Just a curious question! Because I'm directing a friend here. :3

What's the stance on play by e-mail games? Can they be submitted to the directory? I ask because said friend has a play by e-mail game that's accompanied by a website for all the informational parts of it, but they don't have a forum since...well...it's played through e-mail. xD So since they don't have a forum for their game, the only place they could put the RPGD button would be on the website.

Does that work? Or should non-forum games not be submitted?

Yes they can ^^. We have a non-forum RPG section, in the Cross-Over/Other Based-On RPG's Forum. That's specifically for RPGs that aren't done on forums. So basically everything from wiki, blog, play-by-email and anything really can be submitted to that forum. As long as the RPG-D button is on the main website page ^^.

I think it might be a good idea to add some extra information about non-forum RPG's in the submission form topic.

What about games played on boards2go forums? I haven't seen... any, on here, so I was just wondering.

Well we cant beat people from every forum host to RPG-D XD. Basically all RPG games, hosted by forums or not are free to advertise here now. I don't think at this moment we have an restrictions, either for RPG's or non-RPG's (although non-rpg's are still forums only).

Well the only restrictions are that they aren't things that aren't supposed to be advertised, but RPG forums, non-forums RPG's, play by e-mail RPG's whatever, if members want to advertise it, they can ^^.
