Hiya,

I was wondering where I should go about listing my RPG forum that is a Dragonriders of Pern rp board, which qualifies as fantasy, but is also based on a novel. I tried searching the directories for other DRoP RPG's, but I failed to find any. I would also like to add that I really like the idea of this site! It'll be awesome to have a place to advertise as well as search for all of the RP's out there. Thanks!

I'm not exactly sure about this, but I think you'd put it as a novel based RP depending on how based on the novel it is. Is it just the same setting as the novel, or do things follow the actual plot of the novel? If it's the earlier I think it would be fantasy but the later it would be novel. I'm not exactly sure about this, as I said earlier, but one would figure that's how it goes. :)

Anyway, you need fifteen posts to submit a board so you have time to think about it. :lol:

Alrighty, well, the setting's the same. I'd say it's about equivalent to Harry Potter rps in that way. Loosely based on the book in that the rps take place in Hogwarts in Harry Potter RPG's, but the characters are unique and so are the plots.

I'm really surprised there aren't already DRoP RP's posted on here! There are millions of them out there.

Not everyone finds RPG-D sadly :p.

I think it would best fit in book based, if it's based on a novel. As that's where people will likely search first for such an RP.

Ok, cool. RPG is simply any forum that involves creating characters and roleplaying, right? lol, 'cause I'm still surprised that there are no Dragonriders of Pern ones on here, considering many of their admins affiliate/advertise like mad.
