I have worked primarily (in fact only) with IF boards in my past seven years of RPing, therefore I only know the [ align=center ] [ /align ] tags that are used on IF. I know that there is at least one more (Proboards) set of codes. Can someone please give me a list of them for my advert? I need one for font, size, and a center alignment. I'd appreciate any help or a link to somewhere that will help. Thanks!

Basically anything not Invisionfree uses these tags to align:

[center]text[/center]
[right]text[/right]

Size tags also differ per forum host, but I think if you go with the general 'word' size it should be ok, but you'll have to try that out. Some stick with the size=2 etc. some you have to use size=10. (although ZB fracked this up pretty much too, and use [size=small] or [size=big] which is ridiculous, but whatever lol)

I think font would work pretty much the same too. I think there is a documentation somewhere on RPG-D (in the documentation area lol) about BBcodes on different forum softwares.

There are so many different systems out there that your best bet is to preview the ad before you post it and then use the bbcode buttons provided to see how the syntax works.

The reason why I think previewing is the best bet is because some boards disable codes that others don't, or have custom codes installed; it'd be in your best interests to just assume that an ad won't work and be prepared to preview/fix every time you post. XD
