up all the escapees, who were continuously reeking havoc on Seattle, causing an inflation in crime. The only question that remains is how far are those of the press and police force willing to go to unlock the secrets behind the infamous Deliramenti Asylum for the Mentally Insane. Are they willing to risk their lives, their reputations, their sanity? One taste of delusion and you come back for more. Just take one step over the line, break the boundaries of sanity and cross into the CITY OF DELUSION. One taste of delusion and you come back for more.
DESTROY THIS CITY OF DELUSION
break these walls down, i will avenge.

A small town with about 8,000 good hard working Southern folk in it. Football Nights are like a religious holiday here. The girls pretty themselves up for a wild night of partying and sex every Tuesday and Thursday. When Monday rolls around, the kids are caught skipping to hang out at Montana’s or City Limits. Sometimes, the braver ones dare to go to McDowell’s Hole.
Twenty years ago, a program was re-introduced into Little Jimmy's perfect world. Honky Tonk Angels. An association where they took young high school students who had found themselves in trouble with the law and the harsher ways of life out of NYC into the country. There the students were placed with foster families for the year as they worked with the kids to straighten out their lives. The program still thrives today with the children of the original lifers and angels. Unfortunately much like the Little Rock, Arkansas disaster some of the folks in Little Jimmy aren't so...
Welcoming. The older families in town aren’t so welcoming towards the newcomers as some nasty words have been flying back and forth. It seems the town’s secrets of racism and prejudice seem to be leaking out at every turn. A team of low-end FBI agents has come to Little Jimmy in hopes of keeping the peace. However, can years of hatred and prejudice slip away like the wind? Or will relationships be tested and lines crossed?[/align]

People know what life at Hogwarts was like, but has anyone ever wondered what it would be like at one of the other magickal academies located around the world? Well, now is your chance to find out.
Rhiannon Academy is located just outside of the United States of America, and is the place for many of the children in that part of the world to go. It does however feel that people need to be exposed to other cultures as well, and that is why it has opened its doors to people from all countries.
It has all of the normal classes that you would think to find at a magickal academy, like potions and transfiguration and of course flying. It is a place to make friends, find love, and of course learn all about the ways of being a witch or a wizard.
This RP re-opened at the beginning of March 2008 after a short re-vamping and it has been going strong ever since. It is still a really active RP and the admins are around constantly to make sure that things continue running as smoothly as they have since then.
There is still one Professor, tons of Assistant Professors, some Academy Staff, and a few Shopkeepers still available.
What we really need are students though! We are wanting to get the Quidditch Season underway, but we need to fill the teams first. The new term has started so come and join in the fun! The headmaster is also open to suggestions for new classes and shops as well, so feel free to send him a PM if you are interested.
So join today! -

If you're mature... we want you! Here is a plot for a Twilight RP, if you don't do Twilights, that's cool too! ( :
The students of Forks High have graduated, Edward Cullen and Isabella Swan are preparing for their wedding, and the rainy little town of Forks is never going to be the same again.
As the wedding day draws ever closer, Bella's preparing herself for her transformation, determined more than ever to spend the rest of eternity with her beloved Edward. But since she learnt of Jacob's dissapearance, she can't help but want to try and reconcile with her friend. He was the one who got her through Edward leaving after all. Yet Jake wants nothing to do with her, still in mourning over the engagement even though he's come home. He's utterly sure that he's imprinted on Bella, and doesn't know how he's going to cope once the treaty is broken and she becomes a vampire. But has he really imprinted on her? Maybe that question will be answered when the Denali coven arrive in town for the wedding...
Speaking of the wolves, they've just discovered that they aren't the only wolves any longer as Sam comes across a young woman half dead in the forest surrounding the reservation. Taken back to the reservation, as soon as she recovers, she reveals herself as New York It Girl Cianna Winters. As it turns out, her family consists of a werewolf pack so huge that just her presence is placing the Quileute's in terrible danger. You see, Marcus Winters isn't known for his kindness, and the New York wolves are no strangers to killing humans, and they're determined to slaughter Cianna simply for the fact that she imprinted on a human. And word is, they've taken up residence in the town...
But not only that, the movement of vampires to Forks for the wedding has drawn a red-eyed coven to down. But it's not for the wedding that they're here. They're after Rosalie. This coven's leader is a ghost from Rosalie's terrible past that she believed perished the night she carved a bloody path through the New York Elite, took revenge on the men who left her for dead in the gutter. Anthony fought against the new born vampiress to protect Royce King, but she killed him also (or so she thinks) and since he realised what he was, he's stopped at nothing to find and destroy the woman who made him into what he is. With his coven behind him, they're going to track Rose down, and remove anyone that stands in their way to get what they want. And that includes the Cullens...
As Forks is set to become the epicentre of an all out battle between the wolves and the vampires, a vampiric Bella is going to be the least of the wolves' problems...

