Title: [S] Putting In A Subtitle...
Robespierre - February 19, 2008 10:21 AM (GMT)
So I'd like to put in a subheading above the board, in nice font. You guys know what I'm talking about, I think. Something like, 'Welcome to... etc.' How do I do that so it goes under the advertisement band from IF but over the boards?

You mean some sort of graphic? Or like a welcome table we have her on RPG-D?

I mean text, but I suppose it is a graphic. I've only ever seen lettering...
If you want an example of what I mean, sapphirecourt.com has a subheading just under their main banner. THAT's what I'm talking about. It's awesome, and I'm jealous of it. :p

Yeh it's a graphic. First you need to create one, or request one. Then you can simply put the image in an img code with center tags in the header & body of your forum. Put it under the <% NAVIGATION %> tag.
So it will look something like this <center><img> img ulr</img></center>
It just looks like text because the background has the same colour as the background of the forum. But you can do much more fancy things if you do it as an image.

Excellent! That was so fast, and so helpful. My deepest thanks. And sorry I posted that other topic in the wrong forum. I can be a bit hasty when navigating sites.
