Will the RPG Directory be converting to ZetaBoards?

We will convert eventually, but we have already a re-vamp planned, so that would be a waste of time put into the re-vamp if we convert now. Also we want to wait before more skins and more mods etc. are available. As we like to prepare ourselves to our best ability before we are trying to pull off something new ^_^.
As of this moment, what is available isn't appealing too much to the RPG-D staff yet XD, so that's one of the big reasons too.
Thanks for asking though, and btw, I only noticed yesterday a teeny tiny extra link in the acp that we were able to convert XD.

I am not impressed with ZetaBoards either, which is why I made the move about 1/2 months ago.
It's the best thing I've done actually, moving away from InvisionFree has given me a lot more control over everything ^^

The link is only to choose when you want to convert - they aren't converting yet. And I'll be trying to buy the IF backup of my board, and converting a different board before I even go there!
I want to have some skins premade as well. I may go start a topic on this..

They are being converted.
At present they are being done manually and in no particular order to ensure they go smoothly.
But yeah. A lot of people are still attached to IPB so it's wise not to convert on a big board like this just yet. :)

what are some of the differances between Zeta and IF? i'd like to throw it out to my members to see what they want, but i'm hazy myself.

I'd tell you to register a test ZetaBoard and let your members have the link to it. That way everyone can try it all out without risking your actual board.

The most drastic difference is the ACP I think. And some of the tags are different as well from what I can remember. I tried it months ago, wasn't too impressed. Personally, I don't think it's worth it because you don't gain too much.
