welcome to 2254. forget what you knew. this is a whole new ball game.
ruling your world is a psychopath woman who goes by the name of elizabeth crowley. according to popular belief, she makes voldemort look like a fluffy white pussycat. she took over at harry potter's 30th birthday party - a masquerade. the woman slipped in and halfway through the celebrations began avada kedravaing everything into oblivion.
after that, the assassination started. whole families known to sympathise with potter were taken and shot and destroyed. whole families known to stick with the 'dark side' were taken and also, according to the euphemistic term of the time, removed. muggles were shipped off to enchanted islands in the middle of oceans where they were required to produce for the elite population of the world. halfbloods were sent off to extradition camps. minimal numbers survived.
on the 'elite' fronts, nothing was safe either. exams, rules and millions of new laws were put in places. the population was split up into several ranks based on their looks, brains and many other factors.
but all this has been forgotten
all books were burned. all people brainwashed. people do not know what came before the crowleyan society. they assume it was evil - horrible. harry potter is known as a villain who could easily have ruined this 'utopian' way of life. people go about their lives thinking that there isn't another way.
but what if out of the ashes of that old, primitive way of life, a phoenix will arise?

Would you be interested in being a global mod? I have a thread on the board about what I'm looking for in a co-admin, but I don't feel comfortable kind of hiring you to do co-admining straight away, no offence. Maybe in a month or so, I'd like to give you and admin job. Anyway. :)

SGX is in need of the FOLLOWING
COMMUNITY ADMINISTRATOR
This person will be my second-in-comand.
He will help make up the rules, make up the forums, keep everything, etc.
Essentially, he will have all the jobs that a normal admin does and the same power I have over the board and the authority to make decisions, as long as he/she does consult with me first and I do not protest.
• knows way around admin cp.
• experienced
• responsible for board maintenance when i'm away
• reliable and honest
• friendly, helpful, and firm
• active and know that this project is long-term and FULL-TIME
GFX ARTIST
This position requires primarily a skillfulness in the art of graphic making.
We would really need the graphics Leader to be someone who was good enough at making graphics.
Now then, the GFX ARTIST will not only help out a bit with the forums(such as doing a bit of advertising),
The the making the banners, affiliation button and things such as, as well as the pips and other pictures needed for the site.
They the co-admin, must be active.
A knowledge of skin installation would be a sufficient skill as well
• reliable and honest
• friendly, helpful, and firm
• active and know that this project is long-term and FULL-TIME
KEEPER (Moderator)
This position requires ample patience and kindness as well as being firm with those who break the rules.
A sufficient knowledge of the Mod CP is required as well as practical memorization of the site rules.
The moderator is in charge of patrolling the boards for inappropriate behavior in character of out.
Whosoever holds this position must be comfortable with reporting wrongdoings to the moderators and possibly have members suspended or even banned because of it.
Additional skills (see above) are definitely taken into consideration.
These moderators have a lot of the same duties and priveledges as overall admins.
They help monitor every Gamer's Claims.
They move old, inactive, or completed topics to the archives.
They delete double posts and inappropriate posts. They warn members who are breaking the rules and are permitted to temporarily ban members who have repeatedly broken rules.
They're allowed to post announcements.
Please note that the Global Mod is not required to necassarilly do all these things.
They have the ability to and should just, in general, help out and help keep order.
They do much of the profile work, they will accept or tell Gamers how to improve.

ADVERTISERS
SGX needs someone to help get the word out about the site since it will require a lot of members to reach its full potential. Mostly, they must focus on Advertising in whatever way they see fit, though they may be asked to help assisting members who's writing quality is slipping.
