Description: Help me please!

So, I'm the admin for King Arthur's Court. And, I'm new to InvisionFree... As many of you know, on proboards you can mass PM your members... Can I not do it on IF?

No I don't think that's possible on Invisionfree, but I might be wrong... But I've tried to do it too, but never figured out how. I suppose if it was possible on IF it would be easier to find XD.

Actually you can do it! ^^ It's called "Bulk email members" if I remember right. You can only do it once every five days (to prevent spam) and you can pick and choose the member groups you want to send the email to. This way you won't send it to Banned people or whatever.

Yes, but that's something else then Mass Pm. Bulk e-mail is that all members ( then ones you select) get a mail from you. But Mass PM is when every member gets the same pm on the forum itself.

You can actually do it, and without having to email. It's set up on a by-usergroup basis, meaning while one group might be able to use the feature, others might not. To set it up, go to ACP -> Manage User Groups. Select the group you'd like to be able to mass PM others, then scroll to "Global Permissions".

It's the third option from the bottom of that section, and it allows you to state the maximum number of accounts the group can PM to at any given time. It'll then show up when you go to compose a message.

The only thing is, you have to enter all the usernames manually.

That is the one thing that puts me down. It's impossible to put down 4,000 member names to send out a mass pm. It will work for 10 members, but it's just a system that doesn't work on IF.
