One is can I get sidebars on my forum?

The second is how can I avoid the death of a rpg board?

Then to avoid death of an RP board, well there are plenty of topics around the Managing your RP forum and RP talk about what members like. Have a good original plot, keep things busy, make sure you have things that potential members will like, be active yourself and advertise x 500. Take a look around and you'll get a more in detailed answer.
