I can meet: Sci-Fi, Intermediate, Humans (and some sentient species), newer site, future time.
.:Star Wars Dark Times:.The year is 60 ABY...
During the aftermath of the Yuuzhan Vong war a hole was left in the galactic structure to allow criminal activity to seep into and grow. It is now around thirty years after the war and most everything is fine, except for the fact that crime now seems to infect everything from local enforcement to certain government officials of the New Republics Senate.
But things are not always good in a growing galaxy now are they...
The New Republic-Slowly crumbling from the rising crime rates and rampant corruption that plagues it. There seems to be little to combat the crime, but those who are intent on fixing it are working their hardest to return the republic to what it once was.
The New Jedi Order-Once persecuted for ages by the republic, they now seek to help restore the republic. Their main reasoning behind this help is they know that the republic cannot survive without the jedi's assistance.
The Imperial Remnant-Otherwise known as the former empire, they now mostly occupy a sliver of what used to be in their command. Crime too affects the planets of the remnant but it is nowhere near that of the republic. The major effect on the imperial remnant is the fighting that goes on amongst themselves. One side fights to keep the current emperor in power, the other seeks to replace him with someone more capable.
The New Sith Order-The Sith Order has managed to grow while they have been unseen from most eyes in the galaxy. They have even managed to acquire a small fleet of their own to wreak havoc upon portions of the galaxy. While evil, they are a perfect opposite of the New Jedi order, and just as skilled in the force.
The Mandalorians-The clans of the mandalorians have been united for some time now and have taken up the role of mercenaries while still being a major faction of the galaxy. While physically skilled in the art of combat as well as having a good sized fleet, they just don't feel a renewed conquest is that much of an importance right now. They prefer to make some extra credits on the side while adding a bit of an extra fight into the mix.
The Criminal Underworld-The Criminal Underworld is very strong for being made up of very divided groups. Whether it be bounty hunting, an actual criminal ring, or just something illegal, the crime is still a very present factor in the galaxy. Crime may lead you down the wrong road, but it also has tendencies to make you a very very rich person if you play your cards right.
Independent-The Indpendents are mostly for themselves in the galaxy. While usually unaffiliated with anything involving a major faction they may have their way of getting something from those major factions, whether it be some work or maybe they own a company who sells something to the larger factions.
...While times in the galaxy are dark, and the future is unforseen as to whether or not things will become darker or clear up, the people of the galaxy are taking a stand. Senators, Military personnel, people making their own way, those giving in to criminal activities, or just someone who does something for what they believe in, all are working to shape the galaxy to something different. Your choice is your own, your path is your own...may the force be with you in these dark times.

Hmm...we're a little above your rating, but otherwise I think we might be what you're looking for!
AS WE{FALLcollapsing to the bottom of the abyss
In the beginning of time, there was only magick. From magick, the goddess formed. They alone could control the energy from which they were born and they alone created the Planes of Existence. They alone created the Law and the Will. They alone started the Explosion. They alone guide the universe. They alone see the futures. They alone are how we got here. They alone are why we suffer, why we love, why we feel and why we learn. They alone are everything.
Time and time again, the world we live in has been afflicted with war. Faction against faction, brother against brother, and man against man. Nothing comes from these battles but blood and the idea that the winner has saved someone. Even now, the wars we fight serve no real purpose but to bring about red rivers, yet we find them to be necessities, to be ever important. There is one war however that is a must. The war between Good and Evil.
When magick arose within the creatures on the blue rock, the Goddesses selected a single family. Their blood would be the blood that would serve as the chalice for the Will. Their blood would be the bearer of truth and of power. Their blood would be that of the Royal. They would be the Queens of Queens and the Lords of Lords. They would be the guides of True Magick, and they would not be alone. They would have their guardians, and they would have their hearts. They will never be alone, for as we read we know them. They are the Royals, and their magick is our magick. Their blood is our blood, and their suffering is our suffering.
-The Book of Truth passage three hundred twenty seven
The Royals have always been around, or so we’ve hoped. As the beacon of light, the Royals have always united magick in times of crisis against the darkness, and have helped to unite the Mortals in the fight against the hidden. The Royals, while a once large family, have been killed to the brink of extinction. Three Royal Bloodlines still live, and they’re getting smaller. Witch, Vampire, and Were. The Royal Bloodlines are still alive within those races, but time is running out. The guardians of good must act quickly if they are to save the powers they were bound to protect.
And they would be the evil. They called themselves the light, but they themselves where the absence. They were the abyss, but with Our Light they were banished. They fight to conquer the Mortal, but we protect against them. We fight for the Mortal, and we fight for our Blood. We fight for the Power. We fight for the Goddesses. We battle the demon and the darkness for the Light.-The Book of Destiny passage thirty-seven
Demons, which have been rarely united as a race, have started conducting organized attacks. The Council of The Abyss has supposedly existed since before the Freemaker and this Council of Demons and Dark Practitioners have managed to wither away the Royals. They now stand resolved, with many of their followers behind them, in one single goal; eradicate the Royal.
Now take your stand in the world. Will you fight for the Royal? Will you battle for the Blood, or will you find your stance elsewhere? Will you stand in the Darkness and wage war for the Council of The Abyss, or will you be a stand alone darkness? How will your destiny play into the complicated world? Will you be a mortal who opens the door to Darkness? Whatever your role in this world, get ready, because you’ll have nothing to cling to

