Sirius - 8 year old mini-panther mutt domestic short hair. Basically, he's a beast.
user posted image
When he moved to the middle of nowhere with my mom, Smokey the Cat-Devil used to fight him a lot, hence the oozing toe. But Smokey has since learned is lesson, and Sirius remains cool and aloof...while still loving to sit on laps and be pet. Sadly, I see him about twice a year now. Even though he'll always me mine in my heart, he'll never live with me again. :(

Which is why I'm plotting to get another cat as soon as I'm married. ;)

Sirius knows pink is a very manly color.

This is Taffy. She isn't mine, but she might as well be. She loves me to pieces and her hair gets all over me all the time. She belongs to my future mother-in-law, and I threaten to steal her on an almost daily basis. She purrs like a motor boat.

OH MY GOODNESS! those are some adorable pics of your cats :) I'm going to have to post up my babies soon! But those pics are utterly adorable !

lol I forgot to add that it was directed at both of you ^^

Wee, pet thread, I love these threads *goes to show off her pets*

Weelllll, the first is our amazing Blacky! She is about five years old, and she's brilliant XD. She's the daughter of the Terry (our other cat). And she's my little baby.

And here's our lovely Terry, well bitchy :p, she's about six years old. And as I said, she can be a real bitch at times, although I'm not scared of her, we do have our run in at times XD. But she is a very pretty cat, and this is one of our 'photoshoots' in our garden.

And last but not least! Lizzie, we don't know for sure how old she (or he) is, we think about 2 and a half now. Yes she is small for a Green Iguana if you know them/hold them. But we saved her from starvation last summer. She is doing a lot better, put on weight and is growing steadily. At the moment we are building a larger enclosure for her in my room ^_^.

In about a month we'll be getting two Gerbils, so I'll post them here too.

Good butter that's a lot of cats! lol Where are all the dogs!
But wow, enchanting eyes on every single one of these kitties....

Roswenth - February 21, 2008 11:42 AM (GMT)
Taffy looks like a sweetheart.

And Blacky looks just like the cat across the street that I petsit for sometimes (her name is Arwen).

I want an English Bulldog, but my dad won't allow us to have a dog. We had a Sheltie for many years, and it broke my dad's heart when he died. So when I move out I plan to get a dog.

Here's one! This is Honey, my six-or-seven year old Lab mix. She's a runt, which is why she's small, and I love her to pieces! She's the sweetest, most good-natured doggie ever.

Here's another! This is Rufus, a full-blooded Beagel ( at least.. I think so. <_< ) We got him for free when we were looking around for one. Ended up that this girl had to end up giving him away since her husband had been shipped back off to the military when they'd been planning to move into a house. Being that they were in an apartment, they couldn't keep him. So, we got a $300 dog + a book, ear formula, brush, collar, leash, and toys all for zilch! He's a sweety and is currently asleep under the table beside me. x3

I'm crazy about cats, especially black ones. ^_^
Not exactly a dog person, but these two do look cute.

She looks absolutely hooooge in this picture because of her neck scruff, but that is mostly fur.

This is Poppy, or the Rabbit formerly known as Poppy (because of her black flecks, obviously) now more commonly known lovingly as Bugger Face. I picked her up two years ago--a mini-lop (though I see nothing mini about her) and I adored her colouring. She spends most of her time indoors, loves to be around people, but will not let you pick her up, so when it's time to go back outside, we both get our weekly exercise. Ironic however, that when I need the loo, or go somewhere she's not allowed, she follows me around like we're attached at the ankles, so I have to run wherever I'm going to make sure she doesn't follow O_O.

She can also open doors, and does so frequently, just to be cheeky.

Little Mouse - February 21, 2008 06:18 PM (GMT)
Taffy is a total ham all the time.

I love Blacky's coloring! She looks like she has freckles.

And hooray for all the black cats! I'm not going to lie- when I was fourteen and got Sirius from the humane society I was specifically looking for a black cat. ;)

My friend has a mini-lop that is also suspiciously not-mini...

I know how THAT feels like. Tommy's so 'needy' it makes me want to kill him sometimes. I can't NOT let him in the loo. If I don't, he starts scratching the door like a madumcat! Plus, if I'm sitting he'll jump up and hit my face with his head, and I mean really jump. Not to mention that he licks anything in his reach. Even my socks!

Vasi's exactly the opposite. Calm, proud, independent. Of course he's loving, in his own way, and certainly not annoying! Get this, I have to play with Tommy at least 15 minutes every night so he can go to sleep and not wake everybody up at 4 am when he suddenly goes on a run spree through the house. He's mad I tell ya, mad!!!

