I've been on this RP for nearly 3 years. That's a long time to be with a handful of people. But one of the members thinks he runs the place when he clearly does not.

I've had several problems with him trying to god mod me as well as copying my character's abilities saying that he knew them first. Sometimes, I am forced to god mod just to stay anywhere near his level.

Finally, the idiot got smart. He got really smart and made his character not have A N Y T H I N G to do with my character's abilities. But now, he's got his girlfriend on the site. Despite the fact that she's there so his character can have a good time in bed and is sexually appealing in every damn way, he had the girl COPY my two character's abilities and merge them into one big ability.

I don't know what the hell was going on. Does he know that I am highly protective of my character?! Doesn't he understand that there is only about ten people on that site to begin with?! You can make new and different powers other then what someone else has on the site. I own the Pyrokinetic. My main character manipulates shadows into weapons and can have them do whatever the hell she wants. Does he seriously have to copy their abilities?! Or is he really just that retarded to not understand what the hell he's doing?!

I hate repeated God Modders and I A B S O L U T E L Y hate damn Mary Janes. What should I do?!

If it really bothers you, I'd flat out let him know. Pm him and his girlfriend and kindly ask if they wouldn't mind changing it.


As for god-modding.. thats usually against the rules. Bring it to the attention of the Mods/admins, and have them admonish him appropriately.


Other than that, I'd just grin and bear it. You can't change people, try as you might. So take the negative and try to see it as a positive. Chances are your writing will shine over his, and since the idea for the ability was originally yours, you are likely closely connected to it, and have a good grasp at how it works. So just out-class him. ^_^

Actually, this guy sounds oh so familiar... You've explained the person i'm thinking about down to a "t" and I'm nervous that its the same person since he left the forum I was on. A lot of his characters tend to be over the top but without much originality to back it up. And yes, he's brought his girlfriend onto the board too. XD

If this is the same person ( and i hope its not), he would turn very mean and self righteous if you so much as hinted on what he is doing. I would, if I were you, first make the admins aware of this and see what they think, given that they are actually on the forum and can look at their profiles, posts, everything, they might know best how far you should take this. After bringing this to the admin's attention, I would approach both him and his girlfriend and be as nice as possible so that they are most certainly the ones out of line if they blow their cap.

However, i never really considered God Moding much a thing to get my panties in a twist so its hard to say what you should do about that. Its usually the power playing without permission from the other character's player that bugs me. Chances are he might not even realize he's god moding so it would just be best to bring it to his attention and let him know that you don't appreciate it.

That's the funny thing. HE KNOWS THAT HE DOES IT! He knows he does it and doesn't fucking care. He doesn't care at all and it ticks me off. I am not allowed to be an admin because I would ban him every time he was dumb. And that is a lot.

But now he's turning it into a big deal. Not just him, but my best friend. I'm srsly sick of the damn drama and want it to end. I just want it all to end. It makes me srsly wish that I could die all because of some power copy.

It's all so stupid and you know, whatever. Makes me sink into the pathetic hole faster.

I would like to first and foremost say, that Lady Hikari likes to go to various websites and bad-mouth that certain individual, usually using his name.

Other forms of her flattery include: Fake Marine, and many unpleasant names

The thing is, she never tells her parts of the story. To riposte, so to speak, let me say this.

I am afore-mentioned character on a good friend's account, because I didn't finish making my own yet.

She isn't allowed to be an administrator because she abused her powers when she was, and we had to create a new website because of her temper. Also, the RP we were all part of, was one of my own creation. My character was an umbralord, and heir to the throne of darkness, in the RP. The point of that was that, quite literally, the darkness belonged to him.

Lady Hikari made herself an umbrademon, meaning she was umbrakinetic. In all fairness, she would fall under the umbralord's dominion. But she generally god-modded out of such situations.

Secondly, my "girlfriend" is a pyro, and she likes fire. Also, I was the first member to coin the term "psionics," and she also liked the concept of psionics, so she made her character have both powers. And of course, Lady Hikari, the tempermental creature that she is, though some love her to death, went ape-shit.

However, sadly, she didn't tell me or my girlfriend it offended her, so we couldn't change it, nor could the issue be adressed.

Another big issue we ran into on our site before she was permanently banned was that her fiance was an admin, and she liked to bully him into submission.

So, I would like to warn you all, as a former member of the Shadow Clan administration, that Lady Hikari is a risky member of any sort of RP where she won't get her way, absolutely 100% of the time.

Making a new site with strict rules about fighting and drama. Don't want any. It's tiring, stressing and definitely not needed.

Of course, if I was petty enough to bring back a rant from three months ago to make an ass of myself, then I'd post my side all over this damn thread. Just makes for the lulz. And I got plenty of lulz. xD