To come in with the inevitable X-Men site... :)
There are a ton of major and important canons left.
*unfortunately OCs are not accepted, *yet* (they will be as soon as we fill out our ranks a little bit)
However we are a very friendly group who hopes to meet and play with other like minded individuals. The plot is Alternate Universe Based, so only a few characters are set as far as age requirements are concerned. But even they can be worked with. So yea, if you are interested, check it out by all means. :)
18 years ago, a boy was born to one of the most powerful mutants in the world, and the leading doctor in genetics, Professor Charles Xavier and Dr. Moira McTaggert. David Charles McTaggert grew up with his mother on Muir Island while his father went back to New York to create what would later be known as Xavier's School for Gifted students.
As the boy grew, so did his jealousy at his father's inability to connect with him, whereas he was perfectly able to connect with his mutant students. Young David's powers came to light when he was 13, and with the powers came the boy's mental illness. In a fit of rage, the boy killed his mother, after learning the use of the Muir Island jets and how to get to his father.
With Moira dead, and Muir Island destroyed, the thirteen year old boy flew to New York, set on taking apart the entire mansion, along with its inhabitants, which included Jean Grey, Scott Summers, Ororo Munroe, Remy LeBeau, and Logan Howlet, along with younger students that Charles had started bringing into his school.
After a long a difficult battle that included X-Men and students alike, the boy was faced by an irate Jean Grey, who was prepared to use the full force of her powers to keep the boy from killing anyone in the mansion, however she was stopped by Charles.
With a smirk on his face, the boy killed his own father, however the strength that it took to kill Charles left David too weak to do much else. He left the mansion in ruins, but not before telling the X-Men that he would be back for them.
Currently, nearly five years after the death of their beloved Professor, the X-Men have reopened the mansion, keeping the superhero portion of it a secret even to the students. The Brotherhood has been formed by a blue skinned, redheaded morphing mutant named Mystique, and a precog named Destiny, after a prophecy shown to Destiny showed Mystique ruling the world as Homo-Superior. The only catch is the fact that David McTaggert was the brawn, while Mystique was the brain.
Where will you stand?
Will you stand with the X-Men, who have pledged themselves to their students and the world that hates them?
Or will you fight with the Brotherhood for David and Mystique's view of Homo Superior ruling supreme?Sometimes, you must make a Sacrifice.EDIT for Copyright
The Beginning - June 20, 2008 06:13 AM (GMT)
Come to the dark side! XD We enjoy crazy charries and we love to have fun! :3 OC are accepted
Humanity is in a constant metamorphosis, however the basis of human nature stays constant. The truth is grim, for humans fear what they cannot understand, what they cannot control. What was once lost, can never be recoverd, for the innocence of many has diminished. Darkness swallows many, and rare are the times of salvation, of light. After the events at Liberty Island many witnesses the horror of the world, that something beyond their control and understanding.
The past conflict upon Ellis Island has brought various consequences. The Government marches onto the scene, issuing more control concerning Xavier's Institute for Gifted Youngsters. Emma Frost, a successful business woman and entrepreneur, is offered the position as Headmistress. Miss Frost has many surprises for the group of students, who no longer would be able to be an independent force and openly fight the remaining members of the brotherhood
The great wheels are ever turning, each event pushing forward and effecting each one in turn. A series of small events would be essential to make the Brotherhood to come back more powerful and terrible than ever. They will leave humanity in tears. Humanity will never be the same again, and the question is if Humanity is in need of a change at all? Chaos upon chaos, but the changes are inevitable, or is it just evolution? Will the X-MEN be able to stop the events that will cause‘the butterfly effect’?...

Hello ^^ We might be able to help you out, as BOTE fills most of you requirements. We're a TV show based, PG-13, new, human, roleplay based on Lost. We definately have a nice, friendly, active community that's open toward new players but at the same time pretty tight knit.

On September 22, 2004, Flight 815 from Sydney took off for its destination as scheduled--but it never touched down in Los Angeles. On the way, the plane plummeted from the sky and crashed upon an unknown island in the Pacific. The outside world doesn't know where the plane went, and neither do the survivors. Now they must try to survive in the wild, as those back home do their best to locate them. Little do they know, there are others inhabiting the island already...
On one side of the island, the bulk of the plane crashed; the fuselage. Here, the metal carcass of the plane landed on the sandy beach. Following the immediate crash, the survivors moved down away from the wreckage and the carnage, and set themselves up with temporary shelters. They keep watch for rescue, prepared with a signal fire and constant vigilance.
Meanwhile, the tailsection of the plane landed on a distant part of the island, in the ocean. Those who did not perish swam to shore and took to the beaches too. But fear and impending events will force them to seek shelter in the jungle.
Nestled in a valley as of yet unknown to any of the survivors, lives another group of people. These people were here long before the plane crashed, and they have an agenda much different from that of the survivors. They do not seek rescue; the have motives that are secret for now, but they have a great interest in the survivors.
And finally, far away from the chaos on the island, the outside world goes on. But it has taken notice of the disappearance of the flight, and there are a handfull of people who have begun to seek the missing plane, though their motivations are not all the same. Then, there are those who the survivors left behind.
We're a brand new, intermediate rpg based on the television show "Lost". Canon and original characters accepted, as well as writers of all level, with a focus on intermediate level writers

