| Many stories have been recorded of ancient times. Behind even the greatest myths there is a history now long forgotten. In the age of gods and spirits the known world was ruled by a dark empire from their island palace of Minos. They worship the bull, the most powerful of all gods. The tables recount that as their empire grew. Their hate and greed knew no bounds. The people longed for more than stone deities, they demanded a living god. In response, sickened minds indulged in the forbidden arts and decreed that the queen should offer herself to the bull to create the perfect being. The unification of god and man. For 13 months the creature grew inside her; Pure, precious. With every care bestowed to ensure safe passage into our would, it was cut from the queens belly. Suckled on the blood of its own mother, the new born was presented to the people. The palace hailed their creation and the power of the empire strengthened. But as the beast grew so did its hunger. In revenge for the murder of a royal prince, a grave tax was paid on Thena and the northern territories. Every three years eight youths where taken to the palace by royal soldiers, lowered into the labyrinth and sacrificed to the beast. The empire of the bull seemed invisible. As the fifth sacrifice drew near a Shepard named Theo believed this Minotaur was not a god and set out to destroy it. Making alliances along the way and inside the labyrinth. He succeeded in killing the monster, and was sent back to Thena to become king there. Although the monster was killed, its followers and people where not. Thus our story begins but with a greater role to play. Minos is waging war on half of the world as it becomes stronger, making an attempt to take over the most powerful of lands. Some have sided with Minos, others against it. |

![]() The year is 1997. Harry Potter is readying himself for the upcoming battle against Voldemort and vice versa. The Dark Lord's own troops have been infiltrating organizations and masses across the globe, recruiting and intimidating into assimilation. The Order of the Phoenix is doing all that they can to provide a cover for Harry without knowing his whereabouts, but their efforts seem near futile at the rate the Death Eaters are going. On the other side of the globe, however, America is still going strong. Sure, there are plenty of disappearances and a sudden spike in the crime rate, but in places like Hollywood, California, the people would much rather continue with their glamourous lives than focus on real life. The American Government has created a sector called Unit 5, where witches and wizards may come together to help fight. It's a regarded as a prestigious level in their government that few can attain, which allows them to remain in check with the Statute of Secrecy. They are currently infiltrating the prominent witchcraft and wizardry academy, St. Crispin's, to gain information on an underground force dedicated to Voldemort. St. Crispin's is a bit different from Hogwarts. They have three houses: Elepha, for the optimistics with natural magical powers who are taught all normal classes; Tigris, for the more volatile witches and wizards who need to be watched a bit more closely; and Maistrem, for those with powers more honed than others, such as summoning and shifting, that need special training to hone their gifts. With all of the media and paparazzi in place to fling the door wide open on any and everyone's business, the blending of magic and muggles is practically inevitable. At [BoG] Built of Glass, you'll see that Harry Potter wasn't the only thing happening with magic during the second war. You can play as students, professors, Hollywood celebrities and media, government officials, and of course the canons from the books as well. As everything begins to shatter for this rather dramatic portion of the world, how can you feel safe in a world built of glass? RULES | CANONS | SUBPLOTS | APPLICATION |
