Title: [S] Help!
Description: Concerning Mod CP.
pirate.bombshell - November 25, 2007 06:02 PM (GMT)
So when I try using the Mod CP, like closing all the topics as an example, the page changes and says: "The following errors were found:
Sorry, we could not find a member called User Name, are you sure it's correct?"
And then it has the little log in box but I'm already logged in. =S
What do I do?

Are you an administrator? I've never gotten that error before, you may want to go to the Admin CP and fill out a Support Ticket.
If you're not an admin, you should talk to your administrator. Try to see if they have the same problem. They also might have some strange settings for the forum you're trying to close the topics in, and that could explain the problem. But if the admins on the site are getting this error when trying to use the mod CP, it sounds like a support ticket issue to me.

I created the site so yeah, I'm the admin. But thanks, I'll try the Support Ticket.

Wait, how exactly does the Support Ticket help me?

When you send a support ticket, your request for help is sent directly to the InvisionFree support staff so that they can help you.
I have had some similar troubles when, though someone is a moderator or admin, the forum they are working in has a moderator group or member assigned to it and that group / member's individual moderator abilities are restricted more than usual. If you have a "forum led by" notice on the outside of the forum you're working in, I recommend going to ACP -> Forum Control -> Moderators and editing that forum moderator's abilities.

Your topic has been solved and moved to the 'Solved Support Topics' forum! Still have a question, or something isn't clear yet? PM an admin, gmod or cmod, and it will be moved back to the Support Center.