The plot:
| QUOTE |
Pandora was as normal as any teenage girl could be. She was into dark things like blood and vampires and so on. This is why she and her friends got along so easily. They were all completely set on these things that most people peed themselves at the mere thought.
Pandora's friends told her that they were just coming over to celebrate her 18th birthday at 7 o'clock that night. One of her friends that came brought the box in and said it suited her name. Pandora told her friends that they were idiots and took the box. Her friends said that there was no key and they tried to pick the lock for hours to get it open when they retrieved it for the antique shop. Pandora then reached for the box and swung open the lid like it was nothing. She made fun of her friends saying that they made it up and they were trying to pull her leg, but her friends looked at her in amazement.
Suddenly, the entire room went pitch black. Pandora thought it was a joke and told them to turn the lights on...but there wasn't an answer. She looked around and screamed out her friends names...seeing if they would respond...but still no answer. There was no sign of the box anywhere. She then noticed that the room was still dark, but she could make out a figure near her. She asked which one of her friends it was, but then noticed the girl stood forward. She yelled at her asking where her friends went and what happened. The girl only looked at her and responded stating that her name was Annabella...Queen of all and bringer of torment. The girl showed her fangs and lept toward Pandora, making her black out and wake in a world of terror.
When she awoke, she was in the dungeons of the Queen's castle that was unleashed with the rest of the box. She was by herself...in bitter solitude....the Queen's captive.

The creatures:
| QUOTE |
The Vampires were the only race able to go from the box to our world, which made them more of a threat due to the fact that after they turned someone into one of them, the one who was turned had to return with them. The Queen Annabella was about seventeen when she was bitten, though when she got back to the box, she was promised riches beyond belief and all she got was rags. She started out as a maid, but her anger grew out of control until she had lashed out and killed all those older than herself. That made her the Queen, and she was feared and respected by all. The vampires, because they are such powerful beings, are the alpha race at this point, and the queen rules all.
Second to Vampires were Were-People. These creatures were humans bitten by rabid animals. Some were Werewolves, some wererats, the point is, there were a diversity of them. Though they are weaker than vampires, it isn't by much. They were alot more brutal in how they did things. There is no lead were person, but I can tell you that once a human became a were, they were instantly transferred into the box.
Demons were terrible creatures that were the most feared by humans before the box had been open. They've been known to have black magic with which they used to play tricks on their fellow ghoulies as well as the hume.Things in this area include sirens, harpies, orcs, trolls, giants, cerberus, ghouls, and several other things.[I'm too lazy to mention right now]
Which brings me to zombies. Zombies are mindless fools who are programmed to do as they're told. NOT ALL OF THEM ARE FLESH EATING. Most of them are just poor souls caught in a body. There are cases n which a zombie could be flesh eating. Though they have a mind and the only thing that keeps them alive is flesh and blood.
And the last group of creepies are the half breeds. These are very rare considering that humans are considered nothing more than dirt. They do happen every once in a while, and they're heavily made fun of. So no creepy wants their spawn going through that hardship, basically.
A Hume's[Human's] place in this world is nearly non exsistant. They're slaves and that's that. They're thought of as pets more than anything, and are only used for physical labor.

Hey there FAV,
Here's another X-Men RPG. We are over four years old, PG-13 rated, and although we have been going for that long, we don't have as many members as we do characters. A nice community where everyone tries their best to make new ones feel welcome. Check us out, and wishing you the best in finding what you are looking for ^_^.

 A lot has happened over the course of time, strength and growth clearly seen, as a new school year will inevitably bring more of the usual danger a resident of Xavier’s School for Gifted Youngsters often faces. It seriously doesn’t help that Magneto‘s decision to open a new school of his own has seen many new mutants drawn to the Master of Magnetism's ideals. The Brotherhood Superiorum continues to grow strong, however, it's about to become no longer a school. Erik Magnus Lensherr cannot continue to inculcate his anti human ideals into the next generation if he has to constantly be looking after the duties being Principle entails! No, it's time to simplify things so he can once again focus solely on the dream that mutants WILL one day reign supreme! Who really wants to take sides though? Who really cares about either of their ideals? If that sounds like you, then DME is where you belong. The newest faction to the world of Mana4X2, Damien-Myne Enterprises stretches over several cities, with its main office in New York City. Your boss is Colin Damien Myne, AKA Boilmet, founder and owner of this Freelance faction;; he offers you great accommodation, excellent pay, and the freedom to do whatever you want… Cross him, though, and your life won’t be worth living! Boilmet will do whatever it takes to make sure nothing gets in the way of furthering his business… NOTHING, not even you. And then there is the Hellfire Club. They‘ve recently just raised their heads and let everyone know they are still around. What are they planning and scheming, simply laying low while doing it? Who knows, because only time will tell… ** Words of wisdom say, "Choose your associates carefully, yet choose them, for, there may come a time when your very survival will depend on it."

