Well I'm happy to announce we opened our skindex!

It's quite empty still. But hopefully you guys will help us out with filling out the skindex! Submit your skins today! Hopefully we can get a nice index of skins with the help of all the RPG-D members and lets make this new feature of RPG-D a big success!

Remember we won't have any skin staff members, this feature will completly be member run. Member submit skins for others to use.

Our skin index will hopefully not only contain Invisionfree skins, but we also have a spot where skin for other forum hosts can be posted, for instance Proboards, SMF or Zetaboards!

Have fun with the skindex and hope to see some skin submitted soon!

Hah, anyway. :] I already have some skins in mind, and I'm pretty sure they'll be exclusive to here .. Because I don't feel compelled to post my stuff anyplace else, really.

Eh, sorry, I was in a hurry. Anyways, I was wondering if you could put a code for a sample copyright up for us with the link back to RPG-D included. I tried to put it up on a skin I made, but when I clicked the link to make sure it worked, it popped up 42 separate IE windows.

Yes, thank you. I actually figured out what I did wrong (only put www.rpg-directory rather than the full thing), but I still don't know why so many windows popped up.

Anyways, I added a couple skins. Check them out; tell me what you think--they're kind of my first skins.

Do you mind if I put that in the submitting rules? Just as a reference for beginner skinners?

Nope, of course not. Add it at the very end of your footers if you want it at the bottom, or at the very top of your header if you want it at the top. If the background on the forum makes it hard to read like that, I'd try it at the end of the header section. Oh, it's usually centered as well, just with <center></center>.

Is there a possibility we could get a chat area to talk about skinning?

At the moment, if anything I think we could ad a sub-board to the skindex. I wouldn't really want to put a whole forum up just for talking about skinning techniques when that's not what we're really about. I think a sub-board would do just fine =]

No offense guys, but calling it a "skindex" makes it sound like an index of pornography.
