Is just an alternative for the request of an Cbox for RPG-D, people will be in a chat enviroment so spam is not a problem because it's dynamic and with a simple /clear command you can clean your screen. Is not hosted or placed within he board code and people won't be even conected to invisionfree at all, so the security will not be a problem.

And the best of all, we get all the benefit from real time chatting, you know, trashtalk, be able to knew each other better without giving our personal contacts to strangers and all everything we wouldn't be able to do in a board or in a Cbox.

I've read on the Cbox thread that ShinLi though about a adding a chatroom when RPG-D had its own host, so, it's kinda a free alternative, get a big server such as DALnet, EFnet or IRCHighway and open a channel.

IRC is the best invention ever. And you can play all sorts of fun games too! Like TorD, Never Have I Ever, etc. We should have a bot too! On one of the old sites I belonged to we had a bot, and it would respond to commands like "/hello [username]" and the bot would go all crazy with some fancy welcome message. Good times.

I fourth (?) this. I think we ought to try it for a little while and see how it goes. Shin Li's call, of course. We'd have to have some basic rules, but I think that there's enough of us that we could manage to keep each other in line.

There are a quite a few irc, chatrooms, and shoutboxes I know of, if you guys need help finding one to fit your needs. :) But I think it would be a good idea, nice for people to chat for fun. I guess this means I fifth this?

We have talked about this a bit via IM, but honestly I really have no clue what this is and how it would work XD. I had a look at the website, but it didn´t make me any smarter. Would it be something I have to download and install, or just something I need to register for and then? Someone who can explain this to me would be very welcome :D.