Three million light years away from the Earth was a galaxy called Duran. It once housed flourishing planets like ours. Dozens of great planets with populations far exceeding that of the Milky Way. Their technology far exceeded ours as well. But every great civilization must fall sometime. And this one fell in a mess of exploding suns. It was a natural event of course, yet not one that had been predicted. The population was taken totally by surprise and only a small handful managed to escape the burning galaxy. Part of the ruling family and their closest friends actually.
Now, back to Earth. Its Tokyo only a few months after the destruction of Sailor Chaos. Everything seems to be getting back to normal at last. School is starting up again, life goes on as always. But there is danger lurking closer than anyone realizes. For the remnant of the Black Kingdom or Duran is coming closer everyday. And they've got their sights set on the Earth as a place to renew their dynasty.

I suggest you take a look at Gate. We're a modern day, alt universe rp. We're fantasy, I guess, but not high fantasy (my coadmin is allergic to high fantasy). We're still quite small because we are just starting, and I'm glad you see that as a good thing. We're about to start up a new plot, so newbies will be welcomed.
We're pretty dark, but lately we've been in a silly mood. The new thread's going to be a mix of each as we get back to what Gate is about.
I'll post our ad: check it out. It can't hurt. (Or, rather, I suppose it
could, but I'd like to think it won't)

Welcome to Gateway, Iowa, population 33, 653. The year is 2003, and the town is floating along as best it can. The lifeblood of the local economy is in the food-packing factories just outside the town limits.
Welcome to Insdown, population 12,178. In a world without electricity, horses provide transportation, and the occupants resemble the elves of human mythology, Insdown is a walled city crammed with refugees fleeing from civil war. Hunger and misery are facts of life when trying to find shelter on its crowded streets.
Just outside the walls of Insdown, and on the railroad tracks running through Gateway, a hole exploded into existence. The citizens of both worlds found themselves scrambling for cover, and when the dust cleared, dozens of elves were crawling out of the hole and into Gateway, Iowa.
Welcome to Gate. The year is 2007, and the town that was once Gateway is empty of its original inhabitants. Instead of factory workers and schoolchildren, the town is filled with elves and the scientists, anthropologists, linguists, artists, and others who have come to live among them. Just outside the town limits, a fence has been set up. On the other side of the fence wait government troops, ready to send any elf trying to work its way out back to Gate. Political debate rages over what to do with these otherworldly refugees. In the meantime, Gate is populated with elves, fed by aid workers and filled with the conflicts and confusion from both sides of the border.
One gang, the Ragmen has sworn to help the elves when the government is too slow. Led by a disillusioned young elf who calls himself Robin Hood in memory of his dead wife, Marion, they seek to do whatever they can…legally or not.
Join the ragmen. Become an artist. Perfom experiments on elves. Survive the city. Go to
http://z4.invisionfree.com/The_Gate to learn how.

Name of Board: Junkworlder: Moonbase Delta
Link to Board: This way, watch your step, thank you.Difficulty: Talented beginners welcome as well as old hacks.
Rating: NC-17
Types of Characters/Creatures allowed: Human
Time of where the RP is set in: Alt Future
Plot/Story: A mixture of fiction, fact and almost fact the plot revolves around a couple of strong what ifs:
What if the space program hadn't faltered in the 70's? School children were taught that by the time they graduated high school we would have a moon base in place and in their life time they might actually be able to live on the moon.
AND
What if they witnessed a horrendous event which left them, for all they know, the last remnants of humanity?
99942 Apophis is a near-Earth asteroid that caused a brief period of concern in December 2004 because initial observations indicated a relatively large probability (up to 2.7%) that it would strike the Earth in 2029. Additional observations provided improved predictions that eliminated the possibility of an impact on Earth or the Moon in 2029. However there remained a possibility that during the 2029 close encounter with Earth, Apophis would pass through a gravitational keyhole, a precise region in space no more than about 400 meters across, that would set up a future impact on April 13, 2036. This possibility kept the asteroid at Level 1 on the Torino impact hazard scale until August 2006. It broke the record for the highest level on the Torino Scale, being, for only a short time, a level 4, before it was lowered.
For the sake of our story, however, Apophis hits the earth.The warning siren wails and all screens flicker to the EMS channel.
"You are in no immediate danger, remain calm, and wait for further information. You are in no immediate danger, remain calm, and wait for further information." The familiar voice of Base Control echos through the halls, halting the residents in their tracks.
"As you know, Apophis is a near-Earth asteroid which many of us have been monitoring on it's return trip since it passed the Earth in 2029. No problems were expected. However, it has stuck a decommissioned USSR satellite which was carrying a nuclear device. This device detonated and broke several chunks of the asteroid off. Most are of no concern, however, two large fragments are on course to impact Earth. You will be further informed as information is received. Please remain calm as befits your station and status."
The message began to repeat in other languages, but panic ensued anyway. Other notes:This site is still a work in progress, but I've got the bulk of it done now. There is a sub-forum I'm not opening until the required roles are filled called "The Last Hotel On Earth" where a group is caught in an impact winter in a hotel. Otherwise it's all open; in other words you don't have to be a math wizard or a bio-chemist to play there, you can also be a shop owner, or a high school student etc. Looking for Mods etc. too, if your intrested in the concept.