It wasn't world-renowned for its astounding size and lineup of overqualified teachers. In truth, it was just a man and his four students. But Bridgerton Magical Institute is proof that small steps are needed to reach that one, seemingly farfetched goal.
Taken over by Thomas Bridgerton, with his students Francesca St. Claire, Simon Thompson, William Sheffield, and Phillip Stirling, Bridgerton Magical Institute has grown over the decades, but its visions remain the same. It aims to hone wizards and witches’ magical capabilities to the fullest. Equipped with the best facilities and the best teachers, Bridgerton promises wizards and witches the best standards.
But it's tough, being a magic school in Hogwarts' backyard.
After all, how can a tiny, century-old little school compete with the one that housed the Boy Who Lived?
With the resignation of the headmaster who had been on the job for almost fifty years, Bridgerton Magical Institute had almost been pushed into obscurity. Its students? Alumni's children, whose parents have so much trust in its educational quality; those who had gone into hiding in search of someplace to stay without being found out; or simply Hogwarts rejects.
Can a new headmaster, his deputies, and the Bridgerton students keep their beloved school from dying?

after the success of the real world, mtv has decided to do something new, something huge! so the producers got together, and soon one of the producers revealed that he had been cheating on his wife, and they were going through a divorce. this confession led to the new show. "that's a great idea! the show could be called tell me your secrets!" at first, no one really liked the idea, because it was too big, but soon everyone knew it was going to be a huge hit. the producers sent some people out to every state in the united states, and hold autions for the new show. soon, they found people, and the show was soon made. the show was set to be made in los angeles, were they built a huge mansion, and called it the secret chamber. they did give credit to the people working with harry potter for the name, of course. so, now, everyone's in this huge house. boys and girls. oh, my bad, men and women. they are in this huge house. there's going to be some fights and even some romance. but everyone in america is wanting these people to *tell me your secrets.

Here's a post-Hogwarts Marauders Era rp that's just re-launched and starting out with a few active and dedicated old members as well as a growing pool of beloved newbies. ^^
The site has an interesting and increasingly more serious plot arc that deals with a period often glazed over in the rp world.
"The dawning of a new era is upon us.
New mornings bring new chances to gain the control that should be ours.
If there ever was a time to strike-quickly and at the heel of the Order-it is now.
A reign of terror shall hail down upon this world like that which has never been seen, and the likes of which shall never be known again.
1955 was only the beginning."January 1979. The decade with which the Marauder's have grown comfortable is drawing rapidly to a close, and so is the common state of the world. Even those who claim neutrality are in danger of execution at the hands of the Dark Lord; indecisiveness is no longer a shield. The curses from such evil wands-brandished like swords-rain down upon the human and wizarding worlds like nothing seen before. And it has only just begun.
"So long as there is one of us strong enough to fight, our cause shall not perish.
Only in surrender do we find defeat, and only in despair do we find loss.
There is the one thing that we have that the Death Eaters can never-we have hope.
Death is not the final answer, and there are some things in this world worth fighting for.
There are some things in this world worth dying for."As the Dark Lord and his potent forces encroach on the boundaries of peaceful society, it becomes evident that what once was can no longer be. No one may be out of it-the cowards will lay slain with the brave, punished for their apathy. Sides must be chosen; for only in the knowledge of one's place can true power arise. Some may choose on moral fiber and ethics, while others will rely on fear and peer pressure. Some yet will not know until the very end. Even more, all the while-some will be traitors. Some can never be trusted at all.
No longer is the fight contained within the boundaries of the Britain alone.
For evil can never be contained.
With the war barraging all of Eurasia, no one is safe.
Crashing like waves on the shore of every nation, no matter the history.
Everyone shall be recruited.Voldemort is violently pressing on, and so is the extent of his grasp. The evil slits of his eyes seem to glower over every country: England, Scotland, Wales, Ireland, France, Germany, Poland, Italy, Greece...so long as there are people there, there shall be his evil presence, and there shall be good to combat it. There shall be a war. From all over Europe, wizards are flocking...battles are being fought. England is the primary frontier...but the tides are changing.
In the end, you will be stripped of your wealth.
Nationality, blood, social status-it all will mean nothing.
All that will remain is the principles on which you stood.
The friendships that you made, the company with which you kept.
The voracity with which you loved, the passion with which you abhorred.Where will you stand?
Good?
Evil?
The gray area is diminishing. A decision must be made.

