Title: [S] Alignment

reMARK - July 10, 2006 03:22 AM (GMT)
Alrighty. On my new board, we've added an announcement box at the top, yet it's not aligned with the rest of the board. Aka, the forums are not aligned with the box. Whatever XP.

SITE

There's the screencap. You may not be able to tell if it's minimized, but if it takes up the whole screen it's extremely noticeable. Can anyone help me?

Well the problem I see is that the board is way to strechted. Soemthing seems to interefering the skin code. When you get that announcement box out of your board wrappers, does the skin go back to normal? So is it centered then? If so you might try to put the code somewhere else, you could try to put it under the 'Board Header', or else under the 'Navigation'. If both give the same result it could be that the news box code is interfering with the skin coding. If that's the case it's best to find another news box code, there are a lot around the place.

Let me know if it works. If it doesn't, try to be specific of what it does. What happens when you put it in the board header, navigation, or what happens when you removed the code.

Okay, when I moved it nothing changed. I think it shifted down a bit, but that didn't really help me at all. When I took it out, it was fine, so I think it probably was the box.

The only problem is, I can't seem to find another new's box that I like.

But hey, thanks for your help! I really appreciate it.

EDIT: Okay, that was weird XD I just took out some of the coding and it's fine ^_^ Thanks again!
