So my new rp board has a steampunk genre and I myself have a general knowing of the genre but I'm afraid that with my limited knowledge and the lack of knowledge on my co-owners part that we may not be able to describe the kind of setting very well.
So I was wondering if those who have done this genre of roleplay or are totally into it, that they could give me some sites and/or more knowledge. Anything will help us in understanding the genre and being able to convey it to others so that they may understand it as well.
Well, we tried Steampunk but could not get it going. We had loads of interest inititally, but it died away pretty quick. I still hope to revive it down the road, but I am way too busy these days. Good luck with yours!

The level of technology, the culture, the people, it can all be tailored to your own liking. With a basic layout you can develop it however you like, and creativity is always a plus in rpgs.
