Title: Myspace Or Facebook?

Hmmm. I like facebook better because it's a great way to keep a network of your friends :3.

Facebook, for sure!

Come on, Vampires. Bite your friends! How is that not 100% cooler than MySpace? Oh, and not to mention -- I dont get a zillion friend requests from bands I don't care about...

Yeah. Facebook wins it for me.

I was a myspace fan, but I'm totally converted to facebook now!.

I love facebook. I just find it much easier to use than myspace, not to mention that I can see so many more of my friends there. Sure, the applications are a bit of a nusiance at the moment:

"invite 20 friends to see your results!"
-clicks to send invites to friends-
"Your request could not be processed. Invite 20 friends to see your results!"
-clicks to send invites to friends-
"Your request could not be processed. Invite 20 friends to see your results!"
-smashes keyboard against the wall- I DON'T EVEN CARE ANYMORE!

Add that continues for another 10 minutes before giving up and then later finding out that you invited 100 people without seeing results. ><

But they should be getting better, soon hopefully. XD I will always be a facebook fan. <33

Oh. One complaint about Facebook....the applications >:o! My page is like EMPTY XD.

I choose myspace over facebook although i have accpunts on both and barrely on either. Myspace it seems like you could do more with your profile rather than facebook which the majority of it seems like quizzes and random things like poking, and the genre of additions to your profile.

I chose Facebook because it's easier to find people and it's easier networking wise than Myspace, so I really am on it more often. However, I like that Myspace lets you have control of the layout for the people who know how to play with it, and I like the surveys and bulletins that go around Myspace more than the random applications they added over at Facebook

I prefer Facebook, it's a much simpler concept. And it's more fun!

I prefer Facebook; seems much safer than MySpace, although they're kind of making some changes recently that I dislike.

And the applications thing pisses me off too. I haven't added anything in ages because I refuse to do that 'pick 20 friends' thing.

And Bumper Stickers (best App ever!!!) only works 43% of the time which also bothers me.

But even so, Facebook all the way! MySpace is just... Well, kinda sketchy.

Facebook. Myspace has so much flash crap on it that it makes my computer slow down. : / Plus, Facebook is easier to connect with real friends, and it seems safer. I do wish you could add nicknames, however, and bulletins. Oh, and the invite thing for applications is also annoying. :[

FindSerenity - April 12, 2008 01:19 AM (GMT)
Facebook, though to be honest I don't EVER check either of mine.

Mimizi - April 22, 2008 10:55 PM (GMT)
Facebook 100x over, simply due to the fact that I get much less friend requests from creepy 40 year old men on Facebook... and the bumper sticker application is fucking amazing.

daydream_analysis - April 22, 2008 11:34 PM (GMT)
Neither. Myspace is full of teenage weirdo wannabes and face book seems kind of blah. Plus, I always see my friends in real life, and no one else really cares about my boring life anyway.

John-My-Hedgehog - April 22, 2008 11:41 PM (GMT)
I prefer facebook because I don't have to look at frighteningly glittery and seizure-inducing backgrounds and images all over the place, however up until they recently modified it so you could block applications, I was fully prepared to punch someone in the face if they tried to turn me into a vampire, zombie, werewolf, pirate, tell me to drive a pretend car, try to get me to plant a pretend plant, etc. I do really enjoy being able to bring people to causes, though.

On the other hand, I hate responding to wall posts all together. I get bored of talking to my real life friends online for some reason... it's sad but true.

Marvealle - April 23, 2008 02:23 AM (GMT)
For me Neither. I'm not much into sites like Myspace or Facebook. Though if I had to make a decision it would be facebook hands down.

vheissu - April 23, 2008 10:16 AM (GMT)
I don't want to be shot down for being a myspace lover...but I am!

I'd convert to facebook as I'm sure it tears Myspace to shreds, but for some reason it won't let me register? Something about my email. And after the third try, I flipped it off.

Myspace's been good to me anyways ^^

If you're not a college student it'll give you a little bit of hell to join.

Facebook is my #1 definitely. I can keep in touch with people from other colleges/back home... Never did Myspace, I didn't want to get raped.

iolanaelle - April 23, 2008 02:28 PM (GMT)
Facebook, definitely.
More convenient, and less stalker-people...
Down at MySpace, it annoyed be a bit when people I didn't know added me up. Then there are those ads that are just as irritating... >.>

tarot americaine - April 23, 2008 04:58 PM (GMT)
Neither. I hate social networking sites. I'm content "networking" with people through phone calls, instant messaging, and seeing them in real life. I'd rather meet new people at shows or shops, not through some website.

That said, I do have a Facebook because my friends made me get one. My status is often set to "Dae hates facebook SO DON'T CONTACT HER HERE". I especially prefer it over MySpace, which is so... ick. The coding is so back-addled and the website is so half-assedly made I can't stand being on it for more than a few seconds.

I also have a MySpace, because my boyfriend was a MySpace whore when I met him, and he wanted to put me as his top friend. The last time I used it was when the Dresden Dolls were using one of my photo manips as their main image thing.

silenntlegennd - April 24, 2008 01:26 AM (GMT)
    myspace ftw!

i tried facebook once, and i was seriously befuddled...
everything was quite...different to me. so i stuck with the good ol' myspace!
