Title: Let Us All Rejoice; For We Are Young And Free!
Description: Australia Day. Celebration inside!
Mousie - January 25, 2008 04:32 PM (GMT)
That's right, it's the 26th of January yet again!
It's a day for barbeques, beer, rock music, kanga bangas (kangaroo sausages), flags and the green and gold! I nominate all RPGD members as honourary Australians for the duration of the 26th! That's right, Kiwi's! For a whole day, you can actually be cool for once! XD
So, enjoy your Aussieness! Anyone want a beer? I've got VB, Carlton.. and Boags in the esky over there ---> there's snags (no shrimp, sorry) on the barbie to your left, and the table next to it has some vegemite sandwiches, lamingtons and a nice pavlova done up 'specially.
And let us give thanks to the awesome things Australia has brought us!
-- Melbourne, I love you. Crazy trams and all. And truly, you are better than Sydney, though Sydney is awesome.
-- An awesomely cool history, full of loyalty, intrigue, the fair go, and the battler spirit!
-- Confusing as hell lingo, bring on the 'Straiyan!
-- AFL and the craziness it comes well. C'arn the BULLDOGS!
... feel free to join me, oh honorary Australians.

*feels honoured to be a honourary Aussie*
I love Australia, if I have money I will so buy a plane ticket and go there XD.
I like that, beer, rock music and all! So happy Australia day, even if you don't say that, I'll say it XD.

Hooray for Aussie day! I'm mostly Australian anyway (simply had the misfortune to be born in Auckland) so hooray!
Mousie - January 26, 2008 02:07 AM (GMT)
What a misfortune indeed! XP It's alright, for the next eleven hours, you're full Aussie! :D:D:D

Edit: G'Day
Great, I can celebrate like 4 days late hahaha.
Also Melbourne>Sydney. Don't live there but you can just go to Parliament (it's the next street on but I can't remember what it's called) and there are always three amazing musicals on like a block from each other. Also, the shopping capital of Australia. Sure, it's not Tokyo or anything but whatever. WE DID OUR BEST OK!
Anyway, happy Australia day to those who celebrate it. My time period I have to have a lizard before I get a snake expired on Australia day. I'm so excited! Now I just have to get the money *groans*

Well, I'm a bit late but ironically I wore my Australia shirt that day! :) I love Australia! G'day to all!
Mousie - January 29, 2008 10:19 AM (GMT)
And so everyone SHOULD love Australia. XD
But you know me... die hard patriot and all. :D AUSSIE AUSSIE AUSSIE!
... The Aus Day Holiday (Monday) was a nighmare though. For those of you familiar with the 'Big Day Out' phenomenon... guess who works down the road from it! For those not familiar with BDO... imagine a hundred and fifty thousand people at a music festival in the city west. Most of them are drunk, and stupid, and walking all over the road, and making butts of themselves at the local supermarket.
/end whinge.
