Title: Mr. Stab Needs Another Home For A Character!
Description: They're breeding! IT'S OUT OF CONTROL!
Mr Stabs - June 30, 2008 03:21 AM (GMT)
Alright, I'll admit that my last drive for a place for my character didn't turn out so well. But lets hope there's a place for this one!
Genre: Any, but this particular character leans towards the action-y side. Keep that in mind.
Difficulty: Intermediate to advanced
Type(s) of Creature(s): Human, but will play with all other kinds of races
Preferred Rating: PG-13-NC-17
Preferred Number of Members/Activity: The more the better, but the board has to get a post a day overall to catch my interest.
Preferred Time where RPG is set in: Here's the thing, the character I am envisioning is a Modern character. However, that doesn't mean the setting has to be! If you don't mind a time/dimensional displaced character, I'm willing to accept just about any setting.
Other Notes:
Meet Casey Walters. Just a normal young woman, livin' her life. Sure, she wasn't too gifted in the looks department, or the brains department, or the social department or... any department really. But she has one thing that most other people don't.
A kickin' rad skin-tight mechanical (magical) suit! Awww yeah!
Casy's power armor (Magic, Technology, whatever. I'm willing to alter the suit's origin and power source to fit the board) grants better physical attributes, resistance to mind effects and generates electricity. She has a little device/magic artifact that summons the armor from wherever it's kept. And what do you do with power armor? That's right, beat up criminals and other folks that are up to no good!
So yeah, she's basically a power ranger. But that doesn't mean she's an interesting character!
The RPG must keep power balance between the players, or have related rules. Seriously, this is the reason I can't just toss her onto a marvel/dc board. Wouldn't fit in with Dr. Strange. No 'play anything you want' boards.
No boards that require you to have an avatar or visual representation of some sort. My brain is incompatible with with those things. Sorry.

Okay, so, you've mentioned she wouldn't fit in with a Marvel board... um, can I beg to differ, pretty please? :p She'd definitely fit in with Mana4X2, especially if you made the origin of her suit technology based. We have Captain Britain, who also has such a suit, albeit with different abilities present, lol.
As for a balance in powers, we don't really have a limit, however, each one has to have a weakness related, and also be connected by something. As for an avatar... hun, we can make one for you, and even help you pick out a persona to represent her. Anyways, check us out, and wishing you the best in finding a place for Casey.
Cheers,
Mana

A lot has happened over the course of time, strength and growth clearly seen, as a new school year will inevitably bring more of the usual danger a resident of Xavier’s School for Gifted Youngsters often faces. It seriously doesn’t help that Magneto‘s decision to open a new school of his own has seen many new mutants drawn to the Master of Magnetism's ideals. The Brotherhood Superiorum continues to grow strong, however, it's about to become no longer a school. Erik Magnus Lensherr cannot continue to inculcate his anti human ideals into the next generation if he has to constantly be looking after the duties being Principle entails! No, it's time to simplify things so he can once again focus solely on the dream that mutants WILL one day reign supreme! Who really wants to take sides though? Who really cares about either of their ideals? If that sounds like you, then DME is where you belong. Mana4X2's own concept created faction, Damien-Myne Enterprises, stretches over several cities, with its main office in New York City. Your boss is Colin Damien Myne, AKA Boilmet, founder and owner of this Freelance faction;; he offers you great accommodation, excellent pay, and the freedom to do whatever you want… Cross him, though, and your life won’t be worth living! Boilmet will do whatever it takes to make sure nothing gets in the way of furthering his business… NOTHING, not even you. And then there is talk that the FoH is working on something to eradicate mutant kind. Will they succeed? Who knows, because only time will tell… ** Words of wisdom say, "Choose your associates carefully, yet choose them, for, there may come a time when your very survival will depend on it."

Oooh, maybe you'd like us. Check us out! <3
-------

Las Vegas is where anything goes, and everything stays. All the secret affairs, gambling, it's where people go for time to just have 'fun'. But then, there's always cheaters to this system and sometimes, it's not always fun for everyone else.
Casino: Fatale is a Literate To Advanced roleplay forum about transparant societies underneath all the lights, and the fancy colors that Las Vegas holds. Two teams, FALCON, and RAVEN, oppose each other in pure hatred for one another, or at least, their leaders due to beliefs about the way things should be run. Main mission? To destroy one's organization before the other destroys yours. Some may think it's simple, and each group puts the main goal as 'Protecting Vegas'.
But there's more to the story than a simple fight and protect scenario. It goes into a deep history between the leaders of each team, and the original goal that both teams shared. Differences create enemies, and now you must decide on where your loyalties lie. And is what you're fighting for truely noble?

Re: Mana
I really mean that my brain is incompatible. Any avatar I have has to match my mental image of a character [i]exactly[/] or it will bug me until I don't want to play anymore. So unless you've got an artist on staff who will draw (no celeb/real person will do) to my monsterous specifications, or let me use a symbol or something estoric like that, I'm going to have to decline.
Re: Littlerikku
Hey, looks interesting! If you're willing to bend that little avatar rule for me I'll start a bio.

Might not be what you are looking for but the board is open to trying anything and we have a few out there plots already so maybe you will see something that catchs your eyes :D
Welcome to Carson City, a place where anything can happen. Spies have brought their families here for safekeeping and to live a normal life. Mobsters and former juvenile delinquents turned working stiffs and famous writers have done the same. Wealthy young playboys and girls have come to town with the goal of increasing the social economy of Carson City, Nevada. Have you ever had a character that just won’t leave you’re head and you just have to find out what happens to them in the end?
Come find out in Carson, rather you’re character is a teenager, 20-something, even old and doddering we welcome you. Meet the crazy new folks that have come to town. If you’re a beginner in the rpg world or you’ve been doing it for years, everyone is welcome. You have a plot you want to play out but can’t find enough people to play it out with you just post it here and we’ll find a way for you to get your wish.

Ah, I see. Well, I think we can manage that. We do prefer real persona images, however one of the characters has The Prince of Persia as their avatar, and Apoc is still the comic image. I will look into someone to draw her image for you though. I do believe we have a couple artists, one on staff, and one a member.
Either way, a real persona image isn't essential, just preferred... hope that can sway ya. If you do decide to join, post up a request in the Graphics Studio, and I'll see what I can do for ya ^_^.
Cheers,
Mana

Re: Mana. Alright, I'll poke around and see if it's a good fit first. Thanks!
Re: ameliakate
Er, it's not a fit at all. Your board seems to be a real life board and my character is not real life at all. I'm willing to alter my character a fair bit to match boards but the whole Power Ranger thing is integral to her.
