So. I've played tabletop (mostly AD&D, which means first edition, what can I say, I'm a purist) for over twenty years. On-line, I've played Elsewhere (defunct), and Patchwork Universe, and now I'm GM of a LiveJournal-based game, which has had its share of ups and downs.
Forum-based games are not quite the same as journal-based, but there are enough similarities that this seems like a good place to get ideas and help, complain, and commiserate.
I don't do fan games. I think there are a couple characters from literature that I wouldn't mind playing, and there are some worlds I could see GMing, but in general, I just prefer original stuff.
That said, I wish I had more time to play, because there are some really, really cool sounding games out there.
Welcome to RPG-D, Sosoclever.
See, I hate introducing myself so much, I never thought to look back and see if anyone replied.
Thank you. ^_^
