I have recently re-vamped my site, and got rid of my old announcment box and was thinking of using a sidebar, but I can't get my hands on a good code.

Any suggestions/help?

I only need the basics. A box for member spotlight, awards, plot links and that sort of thing. Nothing too fancy. If you have a fancy one all the better, but for now anything will do :lol:
