Title: [S] Quick Login

Manda - April 2, 2008 01:59 PM (GMT)
As per a member suggestion, I added a quick login section to the side bar. I got the code from IF, but when I went to test it, it didn't work. I thought there might be something wrong with the code, that the one I got was old and didn't work (as some IF codes do), and went to an RPG on here and got their login code from viewing the source (I figured that one should definitely work). But I got the same response when I tried it out.

I put in my other username and password, and click switch user. It just brings up an error page where it says I need to enter in a username.

Here's the code:
CODE
<form style='display:inline' action="http://z11.invisionfree.com/hogwartslschool/index.php?act=Login&amp;amp;CODE=01&amp;amp;CookieDate=1" method="post">
<table border="0" cellspacing="0" cellpadding="0">
<tr>
<td><font size="1">Username:&nbsp;</font></td>

<td><input type="text" width="70" class="forminput" size="10" name="UserName" onfocus="this.value=''" value="" /></td>
</tr>
<tr>
<td><font size="1">Password:&nbsp;</font></td>
<td><input type='password' width="70" class='forminput' size='10' name='PassWord' onfocus="this.value=''" value='' /></td>
</tr>
</table>
<input type='submit' class='forminput' value='Switch User' />

</form>

I've been having this trouble as well. No matter how hard I look, I can't seem to find a working code either.

Unfortunately, Pure Will doesn't affect the internet. I've tried. :<

Here, I dug up the one I'm currently using.

CODE
<form style='display:inline' action="YOURURLHERE/index.php?act=Login&amp;CODE=01&amp;CookieDate=1" method="post">
<div align='center'>
<input type="text" class="forminput" size="10" name="UserName" onfocus="this.value=''" value="Username" />
<input type='password' class='forminput' size="10" name='PassWord' onfocus="this.value=''" value='ibfrules' /> <br>
<input type='submit' class='forminput' size="1" value='Go' />
</div>
</form>

^^ I tried it and got the same response.

Does it work on your forum?

cupid's_formula™ - April 3, 2008 04:16 AM (GMT)
Yeah. It does. I'm assuming you're using this for your Hogwarts School RP? Here, just try this again. If it doesn't work, then I truly don't know.

CODE
<form style='display:inline' action="http://z11.invisionfree.com/HogwartslSchool/index.php?act=Login&amp;CODE=01&amp;CookieDate=1" method="post">
<div align='center'>
<input type="text" class="forminput" size="10" name="UserName" onfocus="this.value=''" value="Username" />
<input type='password' class='forminput' size="10" name='PassWord' onfocus="this.value=''" value='ibfrules' /> <br>
<input type='submit' class='forminput' size="1" value='Go' />
</div>
</form>

I could have sworn that was what I had.

But whatever you did, it worked. =]

Thank you so much!! You're my hero now. Hehe.

cupid's_formula™ - April 3, 2008 04:49 AM (GMT)
