Title: [S] Colors In The Footer

Queen of the Spider-Bats - June 18, 2008 01:57 AM (GMT)
Hai there!

So my board's been up for about a month now and I've been dinking around with a few new things here and there and one of the things I just discovered how to do was make the member groups different colors, however I'm not sure what the codeing is to put those colors in the footer or even in my marquee

Example: The Royalty group is dark blue but I'm not sure how to show that in the footer under where all the members online are listed. Any help on coding would be great! I've tried everything I can think of!

I use this one.
CODE
<script><!--
/*Advanced Member Legend 3.0 by Gamer373
v1.0 by es. http://if-productions.com 2005 */

//variables
newtitle = "member. legend."
pretext = "legend."
mover = "group."
moverx = "description."
howwide = "100%"
numbergroup = 6
border = "0"
staff = "3"
bgcolor = "#1c2021"
zextra = ""

//legend;Group Name,Color,Symbol Color,Symbol,Iconimg,Linkurl,Description,Description Color,NumberOfUsers
var legend = []
legend[1]=["Blue Bloods" , "6365df" , "" , "" , "http://i92.photobucket.com/albums/l24/silentearsofhope/bbsq.jpg" , "" , "descendants of lucifer's fallen angels, aristocratic vampires." , "6365df" , "13"]
legend[2]=["Croatans" , "777777" , "" , "" , "http://i92.photobucket.com/albums/l24/silentearsofhope/croasq.jpg" , "" , "blue bloods that prey off of their own kind." , "777777" , "4"]
legend[3]=["Conduits" , "6c2474" , "" , "" , "http://i92.photobucket.com/albums/l24/silentearsofhope/consq.jpg" , "" , "humans guardians of the blue blood secrets." , "6c2474" , "7"]
legend[4]=["Familiars" , "a42629" , "" , "" , "http://i92.photobucket.com/albums/l24/silentearsofhope/famsq.jpg" , "" , "humans who supply the blue bloods with crimson blood." , "a42629" , "1"]
legend[5]=["Red Bloods" , "eb090d" , "" , "" , "http://i92.photobucket.com/albums/l24/silentearsofhope/redsq.jpg" , "" , "a human who is ignorant of the blue bloods world." , "eb090d" , "10"]
legend[6]=["Inactive Members" , "ffffff" , "" , "" , "http://i92.photobucket.com/albums/l24/silentearsofhope/inactsq.jpg" , "" , "gone for over 1 month, application & posts still on file." , "ffffff" , "15"]

//icons
newicon = "http://i92.photobucket.com/albums/l24/silentearsofhope/legend.png"

//end variables;start external
document.write('<script src = "http://209.85.48.8/10105/106/upload/p816695.ibf"></script>')
//-->

</script>

Just alter it to fit your needs. You can see a preview by clicking the button in my sig.
This one is more complex than some because it uses images... so you'll need to make the images of the color you want. But I think it looks better and it allows you to write a description of the group.

Is there a way to remove the images?

Like say if I just wanted to use the color part of it, would the codeing still work?

I'm not so much into the little colored squares (they look nice though! ^_^ )

oh crap you know I totally forgot to ask where exactly this code goes, does it go in the header, footer or in the CSS itself and if it goes there, where do I put it?

>.<

ugh, why can't I ask these questions before i try and apply them? ;P

Blue Bloods - June 19, 2008 12:31 PM (GMT)
lol Footer. That's where mine is. :)

Queen of the Spider-Bats - June 19, 2008 07:14 PM (GMT)
Oh great!

So does it have to be in a specific place in the footer if the skin as a footer itself or do I just post it and it conforms?

Blue Bloods - June 19, 2008 09:18 PM (GMT)
Try it. If you have an issue post the code you have in your footer here and I can have a look. Since I'm not looking at your code I can't say for sure.
