Title: Looking For A Certain Something-
Description: of the slash variety, no doubt.

sin_personified - June 29, 2008 07:29 AM (GMT)

'Allo all. So, who wants a lovely little new member on their board?

Genre: Slash Romance added in there somewhere. Real Life, Boarding School, things of that sort. Urban Modern with a few supernatural twists would be lovely.

Difficulty: Er- I'd rather prefer to play with fellow advanced roleplayers, if that's what thats supposed to mean.

Type(s) of Creature(s): Alll things supernatural are fine with me as long as it's in a modern urban setting. However, no anthro or furries if you please.

Preferred Rating: R, thanks. I'm use to mature roleplaying and I curse like a sailor. So, this is a pretty important factor.

Preferred Number of Members/Activity: As long as it isn't a total ghost board and has a few talented members, the rest is gravy baby.

Preferred Time where RPG is set in: Modern, please. :3

Other Notes: Like I said, advanced and slash. Those are the two keywords.
Oh, and none of that celebrity roleplay nonsense. The only fandom that I dabble in is Harry Potter.

i've got the perfect one for you! ok, so i'm a little biased but yeah. it's a male boarding school in indiana and it's hella fun! we're advanced, rated r and filled with interesting characters. we're a no app board which is even better, lol. you just register, claim your face and grade and you're good to go!

hot addiction ‘
right below lake michigan, located in indiana, is gary, a relatively
small town home to the windsor academy for boys. the school is
just like every other boarding school around. sex, drugs and scandal
are what people expect when they send their sons there, not that
they would admit to thinking that. in the brochure for the school,
windsor highlights the high grades and well educated teachers that
are at the school, trying to make it so that the focus is away from
why the boys actually want to go there. they don’t see the teachers
as smart, they see them as hot, and the scandals that have been
known to happen between the two group of people have been
amazing. that doesn’t even begin to go over the secrets that the
student body has with each other. by the end of your senior year
more likely than not you would have been seduced by an upper
classman. its not uncommon to find yourself becoming someone’s
hot addiction.

•• RULES | CANON LIST | MODEL CLAIM | SUPPORT CENTER | ADVERTISE ••

At this very moment, there are nearly 7 billion lives being led today.
That is 7 billion lifestyles, thoughts, breaths, decisions, plans, mistakes, and hearts.
It is impossible to keep track of every second of every life and every death, but we can try.

toronto, canada.
The Church and Wellesley neighborhood is one of Canada’s most vibrant communities. Because of it's diverse atmosphere, the neighborhood draws in a fair share of activity and has a growing number of residents. As with any community, it is both a struggle and a pleasure to call it home. Though, the general message, one that you'll pick up on almost instantly, is no matter where you're from, or how you happened upon Church and Wellesley, you're welcomed. It's just that behavior, the indiscriminate kindness and underlying sense of safety, that has drew in so many lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender residents. Needless to say, it's a welcomed place to just be yourself, despite sexuality, and never have to worry about what the next person has to say because, nine times out of ten, they're going through the exact same thing.

However, life isn't all rainbows, even though you my mistake it as so, considering the amount of rainbow flags, with pride, hanging up around town. There are some residents who are struggling to come to terms with who they are, and their life directions, in various ways, some which can go unnoticed without a closer look like, a person struggling with the loss of a lover after an emotionally defeating battle with a well-known illness, or a mother of a child turned down for parental rights, just because they aren't biologically related. There's even a person, one out of an overwhelming million, coming to terms with gender identity and how their outward appearance just doesn't seem to match.

Church and Wellesley is where people go to start anew and to forget old troubles. It is a community where pride is of the utmost importance, no matter what, who, or where you are. It is a community where hope springs eternal and dreams never die.

You might like St. Ambrose. We're a little slow since we just opened, though. Here's the plot...

Let’s take a look at the world today, shall we? All over the planet, there are humans who were born with abilities that aren’t all that normal and there are those who weren’t born human at all. The human population is widely ignorant of their existence and pretty much everyone wants to keep it that way. So what do you do with all the little gifted ones running around without control of their respective powers?

To help such youngsters, there are numerous schools that cater to their unique needs. They operate in secret, molding young minds and giving students a nurturing environment in which to develop and control their abilities.

