Some of you may remember the rant I had about a certain X-men forum and their unorthodox staff as well as a certain asshole member that never seemed to get punished for childish antics that had caused one member to leave the forum without a word and caused me to loose a staff job I was trying out for. You may also recall that I ranted about the same staff having abandoned their forum all together without giving a single notice to its members as well as allowing previous members' characters AND playbys to be taken by other and new members.

Well, my friends, they have returned. After leaving that dreadful forum, due to the fact that one of my most adored PBs was taken by another member that had selfishly wanted it on the previous site, I found out that it had died perhaps a month or so later. That was actually wondrous news to me and I was glad that it had ended, as most of the staff was very unorganized, never followed up on their word, and didn't solve problems but ignored them. Now their back. Same forum, same staff. They had just sent an advertisement on a board I am currently on and I am appalled.. Why would anyone want to join back with them? ( Btw, a few of the old members went off and made their own X-men forum which looks to be exceedingly well off. )

I'd very much like to warn people about this forum but I'm afraid it'd be against the rules- still, I'd hate for people to join the site and go through the same exact shit that me and my friends had to. It's terrible, a waste of time, and not wanted or needed by any means! I don't know what to do, even to hint that the forum, since there are DOZENS of X-men forums out there. However I also feel awful about being a tattle-tale or whatever but I just really feel that people shouldn't join a forum with horrible staff members and one that will most likely crash and burn like it's previous FIVE others.. Not to mention the same asshole member still lurks in all the new forums- the one that just LOVES to do gay sex threads but nothing else.

What should I do? What CAN I do? =(

I have a pretty good idea of who you mean as I've run afoul of them as well. Would you pm me the link to the site so we can compare?

I'm also pretty sure who you're talking about. It sucks that they've wronged you, but just try and ignore them for now. Trying to bring them down will just make them spawn more forums.