Henri! He's a lot older now (like six months older) but these are the only pictures I could find. He was rescued from animal control! The last picture is lolcats worthy, haha.

Lastly, this is Aleutian, aka Shorty. My sister rides him in horse shows, so that's who is on him.

I have one more bird, not pictured, who is a parakeet. It's pretty much a menagerie around my house!

Kryptic, animal freak. I've raised lotsa bunnies, but I only really own one now. And I don't have any really good pictures of him.

WARNING; Cuteness ahead.

user posted image
This is my crop of bunny babies of 2007. Yeah, just one litter. But they were my second generation of bunnies that I've bred.

From left to right: Opal, Aussie, Mousse Jr., Alice, and in back is Belle. Opal's named for her color, Mousse Jr. (with his purty blue eyes you can't see in this picture) after his late father, Alice for her personallity, and (Bonne)Belle and Aussie keep up the family tradition of being named after beauty products (Grandparents Revlon and Mary Kay, Parents Tressemme and Mousse). Alice has got a bit more of a story than the others. Being the runt of the litter, she was small to begin with, but unfortunately, her somewhat scitzophrenic mother also didn't do the greatest job with her. Alice didn't get her birth sac entirely cleaned off of her until I intervened. No, I probably didn't save her life, but I did prevent the possibility of infection... and she could finally poop and pee. ^^ Alice was my favorite; she's got the personality of a real little adventurer and loved climbing all over people. And sitting in people's hoodies. The kids were about a month and a half old here. I'm not in charge of the kids anymore, though. They stayed with the high school and I moved on to college.

user posted image
Moussey j. again. To show off his purty eyes. I still don't know how he got those. His uncle had blue eyes, but nobody else in the family. Probably same way we got Opal, too. Black Bunny + Hotot Agouti = Opal?

user posted image

Speaking of which, this is the first generation that I bred. Going across: Max, Chunky, Tressemme and Easter. These guys are about the same age as the kits above, but a year earlier. Tressy turned a wee bit insane (hated traveling by cage and freaked out until she was paired with Moosey. Max was originally thought to be a girl, and after an accidental mishap, he came back to me from his owners and stayed at the school. ^^

user posted image

This picture doesn't do him justice. I need new purty one for teh Chauncinator. Once he finishes his little shedding spree.

Chauncey's the only rabbit I personally have now. He's a Mini-Lop mix, or so I've been told. IMO, he looks a lot more like a Rhinelander, except for his coloring. Chaunce is addicted to fruit flavored yogurt drops and bananas (He'll do anything for them, like, srsly - his drugs) and watching TV. He's approximately 3-ish. I guess. I'm an awful person and I like making him stupid paper hats - arising from putting a cardboard tube over his ears. Which he doesn't seem to mind. I even made a construction paper Pirate hat for him. He does those awesome little bunny-buzzes at me (like purring, in a way) and never disapoints when it comes to entertaining guests.

user posted image

My sweet boy. Rusty. Eleven years old. He's currently undergoing kidney failure and we're not going to have him around much longer, sadly. This guy's a genius, I swear it. I've known him for all his eleven years, too. Which is over half my life. So, I'm going to miss this guy so much when he goes. He's a Golden Retreiver, by the way.

----

Panda; your Poppy is a way hawt bunny. ^^ I love tricolors! They're so handsome. And Lops. Bunnies are so cool because they have such unexpected personalities.

Introducing Chesney the yellow lab…

(Otherwise known as our yard horse or eater of everything. He was the runt of the litter and now is close too 100 lbs of muscle. In this picture he managed to get an apple… from the fruit ball… which was on the table. ::sigh:: )

This is lucy. When I love her...she is deemed Lucy Goose and when I want to Kill her (which is more often then not) she is deemed "YOU DAMN DOG!"

user posted image

She belongs to my lovable roommate-in the pic and I swear this 7 month old puppy (shepherd and black lab mix) is the devil incarnate. But she is so cute, and when she knows she is in trouble (which is all the time) she does that whole put the head down but look up with those big yellow brown eyes and sigh bit....I swear this dog gets away with murder.

Gosh, all of your pets are adorable. And to Squirrelsy, congratulations on a Beagle winning Best in Show at Westminster! It was quite a moment -- I actually got misty-eyed seeing that beautiful pooch go to town baying over his victory. Good for you, Uno!

This is Kitty aka Tiny Baby aka The Infant. (Hope these pictures aren't huge.)

user posted image

This is Todd aka Toddy Boy aka Fat Thunder aka Fatty Pneumonia. He's a relatively new addition to our household -- we've only had him for three months. He wasn't this fat when we got him. He likes to eat. A LOT.

user posted image

And this is Nutmeg aka Crazy Nut. We got her for Kitty for Christmas 2006. Kitty doesn't seem to be too interested in her, but Todd is definitely interested. A little too much, if you catch my drift.