| I think we fit your bill perfectly! :3 Come check us out, yeah? |
magicians rule london.but the rise of a resistance might cut their rule short…In a world much like our own, there has always been only one major difference: magic was, and is... present.
Throughout history, each great civilization has followed the same cycle: built up by all, taken over by magicians, brought down by the resistance, and then left to ruins. London, however, has had a different turn-out. It is the only magician-ruled society standing strong in present day, and by general appearances, it seems that this will never change. But then again, general appearances do lie...
Prague was once a great city, but, was too, ruled by magicians. Following the grand cycle of things, it was brought down by the resistance... and the years of peace that followed were quickly shattered by a new rise of civilization: London, ruled, again, by what the commoners despised: magicians. London, however, was not like Prague - it could not be quelled in one attempt. After many attacks, the resistance realized the perfectly obvious: they were not strong enough. They would have to gather, and train, and reconvene one day... and so they did. For three decades, London held an appearance of peace. But not for long. Peace, after all, never lasted.
And one day, the time to reconvene came. The resistance did what they had been planning to do for years: they attacked. On the same night, the Prime Minister, the 'King' of magicians, died, leaving his twenty-one year-old son to take his position. At the same time, in another country, the Emperor of the Egyptians was threatened by a strong, yet unknown force... and decided to travel to London with his family and a small group of trusted guards - under the guise of "trying to strengthen ties with his older allies." Mere hours later, the gypsies also arrived in London, unaware of the chaos that would soon ensue.
Now, it is summer. The days are longer, the nights are shorter. The merpeople are seen more frequently out of the waters of Europe. Their secret existence becomes ever more harder to hide.
On that fateful day, London's greatest tower and prison was breached. A quarter of criminals were released, on command of the resistance. The Prime Minister died. The Egyptian Embassy, following them the gypsies, arrived. London's government has only one option - to act like nothing happened. After all, with the gypsies' leaders now staying in their quarters... and with the Egyptian royalty lurking nearby... a secret is only a secret until it is told. Let the chaos ensue.
Nothing will stay pure for long. Nothing.reaching... searching... for something untouched.Magic By Firelight

Here's another X-Men board you're more than welcome to check out.
We hold these truths to be self-evident; that all men are created equal.
That they are endowed by their Creator with certain inalienable rights.
That among these are life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.
Four years have elapsed since both X-Men and Brotherhood faced the blazing fury of the Phoenix on Alcatraz Island. Time enough for Jean Grey’s death to be mourned by those who cared for her, and for those tears to be wiped away in turn by the wondrous reappearance of Charles Xavier. Reinstated as headmaster and leader of the X-Men, the future once again looks hopeful – periods of darkness will always be interspersed with light, however faint. Proving that medical means could never offer a real solution to what some humans saw as a threat, reports that effects of the ‘cure’ were wearing off were confirmed to be true; mutants everywhere regaining total use of their powers with the fullness of time, whether they had volunteered to be stripped of their x-gene or otherwise. Maintaining a civil relationship with the government and tolerated by the public, it would appear that mutantkind and Xavier’s own dreams of acceptance might finally stand a fighting chance.
Diversity makes tolerance more than a virtue.
It makes it a requirement for survival.
Scattered and disconcerted after their metal-manipulating leader was deprived of his gifts and with no one else resolute or willing enough to guide them, the Brotherhood lay in tatters. Still licking the wounds of Magneto’s stinging betrayal even after regaining her mutation, Mystique’s staunch and unwavering belief in the liberty of her kind remained evident even while forced to live the life of those she detested; perpetually driven by the thought of slavery at the hands of humanity and ideals that had been imprinted into her mind by the very man who would abandon her. Believing it to be a cause worth fighting tooth and nail to uphold, the metamorph set out to regroup the Brotherhood under her own reign, rebuild the underground organisation from its roots and fill her ranks with the like-minded – those who are willing to do anything to ensure that homo superior inherit the earth.
Courage is poorly housed that dwells in numbers;
The lion never counts the herd that are about him
Nor weighs how many flocks he has to scatter.
Yet even the most tenuous balance can never truly be held firm for long, and not all humans are quite so accepting. Those with the utmost faith will prove to be mutantkind's greatest detractors.DAMASCUS ROAD

Semper Fidelis is an Ancient Historical board. Soon, after we get some canons filled up, we should start planning a little battle or some conflict. We are looking a person to be Erebus Caelius (Roman Emperor) and Amoniah Minkah (Egyptian ruler).