Okay, that’s all fine and dandy, but what if you get expelled? It used to be the end of the story. Once one school got rid of a kid, they were blacklisted and couldn’t attend any other. This situation usually ended badly for the one that got expelled since most never gained control over their ability and there are a many gifted people and non-humans alike that take great pains to keep their little world secret.

What if they never accepted you at all? There are those who were born with abilities others thought were just too dangerous to be allowed in their precious school. Or abilities they just didn’t know how to handle. These children were turned away, often meeting the same fate as expelled students.

Things changed in the late 70’s, though, thanks to a gifted man who managed to survive after being expelled from his abnormal school. And so St. Ambrose School for Wayward Boys came into being, its purpose being to take in any and all of those who were rejected from other schools no matter the reason. Due to this fact, the school is often called:

St. Ambrose School for the Damaged, Deranged, and Strange

We'd love to have you there!

We started in Rent fandom, post canon, but in the past two years, we've developed into an RL game based in New York which happens to have the canons from that fandom running about. . . You don't need to know a thing about the musical or the movie, since the characters are just characters, nothing more. We're grown up, decent writers, and friendly as can be. Have a look. The banner in my sig's the link.

QUOTE
You're living in America at the end of the millennia. . . and you're not alone.
Alphabet City
We're in the year 1996 and the colorful residents of the East Village in Manhattan are facing the issues which challenge poor Bohemian artists in the mid-90s. Drug abuse, HIV, prostitution, starvation, death, life, and love. However, they find that they aren't alone, friends are all around, and there is always coffee to be drunk, issues to be discussed, and art to be created, good and otherwise. Come join our cast of canon and original characters, featuring a strong sense of community and creativity and find that you're not alone either.
Other notes:Based on the Broadway musical RENT, set post-canon, though slightly AU to keep Angel alive. We have evolved and changed over the past two years from a fandom RP to a RL RP with some fandom characters.  We are lucky to have a great group of OCs who are keeping the plot moving and changing quickly, and we always welcome new writers and OCs with open arms.
We also have a brand new board!  It's pretty and blue and still has that new board smell!!  Come see.  It's pwetty!!!

We're a Harry Potter roleplay and despite always trying to keep things equal, my sites always seem to end up a bit slashy. :D

>> A Turn Of Events <<

The night was cold and dark, yet there was no way out of taking part in the third task. Cedric Diggory had a bad feeling about this, which only grew as the task continued. He knew things couldn’t go too badly wrong, however, thanks to a potion he’d been given before he started - he thought it was just a strengthening solution. However, when the Dark Lord’s curse flew towards him, and he then awoke in the school several hours later, he realised it had converted ‘Avada Kedavra’ into living death… what on earth was going on?

One year later, the potion found its way into Sirius Black’s coffee on the morning of the Ministry battle. At the same moment as the ‘Avada Kedavra’ curse hit him, another bolt of light threw him backwards away from the veil. Mysteriously, he awoke in the main hall of the Ministry, alive and only slightly dazed. Where had this potion come from, and who was spreading it around?

Now, at the start of Harry’s sixth year, the Order are determined to get hold of the potion’s creator, as it could prove invaluable in the fight against Voldemort. However, with the creator unaware that his potion even works, this could prove a lot more difficult than it first appears. The Dark Lord knows about the potion and is also trying to get hold of it.

Who will find it?

Whose side are you on?

Welcome to St. Tristan's School for Girls. EXCEPT it's not just for girls anymore.
St. Tristan's has been forced to merge with a nearby all boy school Karl Emery's
Academy for Young Men. Karl Emery's hasn't been doing too well do to low
enrollment. They were forced to fire all their staff and now only the Headmaster
follows the boys to St. Tristans. St. Tristan's isn't your ordinary school for girls.
There are many quirks about this school from the girls to the Headmaster. The
girls are all very different from one another and there are many cliques, but they
all get along. The older girls might look crazy, but you haven't met the first, second
and third years yet. These girls don't want Karl Emery's to merge with them. They
want their school to stay the way it is. Karl Emery's boys aren't all different like the
girls are. They're stuck up and annoying to these girls. The only boys they really
want around are their Headmaster, Science teacher and two townies that come in
once in a while. These kids are learning some academics, but mostly they're learning
about life. That is what these teacher are there for.
