Things I do when I'm bored and sick of RpA. (my forum)

Wikipedia - Just look up random shit. Sometimes I go to special wikis, like WoWwiki, Marvel Database, etc but I generally stick to normal wikipedia looking up whatever pops into my mind.

Music - Go around listening to my library, finding new stuff, playing my bass or messing around on FL Studio.

Pretend I Am A Badass - Imagination is fun. I usually just pick up random objects and pretend they are weapons and then pretend I am kicking ass a la Star Wars Kid.

Brooding - Just sitting around reflecting on the day or thinking about whatever else comes into mind. I often think up of countless hypothetical situations and imagine what I would do if put in that situation. I also come up with lots of crazy stories, some of which get pretty long and epic. I've been thinking up of one crazy one for over six months now.

What do you do when you're extremely bored?

- Answer Wiki Questions. Not sure why i do this, but i go on mad answering spree's. Share knowledge and all that ^_^

- Role play- Well, i normally Role play, but I'm talking, 1000+ words, which i normally don't do unless i have inspiration!

- Skin, making random ones that never result to anything. Normally, i spend hours making the perfect background, maintitle, that kind of thing. Then.... leave it :sweat:

- Make plot pages. Guilty as charged XD

- Check through advertisement ad's on a site i Moderate. Usually, messing with the alignment codes, since they always get them wrong. Burns time. :p

Uh... not sure what else i do XD

I love surfing Wikipedia... I'll go in with an actual purpose, and then see a link somewhere in the article and think "I wonder what they could have written about that." So I click. Then I find another link and think the same thing. And so it goes, until I started off looking up Coca-Cola ingredients and found myself reading up on a creepy disorder in which people are obsessed with amputations. Yeah, I don't know how that happened.

I'll go to Facebook and look for people to add or look through my friend's profiles... or I'll make some graphics on Photoshop.

I think of that as the 'wikitrap.' I can lose HOURS upon HOURS, only finally surfacing once I realize that yes, I really am reading the history of medieval torture devices.

Two other places I tend to lose hours upon hours are tvtropes.org and crimelibrary.com.

My family has a saying, 'Only boring people get bored'. So I must be the most boring person ever!

Book: I always end up grabbing a book, even if I was reading, and got bored. I can be in the middle of a book, get bored, and grab a completely different genre.

Napster: Crank up my music as loud as possible and wait for something to happen. Or put on a comedy album.

Xbox: Halo, Bioshock, KOTOR 2... Whatevs.

Hmm...well, I tend to get bored at my summer job on Mondays (I work at a state park...Mondays are often quite slow indeed.), so I either read, or I develop plots for RP boards, or even for the many stories sitting on my hard drive that are half-finished.

When I have a computer, I end up on Wikipedia often, and try to see how far away I can get from the topic I started on. I also enjoy looking up odd subjects that I only know of based on my college major, and reading them outloud to others in the room. I started with Frued one night, and ended up reading a whole artice on "Penis Panic" to 6 other guys in the dorm room. Ah...good times...

I also tend to lose myself in the PS2, usually Madden or NCAA 08. I like to develop my skills running different schemes and such, and see how quickly I can switch from offense to offense. For instance, to keep myself sharp for when I play others, I'll play a game as Navy, who run a total rush offense, and afterwards, go straight into a game with Hawaii, who have an offense that uses only passing.

The one that really kills me and time is Guitar Hero. I'll easily lose hours trying to get to five-stars on Expert songs.

What I do when extremely bored:
- write plots
- read boring books that no ones ever heard of
- play video games
- get on myspace

-look at random celebrities on photobucket
-read
-listen to music
-watch tv
-exercise...that's if I'm REALLY bored
