Title: [S] Is There A Code For This?

radtardedx - February 23, 2008 11:18 PM (GMT)
I'm trying to find a code to put in my sidebar.
You know on the "Portal" page there is a list of the latest topics?
I'd love to stick that into my side menu, but I can't seem to find a code for it.

Any ideas?!

yeah, I know what you're talking about for the portal thing. Do you mean just a link? Just put this where you want it in your sidebar.

<a href="url">Text to be displayed</a>

I hope I'm aloud to post here. o.O *runs to check* okay, yeah I am. nvm

Hmm not quite.
If you go to the portal, there is a section with the newest posts, with how many replies, who wrote them, etc.

If I could use PHP includes to move that to my sidebar it'd be handy.
I did find one code, but it was too big to put in my sidebar :(

I'm not sure if that is possible, but you might have a look on this forum: http://forum.ifcode.com , it's quite good and has a lot of codes. You could also ask there if it might be possible.

I found one there actually about half an hour ago hehe thanks :)

Thing is, it stretches my sidebar, but I don't want it to. So I've had to move it to the footer. But it looks strange and out of place down their.. =\

Well I suppose if you post a support topic there they can help you figure it out, and might come up with a solution, as after all, the code comes from there ^_^.

Your topic has been solved and moved to the 'Solved Support Topics' forum! Still have a question, or something isn't clear yet? Open up a new topic, but be sure to be more specific this time!