|Main Plot| |General Rules| |Posting Rules| |Application Form |Canon Claim|The great Emperor Darius Caelius of Rome was just half a season into his treaty with Egypt, another great empire. Darius Caelius signed a treaty with Amoniah Minkah, the young and brave pharaoh of Egypt, to establish a trade policy with each other, in terms to bring peace. Together, they were friends with each other, outside the palaces and in private.
From the phoenix’s ashes rises a great ball of Flame,
This Flame shall engulfed the land, killing the greens of the earth
Wither aren’t thou Holder of the Flame, like greens at thy feet.
The Flame shall boil the seas and boil thy blood of the Holder.But Darius Caelius wanted more peace throughout the known world. Be as he was a strong warrior in court and in battle, what he thrive for was peace. The only large obstacle in his way to obtain it was the stubborn and arrogant emperor of Greece, Alexius Damianos. Trouble as he was, Darius beseech an audience with him. Before that audience could come he was murdered.
Emperor Darius Caelius of Rome was murdered! Yes, murdered of most foul proportions!
From darkness comes not but more night but sun
Sun shall over come the Flame and become the Holder.
Thy peace be at ruin and boil at peace
Know not of the greens and the seas ashesDarius Caelius of Rome lies in ashes as his soul is carried over to the afterlife, taken care by the gods. It was a sad day when he was struck down so quickly. Poison found in his evening glass of wine as his cold hands gripped tightly around the stem of the goblet.
Now with his passing, his eldest son, Erebus Caelius now rules Rome. A man with no known heir, only with his only mistress beautiful and manipulative at his side, takes the crown of Rome. His brother, the next heir to the throne, is a trouble maker for the family. Everyone fears that his humor of a man will break the treaty for acting out of turn.
By gods of the Flame’s gods and by The Holder’s gods and by the Sun’s gods
Be without tribulations and no true trials
For will bring doom and upon the dried up land and boiling waters.
By unity could bring thy doom if seas are not rested and ground not greenerAt Darius Caelius’ burial, a prophecy was made of the future. From this prophecy, people fear the future of their world, as it interpreted in many ways from the evilest of evils to the blessing of the gods. No one knows for sure but some people follow it.
In has been two summers since the passing of the great and once powerful Darius Caelius’ death and the prophecy. There have been rumors through the land that is a secret organization that mean to bring down the peace between Rome and Egypt. The only know means of this group are that they go by the name Constantia Et Virtute or, by firmness and courage. But will they bring down the peace between them?
But from the phoenix’s ashes rises but another phoenix, darker then the first.
Dark phoenix soars and takes hold of the Flame, thy Holder, and thy Sun’s gods.
Power into the dark phoenix’s heart know no bounds but trials and tribulations.
Beseech they light and pray to the elder phoenix’s ashes. But for all those that are faithful to the emperor and to the gods, they are called
Semper Fidelis.
Be always faithful.

Well, it sounds like you've got some good finds, but on the off chance that you're still looking, we're new, sci-fi, and TV based.
___
2376The Dominion has been defeated. Against all odds, the Federation of Planets and its allies were victorious. Many brave souls gave their lives for the cause—soldiers and civilians, friends and family, leaders and lovers—but it finally seems that once more everything is safe and well in the galaxy.
The war criminals who aided the Dominion now face trial - but by whom? You see, even the most noble wars cause damage. Even the wars with the best intention behind them cause problems.
AnarchyOut of all the powers involved in the Dominion War, the Cardassian Union suffered the most. Their capital planet of Cardassian Prime was utterly destroyed, leaving the survivors to live in a place of anarchy, famine, and disease. While their other colonies and territories may not have suffered the same destruction, with their government destroyed they cannot do much to keep the pieces together.
TensionWhile still intact, the Romulan Star Empire came out of the war with its own political problems to sort out. Fighting alongside their old enemies left a growing rift between the Romulan people. Should they return to the isolationist ways, or should they entertain the idea of staying on the Federation's good side?
The Klingon Empire finds it's self in a similar situation. Do they separate themselves from the Federation or do they continue what has become an improbable - but strong - relationship? The issue could tear apart Qo'noS and what little is left of the Klingon Empire.
RecoveryThe Federation - and all involved in the war - are trying to rebuild. Havoc has been wrecked throughout Federation space. The Federation feels they have a duty to keep law and order in the alpha and beta quadrants during this troubled time, but how can they do that when half their resources - both in people and technology - are gone?
____________
We are a somewhat free-form Star Trek RPG, set shortly after the end of the Dominion War. Our purpose is to address the end of the war issues left behind after the finale of Deep Space Nine.

