Title: [S] Changing the 'Pips'

miss_c_bong - July 11, 2006 08:16 PM (GMT)
Not sure if they are in fact called pips, but I want to add an image to every member group that I have:

user posted image

Like that, and so add that to Admins, and then others to the different groups/grades of student. I DO NOT want it showing up next to their name, but rather, underneath their avatar. Would I have to go into each person's controls and add it to their avatars?

I've seen it done in some places, but still can't find how to properly do it.

Hey doll...

Go to User Title/Ranks ~ Upload a Pip

Once you have a pip uploaded you hop on over to Manage User Groups.

Click on the Edit Details for the group you want and simply choose from the dropdown menu for Group Icon to the pip you uploaded for that group.

Simple. ^_^

Well, for starters we call them 'Team Icons' ^_^, pips are so confusing because those little grey sqaures below your avatar are 'pips'.

Anyway, adding team icons is quite simple once you know how to do it. Go to your Admin Cp > Users and Groups > Manage User Groups. Then click on 'edit group' for a member group. First you see a box for the member group name, then something for permissions, and after that you see a dropdown box infront it says 'Group Icon.'

Now before you can use your Team Icons, you have to upload them first. This is very simple, because this is done via the 'User Title/Ranks' where you usually upload your 'pips'. Upload all of your Team Icons you want for your member groups. Then go back to what I said above, select the proper Team Icon and presh 'Complete Edit'.

Whalla, your done ^_^.

Hope this helped! Let me know.

Edit: Seems someone beat me *tear*.
