Just wondering. Dentist is one of the medical professions I can't really imagine a male in, stereotypically. I guess because my dentist is female.

Mine is male but I've never really associated a gender with the profession... haha, I guess there are more males than you thought!

I always think male. Most of the dentists I see on TV are male too.

My dentist's name (no kidding) is Doctor Nick. Great way to make you comfortable in the chair...

I don't think I've ever had a female dentist. We always choose the closest one, though, so it's not really choosing male or female.

My dentist is a guy. He's awesome. His name is Scott. *nods* And his business partner is also a guy, so I always imagine guys.

I guess the closest thought to what was given, would be male.

But whenever I think dentist, or hear dentist, I think of Desi, a friend of mine who is a dental assistant. o_o

When I think in specialities like prosthodontics and oral surgery, I think male but when I think othodontics, I think female.

Dr. Camille (my dentist) is nice, she talks with me while doing her job and is funny, and I like going to a dentist.

I dunno, I've been using dental braces by nearly 4 years (will take them off in March, thanks god) so my dentist is like family. She even dinned in my house couple times with her husband and newborn.

Mine's male, but I never really thought about what gender he was before, because I mean, you still have nurses too, and most of the time they are female. It just kinda seems right. I know I'm sterotyping here, but All my denists have been male.

For some reason all my military dentist, have been males. But that might be just because of the military being a large male percentage.

I see a male dentist in my mind since my first dentist and the dentist who will be removing my wisdom teeth are male.

I've had two male dentists and one female so I usually see 'em as guys.

I saif female and I have different dentists. My best friend's mom is a dentist and I'm always over at their house and she's always talking about the office so I think of her when I think dentist. As far as my own dentists, I never see the same dentist twice in a row. The office I go to is weird like that...

I picked male, because I go to an office with two male dentists and mostly female hygienists. Also, when I tried to think about, all I could think about was the male dentist from 'Little Shop of Horrors'.

Umm... I honestly can't remember. That's probably a good thing. Anyway, I think dentist then I quit thinking dentist before I make myeslf remember that I have to go to the dentist some time or other. I have an appointment coming up soon, may have to get braces. Argh.... wish me luck!
