Title: Seven Deadly Sins Vs. Seven Cardinal Virtues

Maple - July 1, 2008 02:30 AM (GMT)
Genre: I'm looking for a type of genre that involves physical manifestations of the seven deadly sins and/or seven cardinal virtues.

Difficulty: Intermediate-advanced

Type(s) of Creature(s): Humans and/or the sins/virtues personified. I suppoe angels and or demons would probably fit too.

Preferred Rating: PG-13

Preferred Number of Members/Activity: Well, the number of members don't matter as much to me, if it's just starting up, but when it does get going it should have at least 14, but hopefully no more than 30. As long as the members are active, I'll be happy, but really a site depends on the activity of it's admin and other leaders. If the admin loses interest or isn't there enough, that's when a site tends to die.

Preferred Time where RPG is set in: I think I'd prefer modern, but if there's any site at all like this, probably any time period will be fine.

Other Notes: I've been RPing for six years now, and I really enjoy it. I hope there's a site out there. I'm also hoping that the site allows members to create it's own character around the particular vice/virtue.

Thanks

we're a no application board based around the seven deadly sins attending a boarding school in pennsylvania, usa. we don't have virtues but loads of fun!

THE SEVEN
a boarding school rpg centered
around the seven deadly sins

in 1808, seven friends founded a school just outside amherst, massachusetts.
sebastian delaterre, jane prescott, alexander carmichael, mary monroe, jacob
lancaster, john drake, and thomas hamilton came together and created gregory
academy, a place to educate all the eager young minds around the great united
states. it gained a reputation as the best school in the nation, and soon enough
it was catering to the children of the rich and famous from all over the world.
they all thought there was no place for the academy to go but up. that is, until
the seven founders died in rapid succession, one after another. delaterre died
proving himself in a bet, prescott was shot by her husband during a fight, then
carmichael's lovers got out of hand, monroe committed suicide because she
couldn't be happy, lanacaster was caught stealing from the president and beaten
to death, drake died alone of laziness, and hamilton drank himself to death.

everyone went into mourning, and the seven houses on campus were renamed
in their honors. and as soon as the new markers were installed and the change
made official, the students of each house began to act strange. they began to
act like the founder of their house had been acting before they died. and it took
awhile, but someone finally figured it out: each house's students carried the curse
of one of the seven deadly sins: delaterre became pride, prescott became wrath,
carmichael became lust, monroe became envy, lancaster became greed, drake
became sloth, and finally hamilton had the curse of gluttony. as new students
joined, they were always put into the house they best fit. and if they didn't fit?
well before they knew it they had begun to exhibit their house's sin. needless to
say, not all was well. the houses were fighting at every turn, and each year the
competitions became more and more elaborate. and once you're in it, you can't
get out. no questions asked. you're powerless. you're one of the seven.
