I've been tricked, deceived, fooled and now I am annoyed out of my mind.

I accidently downloaded a program called "adzgalore". I accidently clicked an ad on a dodgy site, which instantly started a download, and my computer doesn't block these things (it does now) and since my computer downloads so fast it was done in about 5 seconds before I knew what was happening.

Now, every minute or so, a popup appears, then disappears, which means if I am typing something, everything I type after the popup appears doesn't go down.

I can't touch type, but now I wish I had learnt.

I went to add and remove programs, but the popup thing is still going, but the popup appears for half a second then deletes itself. But it still interupts my typing!

I hate adzgalore...

I'd be less concerned about my typing getting interrupted than I would about adware. Run some adware/spyware cleanup program like Adaware, and make sure that your virus software is up to date.

Download it, run an update through the programme and do a full scan. It'll take a while but it's very thorough :)

It's a really old ad program apparently, because it's sending me ads to buy "brand new" music tracks (from the 90s). So I'm not too worried it will do anything too awful to my computer.

Depending on your internet usage, run it once a week. Once a day if you never turn your PC off. Just because you can't see it, doesn't mean it isn't there.
