I realize this might sound a bit stupid. And I'm not quite sure if this is where I should be asking...but I'll do it any way.

How do you move a post? I'm adminning on an ipbfree site and cannot figure out how to move a post. I can do it with threads but with posts? I'm a little lost. Anyone got a clue?

On the different forums I've been on, you can merge posts, or delete them. But as far as I know, they can't actually be moved to another thread.

I know nothing about ipbfree, but on IF you can merge threads together. Perhaps this is what you're talking about? It would involve combining two threads, not just moving a single post.

Yah, I'm positive that you can't move individual posts on any IPB related forum software. You can, as December, Esq mentioned, merge threads. That's probably about as close as you can get to moving individual posts.

You can try splitting the thread and then merging it back together. That might work.
