Title: Agitated With My Help...

Brandy - June 27, 2008 05:42 AM (GMT)
Ok...so, I have a board, and for the second time, we have had to revamp. And we currently have a great idea that I think a lot of people will flock to...There's just one problem.

My one co-admin has done nothing to help me these past few days...

I don't know what to do...we have members hanging in the wind, and our board has been in maintenence mode for 2 days now. I understand that she is busy....but she has logged on these past few days, and not mentioned a thing she likes/dislikes about the site. Even though I asked. Because, like a nice root admin, I decided to ask. I have been making what I now call 'executive decisions' without the aid of my co-admin, whom I supposedly share power with, and have no idea what she likes or dislikes...

~Edited out~

And to top it all of, she can become an annoying, hateful person sometimes...Heaven forbid anyone change the plot on her while she's gone, she becomes like a werewolf, she'll tear their throats out. I don't know WHAT to do...

On one hand, she's my friend's friend, like a friend to me, whom I care about, and am afraid of hurting her feelings. On the other hand, she is seriously getting detrimental to my board. BADLY...and she has admitted to honestly knowing NOTHING of the basis to the new board.

What do I do?!?! HELP!!!! x.x

She's doing things to your board that you don't like. YOUR board. If you don't like it, you should get rid of her as admin. Offer to keep her on as a mod or something, perhaps, where she can't do so much damage?

If you think she'll fly off the handle when you tell her and do something to the board, demote her into one of the member groups BEFORE you tell her, then the worst she can do is a few spam posts you can delete.

if i were you, i'd move her to mod for a while, explain the situation to the other board, and carry on with what you think is best.

Yeah. I agree with them. It's your board. Explain that you either need her around to help or you can't have her as your co-admin. It sucks, yeah. But it's the members that you gotta please, not just one person.
