Usually at Christmas I get given a lot of crap that I never use. Aside from one novelty gift, I can officially use/eat/drink all my gifts readily, which makes a nice change!

When I do Christmas shopping, I like to buy at least one gift that is "clever" (although ideally all of them will have my obscure thinking behind them). This year it was the Cap'n Crunch cereal for the Benny and Joon experience, and when we're on holiday, I'm going to make her a cheese sarnie with the (covered) iron.

- Playstation 3 and "Assassin's Creed", shared with my brother. I am in complete love! The graphics, the interface, the games. Over the course of less than a week I have become a very skilled assassin, indeed. And gotten very possessive, I will not allow just anyone to toy with my love.

- A relaxing eye-mask.
- Money, some already spent on a delightful dangly neklace by DyrbergKern.
- Leather gloves – that actually have fingers long enough to fit mine, complaining loudly to friends pay off, I think –, a lovely bracelet, moisturizer and an exfoliating bodyscrub.
- Guerlain's "L'Or" make-up base. With their new foundation, this is my new life-saver. It makes my skin radiant even on the worst of hormone-raged days in the middle of my period.
