Title: [S] Changing the size of a button

miss_c_bong - July 11, 2006 07:05 PM (GMT)
Okay, so i just need some basic HTML help, and I know someone (probably Jess) could help me with this.

I want to be able to alter the size of an affiliate button to match the size of all the rest. There is nothing I hate more (or almost nothing) than affiliate buttons that aren't the standard 88x31 pixels in size.

Is there a code, or a way for me to alter the size of someone else's affiliate button without having to actually change their button?

As far as my knowledge reaches I don't know any code that will change the 'size' of a button. Although my html/coding knowledge isn't that big either. Also I'm posting here because Jess let us know that she might not get much online time, so she might not be on here the coming 2 days or so.

okay, thanks for posting though. Hopefully someone will come along who knows how to do it...I hope! ;)

No, you can't do it with HTML, but you can use an image editing program like, GIMP, Photoshop, InfranView, and even paint at times. It may make it look a bit distorted, but if you post it here I can try it out with my Photoshop.

Thanks, but i can do it with Photoshop, but i wanted to do it with HTML somehow first. I don't think it would be fair for me to alter someone graphic with photosop. With HTMl, atleast, it stays the way they intended it to.

I'm here to help! ^_^

To resize a button with html you use a simple setup:

<img src="url" width=88 height=31>