RELIGION!
"BLIMEY," said Harry Potter, shoveling another forkful of Molly Weasley's fried egg and bacon omlette into his mouth. "Blimey, Ginny, I think we've really got it right this time!"
Ginny blew out an exasperated sigh from where she stood at the kitchen sink of the Burrow, scrubbing dishes. "You don't have to be ready for a meeting with the Bulgarian ambassador in fifteen minutes," she answered crossly. "He's quite daft, and he doesn't speak much English, and it's all really frustrating."
Harry shook his head. "But you're the Minister of Magic!" he pointed out. "You've got all this power. And I feel much cleaner now that I'm out of the position. I think this was a really good idea."
"What?" Ginny asked hotly, putting a few dishes in a cupboard. "You had a halfway-conscious, surrealistic epiphany the moment you won the war, and now you've gone and tried to make it into organized prayer? You think that's a good idea? You've gone bonkers, Harry."
Harry wasn't even listening. "It's wondrous, it's glorious! We're responsible for saving the souls of millions of people!" he cried. "Eminence is beautiful."
Ginny raised her eyebrows. "I don't trust it," she said candidly. "It's too happy. Religion shouldn't be happy. There's something wrong with a religion that's so happy."
Harry flashed her a beatific smile. "Come on, you know that you love being worshipped as the superior sex. Whatever happened to the fiery feminist with the poster of Gwenog Jones in her room?"
Ginny sighed. "It's still there. Damn you."
"You can't damn me, there's no hell to damn me to now. Care for a pancake?"
-
Harry Potter has found religion. Eminence gives complete power to females of all ages. Harry himself, Minister of Magic, stepped down from his position and bestowed it upon his wife, Ginny Potter. Eminence is spreading like wildfire - women like it because it's finally an opportunity to flourish in dominance, and men love it because they're required to quit their jobs and stay home with the children, and they're forbidden to do any important housework lest they sully something. There is no hell, there is only a heaven, and there are no prayers, there are only songs.
Of course, there is the matter that everyone who converts to Eminence willfully tends to become a bit loony, slightly off their rocker, just a little left or right of center. But why worry about the future, when you can have bliss, happiness, and unconditional forgiveness in the here and now?
SCANDAL!
""BLIMEY," said Draco Malfoy, fluttering through the Daily Prophet. "Cornelius Fudge and Rufus Scrimgeour were married on Thursday."
Astoria tutted as she flipped through the Quibbler. "It says here that Sacharissa Tugwood, the inventor of that beauty potion that you bought me last Christmas, has killed herself. They think it's got something to do with that man she was accused of killing a couple of months ago. The one who turned up two weeks later, without a clue as to where he had been. What was his name? Wood?"
"Oliver Wood," Draco agreed, and then his eyes widened. "What the hell? The Dark Ladies: Unmasked and Unforgivable? They're making spinoffs of Lord Voldemort?"
"Percy and Arthur Weasley are in Azkaban?" Astoria exclaimed in surprise. "For what?"
"Trying to break into Gringotts, apparently, although they're denying it thoroughly," Draco answered thoughtfully.
"Shush, you two!" shouted Scorpius from the living room, where he was plopped in front of a Muggle television. "Bellatrix has just found out that she's pregnant, but she's not sure whether the baby is Harry's or Voldemort's!"
-
The wizarding world is running amok. Former Ministers of Magic are hooking up and running off to the south of France for their honeymoons. People are disappearing for weeks at a time, and waking up again in their own beds with no recollection of the time they'd been away. Upstanding citizens are being accused of crimes they didn't commit, but the evidence is stacking up against them. Sitcoms and soap operas are mocking the drama, and stirring up trouble in the minds of the people.
Everyone's restless, anxious for somebody to come out and explain the unexplainable. And everyone is frightened that they might be the latest victim in this horrifying chain of strange and unfortunate events.
POLITICS!
"BLIMEY," screamed Hermione Weasley, running back into the house that she shared with Ron. "The Ministry has gone mad! Ginny's trying to control it, but nobody's listening to her!"
Ron strode out, holding their one-month-old baby on his hip. "What's going on?" he inquired, concerned.
"Some people are saying that the Ministry of Magic has been re-infested by Death Eaters, and that the heir to Voldemort is at Hogwarts. Wizengamot has decided to try every single student that's currently at the school, starting in September." Her eyes were stinging with tears. "What about Hugo?" she mourned. "What about Rose? They're imprisoning anybody who's even remotely suspected! What if they take our children?"
Ron shook his head, a steely edge tinging his glare. "I won't let them, Hermione," he said fiercely, shifting the baby's weight. "We'll take them to Ireland if Wizengamot calls them. Come September, they'd better be left alone, or we're withdrawing them from Hogwarts and moving."
Hermione nodded silently, biting her lip. "All right," she agreed finally. "I suppose we'll wait and see what happens."
-
Someone in the Ministry of Magic seems to think that Lord Voldemort's reincarnation is attending the Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. The Wizengamot has taken up the challenge of calling in students, one by one, to be thoroughly investigated and interrogated for any suspicious activity. Slytherins bear the brunt of the blame, but nobody is exempt from the Wizengamot's subpeonas. And if the court has even the slightest bit of doubt, then you're facing at least a week cooling your heels with the dementors, subjected to various painful tests to make sure that you're not Tom Riddle reborn.
Parents everywhere are on their toes, ready to whisk their children away if Wizengamot calls them. Nobody at the school is feeling quite safe. And, of course, there's always the lingering question. What if Wizengamot is right?
