It's been over a month since I posted my RPG-D submission for Aftermagic. I read in the rules I can bump the thread now, but how do I do that? Thanks!
You bump your thread by making another post in it, typically saying something like "bump." The letters stand for "bring up my post."
Thank you for that insanely interesting explanation Upsilamba, but next time please leave this up to the staff as we can better explain this stuff. It's not just a simple matter of bumping.
To come back to you Rebecca. Your advertisement is currently still located in the submissions forum (yes we have a backlog). Bumping your topic won't help anything, at least not if you want it to bump it back to the top of the page. As topics in the submissions area are sorted on posting date (not date of last reply thingy).
However, after your advertisement gets sorted, you can bump the topic once per month (and not a day earlier XD). And then it's better to bump it with some sort of update isntead of the word 'bump' as that always seems a little unprofessional. You might want to update that reply with some statistics, new plots, sub-plots etc. (but that's of course just a suggestions ;))
Hope that anwsers all your questions!
Oh! I'm sorry, ShinLi, I just said *bump* in a reply. If someone can delete that if it's not too much of a hassle, I'd appreciate that. My site may not be Advanced, but I still don't want to be unprofessional at all. Or annoying...
I'll reply there that we just had our 900th post. :D
