Title: Requesting Rp Forum

yes, i'm well aware that we have one but...

am i too insane for thinking about subforums? i just figured that it might be easier to narrow down what those willing to offer sites might be able to work with.

for instance, i run a gang board, a vampire board, and a school board. i often end up running into a vampire board request when i'm actually trying to find members to recruit for my gang or school boards.

i realize that there are MANY categories but perhaps we could break it down into the main ones? like a subforum for human, fantasy, harry potter, etc.

I donīt really understand your suggestions. Lemme try.

You want to get subforums in the Requesting RPG forum? So it'll be easier to post in requests?

Eh, I don't really like it. Then the folk who are willing to consider multiple genres - say, HP and high shchool - would have to post multiple requests, which really isn't needed. If anything to narrow down is put in place, I think it should just be a request that you put the type you're looking for in the topic description - which many do already.

I would have to agree with Clipsed. I mean, people probably can take time to look through the topic titles, it's not that hard, just a brief scan.

yeah, that's what i'm asking.

i was thinking about that when i was posting the question and perhaps there could be a forum for those looking for more than one genre of board.

it's not that i'm lazy, it's just that i don't have the fastest connection in the world and so opening a thread takes much longer than i would like. i kno i'm not the only one out there like that, so i just thought it might be worth a shot to ask.

of course, if everyone put what they were looking for in the topic description or title, that would be awesome but not that many do and i doubt it would change too much if we merely asked that it be done that way. not that many topic titles have anything to do with their genres. they're things like 'look at me' or 'i'm just really board' or 'looking for something special'.

maybe i'm just alone on my loathing of the dial up ^.^ still, i thought i'd ask.

Even if you put subforums in, a request for a real life forum could be very different once you actually opened the thread and it might be your forum doesn't fit their request. This is the same either with or without having subforums.

As the other two members who replied here I'm really not feeling this suggestion. I do understand it though, but what we have now is sufficient.

Thank you for your suggestion though ^^.
