Title: Looking For Some [marvel Universe] Action

Kitty Quixotic - June 28, 2008 11:41 PM (GMT)
Genre: Marvel Universe/Super Hero (It can be a Marvel/DC crossover too, but I'm mostly concerned with the Marvel.)
Difficulty: Intermediate or advanced.
Type(s) of Creature(s): Marvel universe kinds.
Preferred Rating: Teen to mature.
Preferred Number of Members/Activity: I'm not picky, just so long as it isn't on the verge of dying. xD
Preferred Time where RPG is set in: Modern day.

Other Notes: I need a forum where either Peter Parker or Tony Stark are available for play. So, this probably means it would have to be new-ish, but just as long as I could play one of them I'm good.

Thank you very much, and I really hope that such a site exists. xD

You could check out my site. It is DC/Marvel and is an intermediate modern day RPG. Unfortunaly neither Tony or Peter are available, thought characters like Wolverine, Cyclops, and Iceman are. Several are, but not those two. if you decide not to join my site for that reason, you should check out the Advertisements section there, you are bound to find something.

The Story
World War I was to be the war to end all wars. World War II wasn’t even viewed as a worldwide struggle until the United States entered it December 8, 1941. Even then the government heavily relied on beings that held enough power to level a tank without even batting a lash. Decades have passed since the United States managed to end the terrible war, the war that left everyone across the globe with a bitter taste in their mouth.

Yet, in a world that both condones and loathes those that are not exactly perceived as normal, the tension that seemed to always bubble beneath the surface finally found its way to the top. Nations across the globe were suddenly bearing arms, threatening a global meltdown if demands were not met. When the nuclear missiles were brought into the equation, everything seemed to turn against the people that inhabited this planet.

The United States, ever dominant in holding the reins as the world’s greatest Super Power, quickly called on the one group of people that could bring an end to the war that had already cost millions, if not billions, of lives: Superhumans.

Those gifted with special abilities that had either been feared or revered were suddenly asked to choose a side, to either use their abilities for the so-called greater good or to be considered a traitor. Many took up the role with pride, and thus The Untouchables were born. Public reaction was split; many supported the heroes, but a great majority resented them.

A year of bloodshed has passed, leaving the world struggling to shake off the dust of a war that seems to have left its mark on every single person in one way, shape, or form. Now, as the heroes return from a war that everyone would rather choose to deny, where will their lives go? They cannot simply pick up where they left off, as nothing seems to be the way that it was before World War III, the darkest battle that has ever shadowed the globe.

It is up you you to rebuild, to rehabilitate the world’s depleted sources. The time has come for The Untouchables to re-enter society and choose a stance in the battle that is already brewing. When the Turning of the World happens, which side will you be on?

The Beginning - June 29, 2008 06:25 AM (GMT)
My board is exclusively X-MEN. However, you can can create original characters. The board is set just after the end of the first movie (Don't worry, we are not following the movie plots at all ^^)

Humanity is in a constant metamorphosis, however the basis of human nature stays constant. The truth is grim, for humans fear what they cannot understand, what they cannot control. What was once lost, can never be recoverd, for the innocence of many has diminished. Darkness swallows many, and rare are the times of salvation, of light. After the events at Liberty Island many witnesses the horror of the world, that something beyond their control and understanding.

The past conflict upon Ellis Island has brought various consequences. The Government marches onto the scene, issuing more control concerning Xavier's Institute for Gifted Youngsters. Emma Frost, a successful business woman and entrepreneur, is offered the position as Headmistress. Miss Frost has many surprises for the group of students, who no longer would be able to be an independent force and openly fight the remaining members of the brotherhood

The great wheels are ever turning, each event pushing forward and effecting each one in turn. A series of small events would be essential to make the Brotherhood to come back more powerful and terrible than ever. They will leave humanity in tears. Humanity will never be the same again, and the question is if Humanity is in need of a change at all? Chaos upon chaos, but the changes are inevitable, or is it just evolution? Will the X-MEN be able to stop the events that will cause
‘the butterfly effect’?...

Heya Kitty,

We're strictly X-Men at the moment too, however, we might consider allowing other Marvel Characters in the future. If we do, even though unfortunately someone else already has dibs on Ironman, Spiderman can be all yours.

Anyways, we are PG-13 rated and over four years old, so there is no chance of us dying on you anytime soon. Check us out.

A lot has happened over the course of time, strength and growth clearly seen, as a new school year will inevitably bring more of the usual danger a resident of Xavier’s School for Gifted Youngsters often faces. It seriously doesn’t help that Magneto‘s decision to open a new school of his own has seen many new mutants drawn to the Master of Magnetism's ideals. The Brotherhood Superiorum continues to grow strong, however, it's about to become no longer a school. Erik Magnus Lensherr cannot continue to inculcate his anti human ideals into the next generation if he has to constantly be looking after the duties being Principle entails!

