PROCRASTINATION
i'm really bad at this so at allow me at least a month's advance. muse, pictures, inspiration, boredom, all that come into play. so, if you're looking for a quick hit it and quit it. i'm not you're gal. most of the time i get a sudden burst of inspiration and do the whole lumpsome of graphics that night. however, it's getting TO that point that i have trouble with. okay so maybe not a month but if you're excepting something to be complete in a week. please don't request from me. i'm never prompt even in RL.

i take no offense if you bug me about the progress. and i encourage you to do this actually.

i tend to work better if there are some ideas you have for the way you want your site to look like, however, i need that sort of artistic freedom as well. so it's OKAY to tell me you don't like it.

if you'd like me to help tweak a skin to your style taste i can help with that. but this means i need access to the ACP so, if you're okay with allowing me to access it and then delete my admin account that is perfectly fine.

I'd totally enlist you for something because - let's be real - I think you're totally awesome.

But, sadly, I can't start any boards because I'm going out of country to Guatemala at the end of May until the end of June. No idea what the internet situation will be like there (I'll find out on Thursday). And I don't want to just start something and ditch it for a month to go speak Spanish and drink. I know you say you don't have much of an attention span but if you're interested in helping out with an original Battlestar Galactica based game or a post-zombie apocalypse game (which I think I actually CAN make successful) you know... keep me in mind for two months from now if you're still bored and intereted?

Hey Metallicar,

The board is in its simplest form, a Battle Royale RP. If you don't know what this is here is a brief explanation. A group of teenagers from two school classes aged between 15-16 will take part in the BR-TV program that aims to reduce the ever growing population by pitting the school kids against each other on an Island. They will be giving a random weapon and let loose on the Island with a collar around their neck that will go BOOM! If they try to remove it or go into a danger zone. So we are aiming for an action-packed board with plenty of death. I think that'll do.

So, I would be asking you to do the graphics on the board since my skills in that department are practically nil. This would include the skin, banner and the affiliate banner and perhaps make our sidebar slightly more unique-looking. Also if this idea interests you at all, we would love for you to become a mod but obviously that is up to your personal taste.

So far we have most of the board up, a sidebar that looks like most other boards sidebars. We have done most of the writing on the board but still have some more to do but it is well on its way to becoming ready for the public.

Any help is greatly appreciated! A link can be provided if you need it.

_{tsk, I was going to shamelessly ask for you for graphics help. Well, if you aren't overwhelming busy with Lazarus' request, I'd love it if you considered helping with the board I'm currently admining on. It's an already developed LGBT roleplay board set in Canada; nothing over extravagant, plot wise. It's basically member driven, with a few subplots here and there. I guess we're going through a sort of revamp soon, or the other admin wanted it to be soon. I pretty make the graphics, but I can't, at least not now, because my computer isn't working properly. All we would really need would be a header, affiliate button, sidebar images, pips, and the little images that go in the member legend -- That's actually a lot ... xP}

I think I could totally use the help of someone like you if you're still open, Metallicar.

I'm working on a DC Comics based roleplay, and it's going to be very extensive when finally finished, which means, of course, I have to put in a lot of work on it to make it presentable. Because I'll be damned if I'm gonna half-ass it. XD

Anyway, having someone who could take the load off with graphics would be wonderful, since I'm not really the greatest in the world at that sort of thing. If you're interested in modding, we can talk about that as well, since I'm certainly going to need one of those.

I must admit I don't have much done so far, the board is still a little baby right now and I'm compiling the massive canon list at the moment, but I've got the skin something like 95% done, aside from the all-important spiffy banner, buttons, markers and sidebar graphics. The rest will come in due time, right?

SO. I love your graphics! ^^ And I'd pretty much love it if you could help me out (graphics wise) with a Twilight site that I'm working on. I've got a plot outline, a skin, and I'm in the process of putting up the categories and forums, so all I basically need are graphics (i.e. header, sidebar graphics, pips, etc.). I have a little bit of graphical skills x] but I no longer have a program to make things, and I'm NO WHERE near to how good you are *feels like a failure* o.0

My forum service is SMF (Because I can host it myself!) and working with the template requires some knowledge of PHP...which I don't have So finding someone like you who would also be able to skin for Simple Machines forums would be a blessing and I would be more than happy to host any project such a skinner would have on my web space.
