Title: Wizard Versus Animal
Description: Perform Magic Or Transform?
Ollie - January 13, 2008 10:14 PM (GMT)
This relates to the forum I am making and I was just curious what people thought.
That is if a wizard can not transform another wizard into an animal like Mad Eye did to Malfoy or be able to give themselves wings, gills, etc.

Perform magic for me. Animals are great, but I think magic would be so much more convenient. So, you can breathe underwater. Do you have opposable thumbs? Rofl. ;]

X) Some animals can get pretty close to thumbs though. Like otters swim super fast and smash urchins with rocks on their tummies.

Can't you turn into an animal with high enough magic?
absolutelybarmy - February 22, 2008 03:15 AM (GMT)
Only if you train for it. And it's a long, difficult process. At least, in the HP world. I chose perform magic. Turning into an animal can be fun, but, eh. Gimme mah spellz!

I choose magic. In particular, Eddings sorcery! WOOT! I wanna make things go BOOM...

*Hops on the magic dragon bandwagon.*
I'm just really not an animal person.

Turn into an animal. Though I suppose that if you can do magic, you can do both, but whatever. I was always a fan of the Animorphs.

Well, by being able to do magic, it's kind of easy to be able to transform someone into an animal. I chose performing magic so yeah, we could do both with the first option so why not choose it?

Magic. There are so many different things that can be done with magic that the possibilities are endless.

I chose magic as well. Even if magically turning yourself into an animal was out of the question, I think the uses of magic would far outweigh the benefits of turning into a llama. I also assumed that you were limited to one animal when making my choice, but even then I think I would still pick magic. Magic just seems so limitless (aside from the imposed animal limitation) as well as practical for auto repairs, cleaning, cooking, and setting people on fire in a delightfully discreet manner.

I say Magic! Because you can do so much more... You could even turn yourself into an animal with magic lol
Emma - February 23, 2008 04:41 AM (GMT)
Magic. I'm really not all that interested in being an animal. I might do it if I could be both! But not otherwise.
vheissu - February 23, 2008 05:47 AM (GMT)
I choose...animals. Or a metamoprh..but that's beside the point. Animals win for me by a a mere margin for the fact that it's an innate thing? so to speak. Rather than having to train to go into tiger mode....I have no idea as to what I just said.
hiddenrevelation - March 5, 2008 05:17 AM (GMT)
There's no way I could choose between these. Of course, if you do magic you can turn yourself into an animal...still. I love the idea of turning into an animal, if just for a little while.