Since you're into TV show based sites, I just opened a One Tree Hill site. PLenty of cannons are open and originals are welcome too :) You should check us out.
A small town located in Tree Hill, NC, is anything but ordinary.
One man, Dan Scott, has two sons, but only claims one.
Lucas Scott is the beloved, arrogant, captain of the Tree Hil Ravens basketball team. His mother, Karen, married Dan shortly after Lucas was born. Dan gives Lucas anything and everything he wants, but they don't have a good relationship. Dan pushed Lucas into playing basketball and now pushes him to become the best. Maybe basketball isn't what Lucas wants to do with is life. {{Chad Michael Murray}}
Nathan Scott is the younger, half brother, disowned son. His mother, Deb Lee, owns a small cafe named Deb's Diner in town. They don't have nearly as much money as Dan does but they like it that way. Nathan lives for the game of basketball, he loves everything about it and is sure he wants to make a career of it. Dan has nothing to do with Nathan or his mother; and has convinced Lucas to hate them, too. {{James Lafferty}}
Brooke Davis is captain of the cheerleaders and all around Party Girl. She loves to stir up a little drama and cause a little chaos. She doesn't think about the future, she's the type to live for the moment, which sometimes gets her into trouble. While she has a bad-girl reputation, she's a loyal friend. Brooke would do anything to see her friends happy and she has a vulnerable side but doesn't like to let it show. {{Sophia Bush}}
Peyton Sawyer is best friend to Brooke and girlfriend to Lucas. Her mother died when she ten years old and she has a hard time dealing it. She deals with her emotions by sketching all kinds of artwork that she hangs in her room. Her father works out at sea so she basically lives alone. Peyton isn't the type who likes being alone, which is why she stays with Lucas. She hates his new attitude but tries to make it work. She's known for her punk rock attitude and style, as well as her sarcasm. {{Hilarie Burton}}
Haley James is best friend to Nathan Scott and a good friend to Peyton. She can't stand Lucas or Brooke and they know it. She's the youngest of eight kids and the only one trying to make something of herself. She's a tutor at the highschool and a waitress at Deb's Diner. Everyone assums she and Nathan are a couple but they're not. She's known for her belief on only falling in love one time but she's also a realist. She's not afraid to stand up for herself. Wants to be a singer, but she's scared to sing in front of anyone.{{Bethany Joy Galeotti}}
Jake Jageilski is the mystery boy. He's on the basketball team, as well and a good friend to Lucas. He's not afraid to step up and let Lucas know when his attitude is going too far. He seems to be the perfect guy in most eyes around the town, but Jake has a secret that no one knows. He has a six month old daughter, Jenny. Her mother, Nikki, left one day and never came back, so while juggling a job, school, and the team, he's also a full-time dad. Jake is the guy who is friends with everyone. {{Bryan Greenberg}}
Other CannonsFelix Tagarro has a strict "friends with benefits" rule with the girls he likes. He's had his heart broken before and is scared to get close to anyone. He's a lot like Brooke, always stirring up any kind of trouble he can. {{Michael Copon}}
Anna Tagarro sister to Felix. She's bisexual and a good, close friend to Peyton and Lucas. She's the only one who Lucas can be his real self with. She used to attend an All-Girls School but once the rumors started about her having relationships with another girl, her family moved to Tree Hill. Felix is protective over her but can't forgive her for causing them to move again. No one except Peyton knows that she's bisexual. {{Daniella Alonso}}
Chris Keller arrogant, up and coming musician who works part-time at Max's Record Store. He's good and he knows he's good. He doesn't have many friends because he thinks they'll just hold him back. He's honest to the point of no one wants to hear what he says. {{Tyler Hilton}}
Chase Adams The good boy in town, part of the school club "Clean Teens" where he vows to stay a virgin until marriage. He had a long term relationship but it ended because he found out his girlfriend was cheating on him the whole time with his best friend. He's sweet and easy to get attached to. {{Steven Colletti}}
Rachel Gatina the fiesty red-head. A cheerleader who everyone loves. The boys want her and the girls want to be her. She's kind of like a Brooke clone because they're so alike. {{Danneel Harris}}
Anyone else from the show is welcome too! As well as originals, let's just get the main cannons filled up first. In Another Life?

New site, but it shows great promise. Opening the 1st!
What if one day you awoke but could not move? You tried to move, talk, smell, taste...but all in vein. There is only consciousness... and you are not alone. Suddenly your body moves, but it feels foreign, not of your will. You try to scream, but your lips are still. You can only exist, only watch from this prison as your life is lived by someone, something else... someone who was implanted and from which there is no escape.

Mm, try us?
U•to•pi•a–noun1. an ideal place or state.
2. place that does not exist.2012. The world is a fetid place. Pollution has caused men and women to become incapable of reproducing. Earth has evolved into a pig-pen for crooks, frauds, murderers, and hungry capitalists without the sound of childrens’ laughter. Although the adults that are left can credit technology to living a longer, healthier life, human population all over the globe cannot sustain itself due to a zero percentage birth-rate in every country. The green planet has become a fiercely dog-eat-dog world, and all hope is diminished.
Please, please
Give me a re-mix
The Beginning
A group of desperate scientists make a discovery twenty years later, a human fetus that is strong enough to survive. Despite mutations and errors in the process, the scientists kept going with their experimentation and when she was nine months old they discovered that she had powers beyond any normal human. Her powers seemed to correlate with her spider-like appearance, but the WDBCC were delighted: they had an idea. They devised a plan to make more of these mutated children to use them for their own advantages. With a whole army of mutants on their side there would be no limits to what they could accomplish, or control.
Not the End
A year after the "birth" of the "spider-child", something rare took place in Scotland. A small town had a pregnant woman inhabiting their community. She had a baby boy, soon named by the awed villagers as "Angeles". He has unexplainable powers that many believe is a gift from a merciful divinity. Almost fifty years later, and the boy is well past childhood. A new city has grown around the school that he established for gifted children like himself and has been known as a safe haven for individuals looking for a better life. This is Evalesco.
The Rise of the Mafia
Soon, a new group mushrooms up and wants a piece of the profit that the scientists are making. Consisting of gifted and civilians alike, they make an ultimatum with the WDBCC. By making their own profits, the third party grows stronger than ever, but they secretly remain neutral to the world and the scientists.
Your Turn
Now it is up to the people to make their own decisions. All three classes are united with one dream: an invincible Utopia. But will a dream be enough to stop a war that could wipe out those who remain?

