I prefer Verdana. It just seems rounder and thus "softer."

I like Tahoma, though things look different when they're written smaller, so I can't really say.

My favorite font for boards is Arial Narrow, though it would end up being small. My friend got me hooked onto that.

It depends. If you're gonna make the text ubertiny, I'd rather have Verdana, so I might actually be able to read it. XD

Otherwise Tahoma is just as nice.

Actually, I don't care. They both look about the same to me, really... And I'm not that picky about plain fonts like those. ^_^

Probably Verdana.

Baha.. antisocialist87, I hate Arial Narrow with a passion. XD It's my university's on-brand font... ick. A little biased there. Hehe.

Veranda, if you put it like that. It's more open/sleek looking, I think... And I like spacing.

I've also got "Georgia" on my mind. I think it looks great in ALL CAPS. But used sparingly for headers and stuff. For a standard font, no. Serifs get overwhelming.

Also like courier lots, for that sci-fi, retro-techno feel. With one "character", I had kind of a 'two' thing - a girl and her android dog - the dog talked in Courier, to differentiate. It looks a little weird here, though, all stretched out... I don't know exactly why.

I don't think I have favorite Sans-serif fonts, though - Except Century Gothic stands out some... Otherwise, I've never thought of it.

There are a few fonts that I passionately hate, though. Papyrus and Curlz MT being the two off the top of my head. They're not special - everybody and their dog uses them. Hate 'em.

Tahoma for me.
It's more vertical, and more like my own handwriting =]

I like Veranda more, I tend to use it in my school papers too if there's not a set rule on what font type/size to use.

Verdana! Easier on the eyes,

I used to like Ariel, but don't really anymore. It bugs me that capital I's and lowercase L's look exactly the same in Ariel. In Verdana, you can tell 'em apart. :3

Verdana - i like the style more. ^_^

It must be me; I don't see a difference. Maybe I need a plug-in or something.

Jay Serge - May 13, 2008 12:00 AM (GMT)
lol I'm with you there RomanHk! Took me about 5 mins to notices the slight differences lol

sarahj - May 13, 2008 12:30 AM (GMT)
Maybe it's a girl thing? LOL

[[Hehe, as soon as I posted that, I thought "Rhi Rhi would hate me for that statement". Genders don't matter! I have to keep reminding myself :) ]]

RomanHk - May 13, 2008 04:02 AM (GMT)
Haha. I think you might have something there Sarah. I still don't see the difference (and I'm not going to stare for 5 minutes :p ).