Oooh. I have my four kitties! And one fish... who I will now go take a picture of since I'd forgotten about him for a second.

Okay! Now that that's done... I shall proceed to spam you with pictures of my animals. Oldest to youngest:

This is Olivia, and really, she's my darling. She's only the eldest by a few minutes, but she likes to think she's the alpha male. And she was until her step-brother came along... who constantly torments her now. She spents most of her time in her sanctuary in my room either cleaning her toy ferret, toy mouse or toy fish she stole from her step-brother, go Olivia! She'll be... nine in May.
user posted image

user posted image

Next is Olivia's brother, Oskar/Oscar. He's a major wuss, and would most certainly be the 'Omega' in the their little strange pack ranking or whatever. He's a major suck and whiner too. He wakes people up to feed him at five, and well, doesn't leave you alone until you do. He's also highly neurotic and gets upset very easily and then pukes. Or stops eating and then gets even more nervous and licks bags, the bathtub, my garbage can, the railing and the walls. Or anything really. But I love him anyway. He was dressed up at Christmas... much to his displeasure.
user posted image

user posted image
Aww.

And next up is Pumpkin... I think. But whatever. He'll be four I believe in December, I'm not totally sure since he moved in with my step-mom. He's fat, lazy and a major bully. He chases the others around the house and then alls down and lays there for ages. He'll also take a swat at you if you're walking by and you don't pat his belly. He's fat too; about twenty pounds. We also dressed him up at Christmas and the dog's coat didn't really fit him... he wasn't pleased at all.
user posted image

user posted image
He looks a bit odd.

And last of the cats is Miss Daisy. She's the latest addition because she was originally my step-sister's who lived with us. But then she moved out and got a dog so we refused to part with Daisy... and besides, Daisy was used to her brother and step-siblings. She's pretty much a princess/diva and acts and looks the part. She's downright insanely vicious if you ahev to take her somewhere and then bring her back. She wouldn't come near any of us for like three months, but now she has these extreme sucky moments where she literally tries to crawl up my legs to pick her up. Quite infuriating at times. And at the moment I can only find one picture...
user posted image

And my fish! His name is Korin, and I got him on December 22, 2006. So he's like a year and a half old. He's a beta fish and he's a bit neurotic and I'm actually surprised he's still alive since my friend thought I'd kill him. I thought so too, but apparently not. This picture is with my phone so the quality's not great, but the shot is actually fairly good. o__O He's in his spiffin' new tank/bowl thing.

So, I'm a professional service dog trainer so I have about 20 dogs I'm training at a given time. But, here are my personal pets.

The first is Eva - an Akita / Shepherd mix. Great dog with a spunky attitude. She's a very sweet, level headed dog that's a real gem.

user posted image

Next is Tia, a golden retriever. This is an older picture of her. She's a rescue and a genetic mess. The result of bad breeding all around. Had hip surgery at nine months and was born blind. This picture is before she developed some eye problems and we had to remove both eyes. So, she's my 8000 dollar eyeless dog. But, a fun personality and does better than I would if I were blind.

user posted image
(now eyeless)
user posted image

This is the latest addition, Julio. He's a dog I trained as a service dog and has been reserved as a demonstration dog. He's, obviously, quite smart and well trained and good around the house. He knows about 110 commands and can open doors, turn on lights, pull a wheelchair, get my bags at the store and carry them among many other things.

user posted image

This is Huey, a military macaw. He's about 5 years old and, therefore, still very much a teen. Very sweet, goofy and loves to cuddle.

user posted image

Lastly, this is Louie, a lutino ringneck parakeet. Lots of spunk and a fun bird.

These pictures are great! Emuerz, I love that you dress your cats up and take pictures. Is there anything funnier than an angry cat in a goofy costume? I'm going to have to do that with Fat Thunder (I don't think Kitty would sit still for it).

Tulojow Nagde, I love your Akita/Shepherd mix. What a pretty dog! I love how you can really see the Akita in the shape of her head.

Tulojow Nagde - March 20, 2008 03:46 PM (GMT)
heh - you can't see it in the pic, but the Akita mix has the stubborn streak of an Akita too. Definitely a different feel than the service dogs I work with. With the service dogs it's: "what can I do for you? Do you need this picked up? This door closed? huh? Anything?" With Eva (and I've done some training with her) it's "Um ... do I have time? What's in it for me?"

Kryptic - March 20, 2008 05:41 PM (GMT)
Well, I didn't have a great picture of him before, so I finally got a better one of teh Chauncey. Incognito Chauncey.