No, it's time to simplify things so he can once again focus solely on the dream that mutants WILL one day reign supreme!

Who really wants to take sides though? Who really cares about either of their ideals? If that sounds like you, then DME is where you belong. Mana4X2's own concept created faction, Damien-Myne Enterprises, stretches over several cities, with its main office in New York City. Your boss is Colin Damien Myne, AKA Boilmet, founder and owner of this Freelance faction;; he offers you great accommodation, excellent pay, and the freedom to do whatever you want…

Cross him, though, and your life won’t be worth living! Boilmet will do whatever it takes to make sure nothing gets in the way of furthering his business… NOTHING, not even you.

And then there is talk that the FoH is working on something to eradicate mutant kind. Will they succeed?

Who knows, because only time will tell…

I think you might like this one! It's a MarvelxDC site. And you can even make your own Original character.

When the world watches as evil begins to rise there is no hope. The heroes they thought were once their saviors are now viewed as lifeless and weak. What can the world turn to when superheroes are not enough to battle the forces that drive many into hiding and fear? The government has decided to take control of the founding defenses in America as well as the rest of the world with the help of the World Nations. This is unfortunate news for every community that has always had something gifted about them. Superheroes and villains alike are affected. Two new acts of registration, the Mutant Registration Act and the Superhero Registration Act has given reason for many to flee in terror of the government's ruling, changing their faces and lives to something other than super.

Around the world there are still countries that many can go to that are considered safe from the prejudice that is sweeping the globe. Superheroes are no longer seen around as much and if they are kill orders are issued to deal with them. Criminals of all varieties, from the dastardly to the highly malicious are kept under close surveillance, with many having their own files in the computer networks of the world authorities.

The Strategic Homeland Intervention, Enforcement, and Logistics Division, or S.H.I.E.L.D. has met its own tragedy; though only at secret. Obadiah Stane, one of the many enemies that Tony Stark of Stark, Industries faces nearly on a regular basis, has managed to gain control of the foundation of S.H.I.E.L.D. With the help of a secret liaison and scientist, Obadiah has nearly all members of the division under his control through thought alone. A few still stand as independent though play along to hide what they know and that they are capable of rational and intelligent thought. They are still holding on to their free will, but that may not last long.

Stark Industries, once a powerful weapons and environmental manufacturer has been shut down thanks to a Weapons Manufacturing Embargo placed upon the weapons division by the government. Obadiah Stane, through a series of vast control and blackmail, has managed to take control of that particular division, building his own company, called Stane Enterprises, since Stark Industries was taken out of commission nearly three years before. Proudly he builds the greatest weapon the world has ever seen: the Sentinel.

The mutants of the X-Men and Brotherhood have finally come to terms with something that is bigger than either could fathom. Every superhero and even a few villains have found the reason to put aside their differences and moral standings and work as allies...at least for now. Any and all protest and fight for their right to live and save the world, much as they did in times past. Tony Stark, with the help of James Madrox of S.H.I.E.L.D., has decided to assemble some of the most upstanding members of the normal community as well as the hero community, in order to appeal for the bans to be lifted.

Without heroes...evil arises. Time is of the essence, as the forces of darkness grow stronger every day they are loose to roam. Indeed, something wicked this way comes...

The American dream seemed far fetched and unrealistic for a lot of people, but for some, it was firm in their grasp...and it was bowing to their will. One of the most prominent was Lex Luthor.

Three years previously, Lex had developed a virus; a mutant and metahuman killing disease known as the "L-Virus". Along the way, lives were snatched away from innocent people, due to the chaotic, paranoid mind of one buissness tycoon, but some survived, and were set on revenge.

Batman, known to most as the 'Dark Knight', normally spending most of his time in the recluse of the night; hunting petty criminals and tangling with The Joker, stumbled upon an opportunity. Bruce Wayne, the alter ego, a Billionare one at that, provised that the inter-dimensional time stream could be filtered and manipulated to travel through time using machinery, using the intelligence of one man. He was right. Bruce set to work, while ooutside, people were dying rapidly due to an ever growing exposure to the L-Virus. It was a race against the clock. Determination prevailed.

The Justice Lords (an alternate time version of the Justice League) were bought to this time. The Justice Lords had already lived through one L-Virus epidemic and conquered it. It seemed that only their help would save this world now.

And help it did. With the Justice Lords' aid, and a futuristic antidote, the L-Virus was eradicated, and couldn't bring harm to Super Humans or Mutants any longer.

Of course, it didn't stop there.

The year is 2013, and this is Colourblind.
