Title: [S] Hide Sidebar On Offline Forum?
Sunday - February 28, 2008 09:56 PM (GMT)
Is it possible to hide the sidebar when turning your site offline? I don't want to delete the sidebar code on one of my sites, but I don't want to leave it up for people to look at either since I don't want my alterations passed around. Help?
Thanks in advance. =)

as far as i know, no it is not. however, you could just copy the sidebar code into notepad and save it like that ^^;

If you just wanted to keep the cbox up either, you could always opt to leave just that up. It'll be ugly for a little bit, but people can still chat without you having to worry about anything getting taken.

Isn't there some coding you can add-- like {display:none} or {display:block}?
I can't remember, but I thought there was something like that that you could add.
I saw some Java script on this, too. Not sure how it would apply to this particular sidebar but maybe Roswenth can help.

The only thing you could do is take if off completely and edit it on a test site.