We have been around for a year or so now and we are always looking for new players. We have a small player base for the most part, but we are gowning slowly but surely. [I remember when we only had four people playing.] We are a book based RPG based off of the Black Jewels by Anne Bishop. We are a mature RPG with a sister site that the players go back and forth with. I hope you like what you see.
----
In the mists of time, long before Saetan was called to make his legend in the realms, wearing the darkest of jewels, the Black. Long before he used that power to rub the entire territory of Zuulman out of existence. Long before the coming of the most powerful witch to walk the realms. The dark weaving of Mother Night calls you from the comfort of the Darkness to bring you forth into a world of light and conflict.
In the glaring Light you see edges and differences that had no meaning in the Darkness, differences in race and social status, leading to conflict with ones self, your neighbors, sometimes all the world. You have been born into a world where violent emotions of hate, fear, jealousy and anger, especially anger, can erupt for the smallest offense.
You are Blood. Mother Night has given you more, a caste and the ability to wear a jewel. Your caste and jewel are yet more means to differentiate you from your peers and bring more hate, jealousy and delicious anger. Yes delicious anger, for your jewel can channel your anger into power, power to strike your enemies and power to frighten your friends. It is indiscriminate, cold, and dark, the darker the more powerful and frightening.
Simply by being Blood you are dangerous to all around you, everyone sensitive to the chill in the air that announces one of the Blood tapping into the dark depths of their jewel. It is the calm, cold, still moment before all that anger and dark power erupts upon the world in dark violence destroying all that are not protected by the power of an even darker jewel. There is no jewel darker than the Black. When Blood wearing Black go cold all you can do is summon your courage. There is no place you can run to, no one to whom you can pray. You have to summon the courage to take the anger that fuels the Black away, to lead the Blood gone cold from the killing edge.
It can't be all anger, hate and conflict that the Light offers, for Mother Night could not be so cruel to call you to a world so harsh as to offer only pain. The jewels gifted to the blood respond to, enhance and violently manifest all emotions not just the destructive ones. Blood will sing to Blood, jewels will sing to jewels, lords will sing to witches and Princes will sing to Queens, the darker the Blood and the jewels the more violent the passion and the more beautiful the song.
What will be your song? Will be a song of pain full of the wild notes of war, conflict and death? Will it be a song of celebration strong enough to stir the ancient hearts of the dragons still rumored to live in the realms, thanking them for the gifts they bestowed to the Blood? Will it be a song of sorrow, a keening howl or mournful dirge, deep and dark enough to blunt the edges and ease the anger? Will your song call to all the Blood of the ages resonant with a violent joyful power, transformative to all it touches and born from the deepest love?
Somewhere a weaver of dark webs calls the silken strands of joy, pain, sorrow and celebration left in your passing and the passing of all the Blood. Black strands of the darkest power fitted one to the other into the darkest web, forming the shape of a dream, and one day that dream will be made flesh, calling Witch to the realms.
Welcome into the world. Welcome to the Darkest Web.-----------------------------------------------------------------------
The Darkest Web is a mature, advanced role-playing board based off of Anne Bishop’s Black Jewel Trilogy. In a time of blood and tribulation, we are forging our own tales about the men and women that make up the Blood Race. Romance, war, and scandals fill up the pages of our book as we tell the stories of those that could become legends. The Darkest Web has been an active board for two years now, and we plan on being around for many more to come. We have wonderful administration team and very active players. We are always looking for new players and new ideas. We would love to have you.

The year is 2012, and the world has decayed from war. Only one place has stood strong against the destruction. Welcome to the city of Nipon, Japan. A city that will see brighter days ahead...the only catch is, can everyone stay alive long enough to witness peace?

"Hey, it's Luke. Look, I'm at the airport and I've got two tickets to Vegas. ...Do you wanna get married tonight?"
Peyton packed her bags, caught a cab to the airport and headed off to Vegas with the boy of her dreams. This is the moment she had been dreaming of since that night in LA when all she could say was "someday" to his first proposal. Once the couple made it to Vegas, they agreed they didn't want to get married without their friends and family there, so they decided to stay in Vegas for a weekend to talk about things. They headed back to Tree Hill, NC a very happily engaged couple.

Haley's brand new cd was released at the end of May,2008 and she signed up for a spot on a summer tour. Nathan continued basketball training with the help of his five year old son,Jamie, and a professional trainer. Here's where Evan Michaels enters...
"I'm in love with you."
"What?"
"I'm really sorry if that's weird for you to hear but I need you to hear it... Probably not good timing, I know that I just..."
"What are you doing? What do you expect me to say to that?"

Evan was also on that summer tour with Haley. He's a new independent artist/songwriter. Late nights on the bus with Haley, talking, laughing, writing, becomings friends, missing families...he fell in love with her. Haley left the tour at the end of the summer to go back home, to be with her family. Everything was fine until Evan came to town. Brooke Davis && Ryan Brady
Ah, Brooke and Ryan...her old flame from NY. He was serious about her, she was serious about him...then Victoria Davis took over. Ryan told Brooke that they had to break up because he found his parents and wanted to meet them. See, Ryan's parents left him, as a baby, with his grandparents and he never met them. Technically it wasn't a lie, he did meet them, but found out it was better not to have. When he heard of Brooke being in Tree Hill and trying to adopt a baby, he flew into town. All he wants is a chance to make it up to her, to explain why he ended things and to prove to the girl he loves that he isn't leaving her again. It's up to Brooke if she wants to give him that chance.
