Title: Bebo, Myspace, W/e.

I just wanted to hear your veiws on sites like bebo, myspace, facebook etc.

I have a few things that have annoyed me recently about one of them.

I personally have bebo and have had it for a few years now.

The first thing that annoys me is these 'bands'. I have created one or two in the past but they drive me CRAZY. For the majority people make bands like 'We love Joe Keen' band. What IS the point in that? btw i'm not talking a famous person, ii'm talking a boy who has made a band for his friends to join to say they love him. Another thing is the people who make bands that actually have meanings. Like Anti-fur or Against Child abuse. This would be okay if these bands actually DID something. I'm all up for supporting your charity, but how is making a online page for people to join and write comments like ' YOU ****ing ***holes who abuse children. Go to hell' That helps, not.

The second thing is people coming and leaving rude comments on other people's pages. I am totally against any animal cruelty including eating meat or fish and especially blood sports. This is my personal veiw and i would never force my opinions upon anyone. Therefore, why do i get total idiots leaving comments FULL of swear words and comments that don't make sense on my page? Hunting is the main debate as fox hunting is big in my area. So by putting a little icon on my page with 'Against hunting' why do i get these totally pointless comment on my page. If these people want to talk to me about mmy beliefs i will quite happily discuss it. But without the cussing and insults every two words please.

I saw one of the rants below about 'mean girls'. Ours is no where as bad as that at my school but of course we have those girls who think they are the most pretty, popular, perfect, wonderful etc. I couldn't help but laugh when i saw that a group of these girls had put on their page that they were pro-dances. Okay, these girls did ONE dance for one of our school shows and it was appauling. 'm not just saying it to be mean but i have done dance for 11 years now and i wouldn't dream of branding myself as a pro dancer.

Desperate people. People who pretend to be celebs. Kinda sad. Boys who add you and ask for cyber-sex or for you to go out with them. It is annoying and again, pathetic.

My last [although i have pleanty more that i can't remember.] is this whole meeting people over the internet shizz. Because of this, my parents went all 'omg you have bebo!' on me. Sorry, if you are stupid enough to meet up with a man who you knew was 30 years older than you then it's your fault when things go wrong.

I don't know if any of you have simular problems or whatever as i have never been on myspace properly and i don't know how many of you have bebo...

I too have had bebo for years, I had it when no one knew about it and suddenly everyone in my town's like OMIIGAWD BEBO RAWKS! And I'm there yeah I kind of told you that like three fricken years ago..

I miss the OLD bebo.
HELLO - APP INVITES, SOD OFF! I DON'T WANT YOU!

Also skins. I remember submitting several and I'm not being big headed but they looked more quality than some of the skins they accept now. Right now it's looking like they're accepting everyone Mick, Bob, Joe and Harry that submits a skin. It's ridiculous. I have the original Bebo skin on my page; it's the only one I particularly like.

Also yes - I came across loads of Maddie McCann bands [etc] saying JOIN TO SUPPORT THE FAMILY. Mostly these are just young teenagers who want page views and "bebo luv" (I'll be getting to that) and basically the only way anyone can support them is generally getting involved.

Bebo love - the single most annoying way of showing your friends how much you mean to them.
It's nice sometimes - except when they say "share da luv bak grl!" It's like an online freakin popularity contest.

Scene kids - Scene kids.. does this really need an explanation? In brief: "I have 234097345987324-0873425-932847509328475 pictures of myself looking like a whore with so much eyeliner that my eye sockets are permanently black! Please comment on my pictures and stuff cause I'm Mrs Pete Wentz RAWRRRRsome"

BANDS for scene kids - Basically bands saying "join if you're a gorgeous beboer" with hundreds and hundreds of pictures of hundreds of scene kids. I mean, if it IS all different scene kids.. because I just don't know.

Same with the emo people..

Bebo apps - Stop adding me to your apps. I don't want to be a part of them!

If i think of more I'll put them here XD

I miss the way old Bebo was. Simple and not like every other social networking community. That's what attracted me in the first place - it didn't follow trends. Now look at it, following a trend every chance it can get. :(
